I first learned of Wynn Films after attending a friend's wedding in September of 2016. Love that I chose Mark to film my wedding this May. For a short period of time I was hesitant to make room in the budget for video but after getting yelled at by my maid of honor and other friends I realized that I didn't want to regret it. Mark exceeded all of our expectations honestly. It's great to meet, and talk before the wedding, and to have a good smooth experience during the wedding day, but it all comes down to what you see in the video you received. It made me and my parents tear up all over again. He did an awesome job telling the story, making it film like, and showing the day in a unique and light hearted way, without losing any of the feeling or emotion that we felt. What more can I say. Awesome! That's all I have to say. When we met for our initial consultation we were prepared with questions that were answered with knowledge and expertise. To me the most important thing (aside from quality) was to have someone that was calm and confident, someone we could feel safe with and trust to work our wedding. The entire day took place in Chicago and we were constantly on the move from location to location. Mark was on the ball the entire time, working so well with the photographers. I like that it was just him, as I didn't want to be surrounded by a large crew all day long. We had Mark capture all 3 days (4 events) of our wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice! During the entire weekend, he was so kind and asked questions before the events started to make sure he would capture the right moments at the right times - although, he had SOOOO much knowledge already of Hindu ceremonies which made us feel confident that he would capture all the important moments! First of all, Mark was a professional in every sense, easy to get a hold of and on top of details, but also not breathing down our necks or pushy like other vendors. Being that he looks around 30 (I didn't ask) it seemed he would be more in touch with what brides are looking for today, not 20 years ago lol. We felt we were in good hands in the days before our wedding when we met with him to go over last minute details. We were kind of down that day after a discouraging conversation with another vendor, and he totally put us at ease. He took in our suggestions and added his own. He was not only on time, but early to my parents' house in the suburbs on a day with awful weather. He started off in the background, getting all my bridal details and other things around the house and our jewelry. Very personable and he warmed the group up to being filmed, everyone was laughing and having a good time. One point of advice or a suggestion I would give would be to add a second camera man for a couple hours to cover the guys getting ready, which I did not. Nothing about having the day filmed was awkward or annoying, more fun than anything. The video turned out so awesome. My family keep commenting that they are so surprised with the quality since they didn't even notice the cameras or small lights during entire day, and that it's actually really fun to watch, clean simple contemporary feeling and not boring or cheesy. I really was excited to show off my short video online with everyone, all the great feedback I got made me tear up just like the video did. All in all it was an great value for the money especially with the biggest package. I see some companies charging upwards of $6000 and coming out a crew of 3 or 4. I loved having it more low key, with just Mark, and still getting a cinematic type quality. I'll definitely be recommending Wynn Films. read more

I think Mark was my favorite vendor last fall, or at least tied with my DJ. The video was great but the real treat was having the day go perfect & smoothly. He worked with my photographer and the DJ to make sure they were all on the same page, he didn't need too much input from me other than checking in every once in a while, and worked almost non stop lol. I know the price is higher but well worth it. I was scared to go with a cheap videographer because I've seen the results with my friends and it wasn't pretty. Wynn Films did my wedding in Key West this spring. As with most brides who choose an outside vendor for destination weddings I had to sneak him as a family member who happened to be filming my day. He was really profession about this and I'm extremely relieved for my decision. My friends got married in Mexico 4 years ago and their video was filmed with some old equipment, I don't think it was high definition, and it was still square not widescreen!! We worked out a very, very reasonable cost for being out there and he was a joy to be around. Never in the way yet always there according to schedule or during any big toast. I got the highlight reel 15 or 16 days after the wedding and LOVE it! The final video arrived a couple months after and was the same quality as the reel. Where do I begin?! Wynn Films and Mark were awesome! I had them for my July wedding and I'm glad I was able to book them as they fill up fast (my friend missed out on her date- So I would suggest not waiting!) And I'd suggest STRONGLY getting video. I know it's sappy but my grandparents aren't going to be around forever and I want something professional that I can look back to. I guess there's a stigma about video that it's cheesy and you will never watch it. That's why I was really picky about who I booked and also made sure there was a short version highlight reel that I got. It's five minutes long, I shared it with my whole family, and everybody was able to watch it on Facebook. It turned out amazing, and family members were liking and commenting on it. We got the full version too but the highlights is what I loved most. If you are having two videographers request Geraldine -she's great!
