Everyone is super professional, ultra clean!!!! Kiley was outstanding. She took time to listen to exactly what I was looking for and while I waited she sketched it up. I would recommend this shop to everyone! read more

Just got my first tattoo ever from Tyson and the whole experience was AWESOME! On my initial visit to the shop, the lady at the front was very nice and helpful. My consult and actual tattoo with Tyson was great. He listened to what I wanted and had some great ideas to make it even better. He is a very relaxed and laid back guy. My tattoo turned out perfect. I highly recommend the shop and I plan to get another tattoo done by Tyson in the near future! read more

Awesome tattoo parlor! Had been looking into getting my first tattoo, and decided to give Divinity Tattoo a try. Walked in without an appointment, bur within 15 minutes Samm already had a concept design of what I was looking for and got to work shortly. Very pleased with the result, and will most certainly use again! read more

Best place to get a tattoo. Recently got my first one and was really nervous, Nathan did an excellent job of calming me down and taking me thru the whole thing. Before I knew it it was all done! Place is very clean too! read more

This is a great place. I have a couple more small tattoos I'd like to get and I will definitely go back to this place. And if Nathan Z is still there - he's my guy. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone else looking for a tattoo. read more

Such a fantastic shop! Both my husband and I have had work done by Scott & we are both very pleased. My piece was fairly simple script work, along with a small emblem designed by Scott with my husband's initials. I love it! The design was perfect; he worked with me to make sure I loved it. My husband's design was a bit more intricate; he had an idea in his mind, but couldn't get it on paper. Scott worked with him to make sure it was exactly what he wanted, and it turned out better than either of us ever imagined. We'll certainly go back. They're not the best with communication, but you can be sure you'll walk out with a piece you love. read more

I love this shop! It is extremely clean and professional! I went in for a coverup and was thrilled with the outcome! Vincent took my idea and created a beautiful tattoo for me! If I decide to get more ink I will be coming to Divinity! read more

I've never had any tattoos before, so I was really nervous about everything. I've been in tattoo/piercing shops before and I've always felt a little weird due to snobby front desk people and bad attitudes in general. This place is NOT like that. I made my first appointment for a consultation with Scott LaMadline after seeing his outstanding portfolio online. He emailed me back with his thoughts on my concept and seemed really excited about it. The consultation was good, and he had a sketch done about a week later and it was even better than I imagined. The atmosphere of this place is unlike any other shop I've been in. It's casual and has an art gallery feel to it. The entire place is filled with original artwork and awards won by the artists. The girls working at the front desk are super friendly and helpful about setting up appointments. I've had three 4-5 hour sessions with Scott so far and every time I've been more impressed than the last. We just started doing color on the lower half of my sleeve and it's incredible. He is very friendly and professional. He's doing a piece that is a memorial for my pets that have passed. When he got done coloring in one of my ferrets it actually made me tear up a little bit. He really is that good. Nothing but good experiences here. I wouldn't think of going to another place in Phoenix for any of my future work. It's a little on the expensive side, but I think when it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for. If you want a cheap, tacky tattoo that won't hold up over time, go somewhere else. If you want beautiful, quality work this is the place for you. read more

Clearly the best shop in Phoenix! I couldn't be happier with my work! Award winning.. Thank you so much! read more

Went in on Thursday and gave a rather difficult custom idea to Toby, who is one of the artists who works there. In two days, he made that idea into an awesome piece of art on my arm! He is a stand up artist and the shop is the best in Phoenix! Very clean, helpful, and just a cool looking shop! Will definitely come again! read more

Very professional and great atmosphere! Lots of awards displayed. Highly recommend and will definitely go there for any more! Loved it!!

This is a really great tattoo place. My brother got his tattoo there and it looks amazing. His artist was a girl {I don't know her name}, she is really good though. His tattoo is written in Old English. It was his first tattoo. He pulled through the pain, I one sitting. read more

Sam did a horrible job. Whom I found out after was a recent apprentice. My mom and I made an appointment to get matching outlines of a heart tattooed. My tattoo turned out uneven in thickness and now that it has heal I am noticing breaking in the line that weren't darkened enough to take hold me in my skin. read more

Great work and they listen. You can schedule with the artist that suits you and what you are wanting. I had a great experience with Bruce and would recommend him to anyone. It is a professional shop with professional people. Looking forward to my next tattoo. read more

