Good Times - cheese, sausage, pepperoni

I typically see Dizzy Cow at a few of the breweries I frequent (Sapwood, Hysteria, etc.). The pizza is wood fired and ready in a decent amount of time. The menu is small, but concise (one cheese, one meat based, one veggie based, and a special). You can also create your own. The pizza is decent, but I prefer a competitor wood fired truck-- Brick n Fire. They also serve on paper plates, whereas their competitor uses boxes. Overall, I enjoyed my Green Thumb and Good Times pizzas. I'd eat again if given the choice!

    Charred crust. It tasted terrible.

We were looking to hire a pizza truck for our small wedding. We reached out first to Dizzy Cow. Their response was very impersonal and it took 9 days to get a response to our inquiry. Ironically, when delivering the estimate, rather than showing their enthusiasm for talking more, or selling what they would add to our event their only message was "this message expires in one week" explaining that if we didn't book within the time, the price would go up. Strong flex considering their response time was horrible in comparison to every single one of their competitors. But, we were hopeful that their lack of enthusiasm for their product and poor response time would be unimportant when we tried their pizza. Wrong. We tried two pizzas at Pherm this weekend in crofton. They were not very friendly, and my pizza was awful. I mean, terrible. Burned on the bottom and visibly on the top. My partner's pizza was bland and mediocre at best. We love pizza. I would have hired any of the competition for our big day based on their pizza and service. However, I will never return to Dizzy Cow again. Icing on the cake. They were scheduled to serve pizza at my fiancés job today, and canceled the day of. All signs point to no thanks Dizzy Cow. If you're looking for fantastic pizza and a LOVELY, enthusiastic experience, call Love Crust Pizza instead. They are so clearly thrilled to be working with their customers, and proud of their product. The difference in attitude will leave you hungry...for pizza. That isn't burned. Somewhere else.

I love supporting small businesses and I love pizza even more. When I found out this food truck would be in my business park, I made sure I showed up to the office that day. My commute to work did not go in vain, as I enjoyed my pizza. I got the old faithful, tomato sauce and cheese. Looks like they were out of fresh basil that day. Anywho, the pizza was quite good. I don't believe it was worth the price but I understand owing a food truck is costly so the $10 didn't bother me too much. This is definitely better than some chain restaurants like Papa Johns and Pizza Hut. Not better than places like &pizza though.

Dizzy Cow has been coming to our church every Tuesday for Food Truck Tuesday. Most of the food trucks rotate, every other Tuesday. When the schedule is posted, I check to see if Dizzy Cow will be there. My decision on whether to attend is if it's Dizzy Cow's week. I love Dizzy Cow pizza! Old Faithful, cheese, sauce and crust are delicious. Crust is cooked perfectly, so much yummy cheese...just yum! Another good one is The Frenchman, honey, cheese and figs. Sounds strange but it's so delicious. It's their most popular pizza. Dizzy Cow employees are always so friendly. Our church has a lot of members, I call it a mini mega church. Plus people from surrounding communities come on Tuesday for the trucks. You'll always receive a smile, even if it's 90 degrees in the middle of summer and they are in a steaming hot truck with a pizza oven. There's only a few Food Truck Tuesday's left this year, I'm already looking forward for next year and my Tuesday Old Faithful!

the novelty of this place is great. The first time i encountered the famouse mobile pizza oven was at a food truck gathering with open bar so i think my initial reaction was a little over inflated. I thought it was the bessssttt pizzaaa eevvveeerr. granted i had been drinking so i knew i needed to try again. Dizzy cow set up in the harbor across the street from my office at least once a week when the farmers market would come on Thursdays and then some random Tuesdays. The idea of fresh oven pizza conviently outside my door is awesome and i see why people pay for the novelty. and i do mean pay. prices range from $12-$14 for a pie depending on the toppings you get. The always have a list of suggested pizzas and normally they are a mix of classic ingredients with one or two you wouldnt think of. Every pizza i have had is OK. is it the best pizza i have ever had? No but its great when pizza is what you are craving and you dont want crappy dominos pizza. just watch out for any pizza that has olive oil on it as a topping. the olive oil tends to settle on the bottom of the plate and makes ther otherwise light and flaky crust soggy. Wait times are not as long as you would expect watching your pizza be made from conception. rolling out dought puttig on toppings and baking takes about 15 minutes from start to finish and they will make multiple pizzas at a time so the lines move pretty fast. Dizzy cow is a ok with me and next season when they come back i will come back as well.

