Horrible service. Lack of communication and poor customer service. Didn't show up to my wedding. Was supposed to arrive at 4:30. I got a message at almost 6 pm(even though I gave contact information of people who would have a phone on them). Spelt our names wrong after several messages were sent with correct spelling. Didn't hear from them for months about any designs. Barely got my money back. I lost my whole wedding guest book and all of the pictures I was so excited to see. I was bragging about this company and now I will be sure to voice my actual opinion after my experience. read more

Do not do business with them. I had booked them for an event for August and left a deposit. Unfortunately I had to cancel the event, and per their cancellation policy I would receive my deposit back if I canceled 30 days before the event. I canceled in April and was informed that I would receive my deposit back. We are in July and have still not received anything. I have tried to get in contact with them and they are not responding to any of my messages or answering any of my calls. Not a legit business, go somewhere else. read more

I paid in full right then and there and had a few communications with her. Skip forward to April 2022 and I reach out to get some updates since I never heard anything. For 4 weeks I called, I left voicemails, I sent texts, fb messages, Instagram messages, emails with NO RESPONSE. I absolutely PRAYED that they might actually show up... and they didn't. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - I put my deposit down in July 2020 - cancelled my event in January 2021 and was informed I would receive my deposit back and get a full refund WITHIN 2 WEEKS - as their policy states if you cancel within 30 days of your booking, you are eligible for a refund. This is truly an example of if I could give zero stars I would. You do business with this vendor at your own risk. While the pricing seems great, this is a situation where you get what you pay for. Our case is an example of paying and literally receiving nothing in return. We booked Instabooth for our wedding a year in advance only for them to cancel on us mere days before our event. They had gone completely silent before that and required us to email and call them countless times just to get them to confirm they could not do our wedding anymore less than a week before our date. The coup de grâce of the situation is that while promising a refund of our deposit, Instabooth never did so and has once again ghosted us ignoring all communications. Stay far away from instabooth chicago. Countless times I could not get ahold of anyone through email or facebook messenger. I originally booked them for my wedding in 2021 but postponed to 2022 and when I reached out to them to either get my deposit back or to change to the new date there was no response. Because I made a comment on facebook where other people could see my concerns they finally responded. I never got a new contract for the new wedding date and yet again no response from them when I asked for the contract and asked what my remaining balance owed was. Flash forward to the week of the Wedding and at this point im expecting them to not show up to my event and I'm just going to lose my deposit but they actually responded this time. they designed my template for the photo strip and the day of the wedding they arrived late. Half way through them being there I noticed they didn't have the scrapbook on the table that I paid extra to have so I didn't get any copies of the pictures taken and no scrapbook. I went up to the girl there and asked her were it was and was told that they discontinued the scrapbook service but on their new website they still have it offered. Please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this company. My wedding was on August 1st they did show up but the printer wasn't working I paid extra for the scrap book so was very disappointed. It is now December 17th and still have no pictures I reached out to Stephanie the next day telling her what happened and that the attendant spent most of his time there outside with a young lady come to find out the man was her husband but when she called to ask about what happened she said he was a worker didn't know it was her husband until he called me asking why I lied about him being with a woman that she had to be one of our guest I was so upset how dare you call a customer like that. I'm mad at myself for paying with Zelle you only get married once and I can never get that experience back. Great value - very nice, accommodating staff - Stephanie made sure all of our guests got in to the booth and took some pictures. The scrapbook is a must - doesn't cost much on top of the photo booth rental but is great because your guests can sign it as it's put together. I'd rate zero if I could. I booked them for my wedding a yr ago. 2 weeks prior I had not heard from them as far as finalizing things, getting print proof etc. I had to email, FB, IG and call several times before I got a response days later. So ok whatever, got the email telling me final details. Told me they'd be sending print proof asap. Days went by and I then had to reach out again and ask for it. That's nothing....the day of my wedding my reception was ruined and I was robbed of it all when they NEVER showed up to my venue. No one would answer all night. I finally got an email 2 days later literally saying they're worker ended up in the wrong place and "things happen" disgusting and disrespectful to the fullest. I don't get a redo and I didn't hire an additional photographer because we were supposed to have the photo booth and the pics. Now we have nothing and literally zero pics of our guests. i cant believe it on November 12 th I sent a deposit by zelle for the next two weeks we called texted and emailed no one returned one call or text oe email/ on December 2nd two days before the event my coordinator recieved a email showing options for pics we once again asked for a receipt or invoice.. neve recieved it. had to book with another company and requested a refund today is December 13th no response to my requests no return call or text or email smh. read more
