I'll be honest, at first I didn't think I'd be hiring Magic Moment for our party. Armond is so responsive that I assumed he was trying to be aggressively salesy instead of simply helpful. What changed my tune? Primarily, the booking process. I talked to another vendor whose prices were cheaper and had good Groupon reviews, but there were red flags when I asked for a contract, etc. When I posed the same questions to Armond, he was again responsive and provided all of the information I asked for without trying to convince me to simply trust them. Once I booked, the responsiveness never faltered. Most times, I got emails back within a few hours, regardless of the day or time sent. In addition to Armond, Nathaniel helped me out with the design of the photo strips. When I didn't quite see what I wanted, he was able to model a design after an image I sent him at no extra charge. On the day of our event, John showed up promptly to setup. He was easy to work with and answered any questions we had. Everyone really enjoyed the photo booth and we got some really fun images out of it. At the end of our event, we got a physical copy of the strips and a few days later a link to a gallery that we could share with guests. Bottom line, I would hire Magic Moment again for a party. We used Magic Moment for our company party. We rented a 360 camera as well as the Draw Robot that draws people. The company was super communicative and made sure all of our needs were met beforehand. During our party they were kind, fun and professional. Both the Draw Bot and the 360 camera were a HUGE hit! We used Magic Moment Photo Booth for our wedding two weeks ago, and they were great! Armond was very patient with us during the initial negotiating process, and helped us customize a great package that met our needs. (I highly recommend the shiny backgrounds, they look great in the final pictures!) Their graphic designer was also very patient working with us on many drafts of our strip design, which came out perfectly. The photos were posted online promptly after our event, and the photo quality is fantastic! I also loved the props they provided. One tip: very few of our guests signed the photo book, which is a bummer, and afterward many told me that they had no idea they were supposed to sign it -- the attendant never mentioned it to them. I'd recommend either putting out a sign, or having a quick chat with your attendant and ask them to please encourage your guests to sign it. Our photo-booth attendant seemed very nice and flexible in moving the photo booth closer to the reception after cocktail hour. There were loose photos which are claimed to be 'extras' which when looking through the album are not included...there were 113 digital images and only 90 that made it to the photo booth book. Even my own parents only picture was not included in the book. Which also means guests did not have the chance to leave comments by the loose photos. Our attendant said to a relative he should go get more pages but 'didn't feel like going to his car'. I contacted them after in hopes to make this right with at least an apology or extra pages provided and was told that this could not be true and I was wrong. Here are two of the emails I received after writing the negative review (very unprofessional and wrong): "Client like you 1) False statements 2) Not understanding how we create memory books and why 3) Ungrateful human being No matter what no one can please you. We did everything right and you still keep on going with this. I will have my attorney bring you to court and you can deal with that. I am going to meet with her today and bring all evidence I have. If you're looking for a photo booth for your wedding (or any event) these are the only guys you'll ever need. Just had them come to my wedding over the weekend and everyone LOVED them. I wasn't able to get many pics as I wanted but my guests had lines forming to get their pictures taken. I also wasn't able to get our host's name during the busy night, but he was great. The kindest, fastest, most genuine people ever! We threw a party for our teen theater company. They were attentive, filled with joy and enthusiasm -- the kind of energy and vibe you want in a party partner. This is the second time we used this company and they've knocked it out of the park. The GiF feature is my favorite. I have to admit, I'm not super social-media-technologically-equipted and thought the GiF feature would be awesome but didn't understand the power of it's awesomeness until the teens tested it out -- I definitely got some street-cred for going that route -- highly recommend it. My experience of Magic Moment Photo Booth was great. The company was good with any questions we had and they were quick to respond. The host was nice and polite and the photo booth was good quality. One thing that I recommend is to have the photo booth print enough pictures for everyone in the picture. The machine only prints an even number of photos, so if we had an odd amount of people the host wouldn't give us enough photos. For example if there were three people in the picture, he would only print two because he didn't want there to be an extra. My advice for the company would either be to have it so the machine prints the correct numbers, or tell your hosts to always print enough for everyone. We got a photobooth for our wedding last month, and we didn't really search around for one - we just went with the one through Elevated Event Design, and they were AWESOME. We got to pick the design and colors of the photo strips, they were super professional the day of, our guests LOVED the props and the photobooth. They also got a copy of everyone's photo strips and put it into an album for us & had the guests write notes in it. We were given the album that night before they left! We also got a digital copy of everyone's photo strips not long after the wedding. Totally worth the money. 10/10 would hire again! read more

I hired Magic Moment for my wedding and it was one of the best decisions I made! I planned the entire wedding from a different state and it was pretty difficult trying to book vendors without meeting them in person. From the first phone call, Armond (the owner) was super friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions, helped me build a package that met all of our needs for the wedding. We even designed our own personalized photo strip that was PERFECT! Nathaniel was the one who ran our booth the night of the event and he was super helpful. Our timeline had to be shifted/delayed a bit since our ceremony started late. He was able to work with us and make sure that it all went as smoothly as possible. I'm very sad to say we had a bad experience with Magic Moment Photo Booths for our wedding. I was so excited to use them because of all of the positive reviews, but was EXTREMELY disappointed. We had worked out a design for the print on the photos and it wasn't used. The attendant was also VERY unprofessional. He was smoking cigarettes the whole time, did not instruct anyone to sign the photo booth when the pictures were printed, and I found him drinking at the reception after his time was up. When I approached the company with my concerns, not wanting to make my negative review public, they defended their employee and were not very apologetic at all. I wish we hadn't gotten a photo booth at all for our wedding rather than wasting money with this company. read more

Having a photo booth was an absolute last addition to my wedding. I called Armond two weeks before the wedding to see if they were available and he was very helpful and accommodating from the start. I expressed great interest in his services and even when I was too busy to follow-up he would shoot me a quick reminder email to make sure things were still progressing, which helped a lot. The day of the ceremony, they were there and set up before I even realized cocktail hour had started. Everybody loved the idea, the props, the helpful staff, and the memory book was amazing to go through at the end of the night. We did run out of sheets in our book, but that was more because I had misquoted the number of guests, and the excitement from our guests, than from MMPB being unprepared. At the end of my scheduled time, he made sure to offer to stay another hour for minimal cost, and I'm so glad we agreed, as that allowed us to capture even more amazing shots when the guests were in full party-mode. Digital files were provided within 72 hours, which was great because I didn't want to miss any of the shots. My company has been in business 24 years and is known as the class of the industry. We only work with the BEST vendors as that is what our clients expect. I hired MMPB to provide a booth for my sister's best friends 40th birthday celebration and the results were a disaster. After the event, I took 100% responsibility and refunded the client. What happened next was almost worst then the photo booth not working. I told the owner Armond I expected a full refund and instead of backing his broken booth-he went on the offensive and started personally insulting me. He has threatened me and my sister in emails and then made the mistake of sending clients who love me letters disparaging me. No one is this business is perfect, but one thing I've learned is that when you do make a mistake-OWN IT-and apologize and make up for it.
