    ***UPDATE*** Last…read moreweek I was able to talk with a rep from Help Center Support/Customer Relations. She was very professional in allowing me to fully vent my complaints and frustration about their outsourced, offshore customer service department, and about their billing system. She was also very friendly, so much so that I apologized for the anger and frustration I showed in dealing with customer service. I think she was genuine in stating she didn't blame me. that it was understandable why I got to that point (yes, I'm paraphrasing here). I don't think anything was really resolved regarding corporate practices moving forward, except that she removed the $1 late fee. But the positive result is that I now have an actual corporate customer service person I can contact if any similar issues arise in the future. This is comforting because as I've said about a company outsourcing customer service functions, it both isolates and insulates them from customer complaints. So, this issue's been settled, at least, and we're staying with ADT.

Since I don't have the code, I can't shut it off. I was finally able to at least silence it but when I called ADT and spoke with their tech rep, she just kept telling me to Google how to turn it off. I commented how bizarre it was to call and speak to a tech rep only to be told to Google it. Frankly, I will never be your customer. If that's how you treat people, I'm not at all impressed. Not to mention everyone I spoke to was foreign and couldn't have cared less about my issue. Horrible customer service. One guy asked me if I installed the system myself. Who on earth does that? If I installed it myself, I could get it turned off! Do better. And I guess I'll just be stuck with this "alarm" screen forever because manually turning it off didn't do anything at all.

I called Brian and with a quick response, he came over to my house to see what I needed. I was looking to bring my Cablevision to an detached garage, along with wifi and to also bring my cable out to the back of my home for a TV, along with the installation of the wall brackets and TV's as well. This required outside trenching a conduit for the cable from the house to the garage and going under a cement and paver walkway. Brian came, checked it out, had me rest at ease knowing that it can be done no problem. His crew of 2 hard workers, Chris and his Ryan showed up and started the job with diligence. They started by surveying the site for the best route of running the wires, and got to work. These guys worked all day running cables (cat5 wire) and installing all that was needed. They needed to come back a second day to finish up. Chris and Ryan were amazing working really hard as a team and not stopping. My end product...I have my 2 TV'S installed and my wifi repeater in the garage as well. These guys are amazing!! I already discussed with Ryan now a security system and well be getting that done in the future. He gave me a great price on that too. He is coming this Friday to install an electric box on the roof of my garage room to hang a chandeli over a board table. These guys rock. They are professionals and get the job done!

I was previously a customer of Richmond Alarm since 2017 until Johnson's Control took over. I had an alarm system with them which included a smoke detector, wall panel and a door code digital lock that didn't come with a key. They advised me that I will NEVER be locked out. I was told if the battery dies or if there is a malfunction with the door lock for me to attach a 9volt battery at the bottom of the lock, I will be able to get it. Yesterday the lock failed, my put two different 9 volt batteries up to the lock and it didn't work. I called Johnson's Control and they were extremely rude to me. I was locked out for 3 hours until I had to have someone break the lock in order to get it, which took 2 more hours to do. I called back and spoke to a representative once I got in my condo. I advised the representative that I need a new lock because their system failed. He told me that Johnson's Controls does not provide locks. I advised him that i am on a monthly payment plan and that iI got the lock from them. The representative did a test internally and advised me that he didn't see that I was on a monthly service plan and that he only could see service on January 3rd and March 7th. He told me to arm the system and open the door to see if he would get a signal. I armed the panel opened the door and set the alarm off he heard it in the background and told me the problem is internal this is why my keypad malfunctioned because Johnson's Control is not sending a signal to my condo and that there is a disconnect internally. He advised me to call in the morning and ask to speak to the general manager as someone needs to come out but the fees should be waived because the problem is internally and I don't have a warranty. I called today and spoke with Tram she was rude and told me to call a locksmith and she hung up!!! I called back and spoke to John then he changed his name to Jack. I advised him that the other manager was rude and hung up on me, he said she's sitting really right here. I also advised him to read the notes because the representative that i spoke to the night before read the internal notes that he left advising that there is an internal issue. No one would let me speak to anyone hirer. Jack/John was rude and told me that I want free service because I don't want to pay for a service call in the amount of 187.50 and hour and 31.50 every 1/2 thereafter even though the problem was internal. I canceled serví with them and i signed with Tru Vizion I hope the General Manager reads this and contact me as his employees are very rude and it is more to this story. Johnson Controls DOES NOT care about their customers. They display poor customer service skills and n Ed better training. If you need a security system, Do not chose Johnson's Control. I recommend Tru Vizion.