Stopped to get a pizza while at Artscape and was so glad I did! I ordered the Old Faithful and added pepperoni. The crust was light and fluffy and the sauce had great flavor. I wasn't a huge fan of the pepperonis but they were large enough to take them off without any hassle. The staff moved very fast even with a long line. I received my piping hot pizza within minutes of ordering. I hope to run into this food truck again soon!

    Amazing pizza!

Burger King or McDonalds may be a better choice for cuisine if you don't like a bit of a wait or if you take issue with a business owner and his team taking the time to engage each customer :)

It appears the best way to know their business hours and ordering process is to give them a follow on Instagram. You can preorder or show up during their business hours. I decided to preorder. I ordered the funky fish sandwich with sweet shebang shrimp, fries, soda and no nanna pudding. You DM your order on IG , they send you their cashapp info you pay on cashapp and then send confirmation of payment via DM. The food is made to order upon arrival so when you get there you inform them of your order they give you a number and then you wait for your food to be prepped. They said they would be there 1p-4p. We got there around 1:13pm and they were still setting up. While we waited they had music playing and they were also serving us moscato and or tequila as we waited in line which was a nice touch. All of the staff looked happy to be there and were very nice. They interacted with everyone positively which I liked. Even with us preordering we still waited about an hour for our food. The fish sandwich is deep fried swai topped with honey, old bay, hot sauce and mayochup on a Hawaiian roll. The shrimp had sweet chili sauce on it and the fries were crinkle cut and crispy with ketchup on top. The meal was delicious and filling. I finished it in two sittings. The no nanna pudding was the perfect sweet treat to compliment the meal. The food is tasty, fresh and affordable. Customer service on point and I definitely recommend.

We ordered: +Oh Honey Puppies - hushpuppies with some corn kernels and drizzled with honey; these were crispy, but could have been more warm +the Loaded Seafood Salad - prepared with tri-color pasta, shrimp, crabmeat, and imitation crab in a mayo/Old Bay salad dressing; served with a mini pack of Ritz crackers; didn't really seem to have any jumbo lump crab, only a couple of shrimp and shredded imitation crab; since these were 'recently' made, they were still at a room temperature and may be better when chilled +the Funky Fish Sandwich with the Sweet Shebang Shrimp and Fries - this is one of their daily specials; deep-fried swai fish in their house flour mixture, set on a toasted Hawaiian sweet bun; the menu stated that it was drizzled with their 'signature honey sauce' but everyone was asked what they wanted, in which choices included regular honey, Old Bay, Heinz Mayochup sauce, or hot sauce - while the fish was hot out of the fryer, the batter was not as crispy as one would have though; it was also was on the bland side, so having the drizzles sort of helped; there were 4 piece of shrimp, which were large in size, but, again, no flavor or seasoning to the batter; served with a side of crinkle-cut fries I wished they had small condiment cups, as whatever sauce(es) you choose, they have to drizzle it all on for you, so you really can't control the dipping situation. The staff here highly recommends their patrons to pre-order, as they state that their food will sell out; there was a 'walk-up' line, which was a first-come, first-serve type of a situation, and people start congregating around half an hour prior to the supposed opening hour. One thing to note is that they don't open on time - we had to wait 35+ minutes, in addition to the preorder queue... getting there about 45 minutes to 1 hour later may be your best bet. Glad I was able to try this viral place out, but not sure if I'd go out of my way to return. +doesn't open on time +Oh Honey Puppies +pre-orders available +in the Hollins Market neighborhood
