I can't say enough good things about Greenkey Photography. It's been almost a year since our…read morewedding and I have *not once* thought, "I wish we had done that with the photographs" or "I wish my photos would have such-and-such". I would not change one thing. We worked with Kieffer and he was professional, calming, and inspiring every single time we met. We were on the fence about an engagement photo session. He recommended it so that we would get used to having someone in our faces with a camera. At first, never having worked with a professional photographer, that maybe it was just a nudge to an upsell. But it was included in the package we selected and it really worked!! My camera-shy wife was so much more comfortable on our wedding day because of it. Green Key came up with the theme for our engagement photos and they turned out so well! We still go back and look at the album. Kieffer also suggested making a photo book of our engagement photos with white space and using it as our guest book. It was such a great idea and everyone loved it! The wedding day was unbelievable. He took care of everything imaginable. There were fun pictures that I didn't even notice him taking, and he captured some moments that I will remember forever. Looking back at our photos helped me recapture some things too, because the day does go by so fast! I wanted some funny face pictures with my young nephews (because we always do them at every holiday) and he was totally up for it! Nothing threw him, he got all the pictures of my...difficult...family members, and made it all work. And of course, price. The value was amazing. We compared him with other photographers and the price compared to what we got was substantially different than other photographers. Sometimes you worry about it when you get a good deal but not here. He was genuinely well priced for an amazing talent. I could go on and on about Kieffer from Greenkey Photography. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Greenkey DJ and DJ Nick Laudadio are TOP NOTCH. From the initial meeting all the way to the final…read moresong of the wedding, Nick was extremely easy to work with. Planning a wedding can be stressful, and the music can be one of the biggest stressor since it sets the mood for the reception. However, Nick's experience and knowledge helped to set us at ease. Nick is very adaptable and can give you as much or as little help as you require. We sat with Nick and we gave him an idea of the type of bands and music that we liked. From there he was able to start to create a playlist that he would use. After he shared the playlist with us, I could tell that he had a pretty good idea of what we like and it was clear he paid attention to what we discussed to create a solid playlist. Next, I worked with him to to give him a few other ideas of some songs/moods we would like to add to enhance what he had already done. The more information you share with him, the better things get. He is excellent at zeroing in on the information you give him to personalize the music to your taste. However, if you wanted to be a little more hands off, there is no doubt he can take care of you too. Like I said, even with a minimal amount of input he was well on his way to creating an awesome playlist that still would have been great. No matter what you want, Nick will be able to work with you to make sure that your reception will reflect you! Our whole reception was awesome, and I actually had multiple guest tell me during the event that they loved the music! It doesn't get much better than that! Give Nick a call, he will take good care of you!

Our daughter got married in Chicago and we live in Florida so it was very complicated to find somebody that we would like. We couldn't really rely on recommendations because we didn't know anybody there. Also to be perfectly honest we didn't want to spend more than $3000 on the photography. Being that the wedding was in downtown Chicago, everybody that I talk to before finding Robert was very stuck up and very very pricey. When I looked at Roberts work on his website I was absolutely amazed by the pictures that he would take. They were not traditional wedding pictures where you have everybody just lined up, they were pictures of the moments, pictures of the things that were actually happening. Just by looking at those pictures you could imagine what was going on at those weddings. His photographs tell a story and capture the most natural shots possible. For us, this was very important. Robert was very courteous and was able to cover the day without being obtrusive while at the same time being in the right place at the right time. We had many compliments about him from our guests. When I was hiring Robert I wanted to hire two photographers for my daughter's wedding every single moment would be captured. He tried to assured me that I would not need two photographers because of the size of her wedding. We had 80 people. I was still skeptical but he did say that he would have his assistant with him so I decide to go I and just hire him. Well, he was right! He was able to cover everything! Bride's preparations, groom's preparation, me being stressed out :), maid of honor helping, bride drinking a glass of champagne.... Everything that you want to remember from your wedding. All the candid shots, people dancing, drinking, eating... Everything! Most importantly my daughter is little shy and does not like taking pictures, so the way that Robert did this was just amazing. She felt so comfortable with him that I now am such a happy mom looking at her beautiful pictures. Thank you Robert for making my daughter's day so special.

First the basics - we looked at a few other photographers and we did not find anyone that compares on cost. It wasn't even close. So it was affordable to work with Andrew, but also very smooth. He met with us in person three times and I am sure would have more had we asked. He was very responsive to emails and never set a limit of the number of contacts, which is something we have heard other vendors do. Andrew is personable, intelligent and very easy to work with. My wife and I also relied heavily on our vendors for advice on how to structure the wedding evening - they are the pros after all - and Andrew was always game for giving us advice on what works best. When we returned from our honeymoon Andrew had setup a Flickr account for us to see all of our photos. The quality is outstanding. The quantity is huge. And he gave us full rights to the photos. We could not have asked for a better experience with Andrew.

The photos were so great that we opted not to use any of the retouching he had included in our package. Andrew is also extremely pleasant to work with because he has a friendly, low-key personality. We felt like he really understood what we wanted and did not try to "sell" us on anything.

Most of the other photographers I found were using silly photoshop filters or taking pictures at an angle to make the photos look creative, which I think is really cheesy. Before I met Steve, I had worked with several other local photographers and I can say Steve was by FAR the best to work with. Our wedding was scheduled for July 2020 and was postponed a year due to Corona. As a west coast bride, Shalin was kind enough to transfer my engagement photo session hours to the wedding because it was too risky to fly to Chicago in April. He re-worked our contract for the following year and honored the original price, which was great. On the wedding weekend he went above and beyond.
