When looking for a photobooth vendor for our wedding, we researched many different companies, but…read moreMagbooth was the obvious choice. My husband and I are very picky when it comes to photography. We've been to several weddings, and usually, the quality of the photo and photo paper for most photobooths is mediocre. We loved Magbooth because they actually use a decent DSLR (my husband noticed that it was a Nikon D3100), and the photo paper isn't flimsy like most other companies. They customize a logo for you and send you a coffee table book with all of your guests' photobooth pictures (with the option of omitting inappropriate pictures if you'd like), which we preferred over other vendors who create a scrapbook for the Bride and Groom. The attendant was great and let us know when he was shutting down the booth to check if we wanted to get some final pictures in. Victor is very responsive via email, and we received our CD of images and coffee table book very quickly. The only downfall is that you only get one photo per sitting so our friends who went into the booth as a group had to decide on who keeps the picture. However, all images are online for download so it wasn't a big deal. We'd highly recommend Magbooth!

Interesting my review was taken down?! I'm going to leave another review because I feel STRONGLY…read morethat my nephew was mistreated by a employee of Magnolia photo booth at a wedding we were at. The employee was rude the ENTIRE night (clearly at didn't want to be there) but lost her cool when she grabbed my 6 year old nephew and yelled at him when he tried to photo bomb his aunts. MULTIPLE (very sober) witnesses to this. Zero excuse for that and really unprofessional. If you want to be rude and crabby, a fun wedding probably isn't the place for you.

I'll be honest, at first I didn't think I'd be hiring Magic Moment for our party. Armond is so…read moreresponsive that I assumed he was trying to be aggressively salesy instead of simply helpful. What changed my tune? Primarily, the booking process. I talked to another vendor whose prices were cheaper and had good Groupon reviews, but there were red flags when I asked for a contract, etc. When I posed the same questions to Armond, he was again responsive and provided all of the information I asked for without trying to convince me to simply trust them. Once I booked, the responsiveness never faltered. Most times, I got emails back within a few hours, regardless of the day or time sent. In addition to Armond, Nathaniel helped me out with the design of the photo strips. When I didn't quite see what I wanted, he was able to model a design after an image I sent him at no extra charge. On the day of our event, John showed up promptly to setup. He was easy to work with and answered any questions we had. Everyone really enjoyed the photo booth and we got some really fun images out of it. At the end of our event, we got a physical copy of the strips and a few days later a link to a gallery that we could share with guests. Bottom line, I would hire Magic Moment again for a party. They were extremely professional and we were happy with the overall experience.

Thank you to Emma Mullins Photography for partnering with us to plan and achieve an amazing…read moreelopement ceremony. Emma was an enthusiastic cheerleader and supporter to us along our wedding planning journey. Emma is very responsive, enthusiastic, detailed and creative, and helped us accomplish a fantastic wedding day.  Emma helped us identify creative ways to replan our wedding during COVID19, and was incredibly flexible as our plans changed multiple times. We ultimately were able to get married in a small ceremony at Starved Rock State Park in IL, and Emma went above and beyond and drove out there a few weeks before the wedding to scout out some beautiful spots for photos.  During our wedding day, we had photography services with Emma and videography services with her colleague Carlos. Their team helped us feel excited and confident throughout the whole wedding day. Emma's positivity and energy helped us have SO much fun during our photo sessions. Carlos was able to creatively capture video from the full day and we were so impressed by the sound and visual quality of the videos. Emma captured the colors, joy and essence of the day in her photos. Looking back at the photos and videos brings us and our families so much joy. Emma and Carlos sent us highlight photos and a highlight video in just a couple weeks (we paid extra for expedited delivery) , and then the full set of photos and the full video came to us a couple months later. We LOVED working with Emma and her team, and we definitely recommend her for anyone in the Chicago area. Well worth the money! P.S. Thank you to Emma's husband, Jeremy, who stepped in to be our wedding officiant at the last minute due to our plans changing during COVID19. Working with Emma and her team felt like we were working with family. Thank you!

I was very impressed with his website and portfolio, so my fiance and I set up a meeting with him. During that meeting with Rob, we were blown away about how much he knows about photography. You could tell he has a passion for this. My fiance(now husband) wanted to book Rob right away, but I didnt want to put all our eggs in one basket right away. We met with another solo photographer who could not even compare to Rob and we met with a big box company who insulted us and really just tried to sell their "made in italy" custom books, not the photography. Rob was always prompt with getting back to me as I had a lot questions and he explained everything. Our engagement session was a blast and when I saw the proofs, they were just perfect! Before the wedding, Rob was in touch with us and suggested an alternate site for wedding pictures. When we drove by, I fell in love with it! However, due to the heat on our wedding date, we went back to the bar my fiance (husband) met at and Rob was completely on board! The week of the wedding called us and we were able to discuss day of planning and we were all on the same page! For the day of, Rob and his crew were on time and started snapping away! He was professional, but fun to work with! I can't wait to see the pictures!!!! We also used his digital photo booth which was something new as the "strips" are emailed to the parties instead of printed out. Some of the pictures I took with friends turned out okay, but some were really dark which was disappointing. Overall, his price is reasonable for the area and I always believe you get what you pay for with photography. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the industry, is easy to talk to and provides a great product.