I recently had my first (and only) tattoo at age 67. Dan Mattingly was my artist and he was fabulous. I gave him a picture of my beloved dog who had recently died and his work in reproducing that picture on my arm was flawless. My tattoo came out exactly as I had hoped it would The store is clean, the staff professional and friendly and the whole process was not nearly as scary as I thought it would be. I cannot recommend Divinity and most especially Dan highly enough. This is definitely the place to go for professional, sanitary and beautiful work. read more

My tattoo artist was Ryan. I wanted a real sized dog tag on my wife's arm. I showed him pictures of how I wanted it to look. He completely ignored what I wanted and put a big black blob on her arm. read more

I had a really awful experience at this shop. Some of the staff was incredibly rude, the rest were kind, and far more professional than the owner. I over heard one of the staff refer to a person of color by a slur while I was there. When I called and kindly and politely asked about some issues I had with my tattoo and maybe getting my money back to pay another artist to fix it (because at this point I did not feel comfortable allowing one of their staff do the work.) When I came in I was told I could come in for up to year for free touch up's. The manger/owner was very rude and condescending I even told him "sorry that maybe I was misinformed, but please stop speaking down to me." He than just hung up on me. The manger explained "it was my responsibility, and my problem." My advice is take your time to find a shop where they are willing and able to help you if you have any issues with the work that was done. The manger said to me "You wanted to be taken care of all the way through that's not how this works." I recorded our conversation and I am happy up load it. He was right I did expect more concern about my issues and help. The tattoos I got were part of my culture and very sacred unfortunately to westerners tattoos have no meaning hence the "its your problem attitude." This shop does not respect other peoples cultures or people of different ethnicity its very much about the money and greed at this shop. The shop is full of Buddhist symbols and objects yet the owner seems to be a crude and prejudice man, the shop generates more then enough in profit to refund me.When I tried to call back my calls were ignored; So I called on another number of course it was picked up immediately; at that point I just wanted the paper work for my records. This was a great learning experience for me about western culture and how greed rules them. Some of the staff was professional and listen to my issues and I appreciate them for that. read more

I've had all 4 of my tattoos done at this place. I've been more than pleased each time. Daniel Francis did my last two tattoos. He's very nice and accommodating and does great work. read more

I've been coming to this shop for years now. I love How clean and professional the shop is. Being in a customer service based business myself; I appreciate the level of communication between the shop and myself. The shop is run like a well oiled machine and is high class. (No shady people or tools or cheapness) Each artist I've had the pleasure of meeting while being tattooed are as equally professional and nice. My artist is Dub and he is truly an artist. I've been working with him on a full sleeve and I've yet to find anything to complain about. I give him simple preferences on what I'm thinking and his creativity takes over. I don't even need to look at a stencil before he begins to tattoo because the level of trust I have in his talents is high. I know he will never give me anything he wouldn't be proud of. Although my tattoo isn't done I am constantly being asked where I get my ink and who does my art. I get stopped all the time for people to look at my arm. That speaks volumes of his artwork and capabilities. I can't say enough and if you are looking for something permanent on your body that is beautiful; HE IS WORTH EVERY DOLLAR! I'm excited to see my finished product because I know it will be exactly what I wanted! read more

Once again Austin West does her magic. I had a cross tattoo that had been reworked 3x and no one did the kind of job she did. It's a brand new gorgeous piece of art. She's fixed both my tattoos. I highly recommend Divinity Tattoo. Professional, CLEAN, and talented. Just an overall awesome place for really great artistry. Thank you. read more

To update, I now have my tattoos completed and I could not be happier! Everyone I show them to is amazed by the linework and the color saturation. The shop has expanded and is better than ever! read more

I am having all work from Divinity "tattoo" lasered off. That's how horrible of a job their "artist" did.

After hours of research on internet I chose this shop based on a reference from a friend of a friend. This was my first tattoo and prior to getting to the shop I was extremely nervous. However as soon as I saw the drawing that Dan Mattingly had done of my tattoo I was put at ease immediately. Dan is an amazing artist and I am absolutely thrilled with my tattoo. I have gotten many compliments in the few days that I have had it and will be going back to Dan again in the future. read more

I went to get a tatto from nathen, and after he totally screwed it up he was no help in fixing it . He is a terrible artist that should not be tattooing. As for the owner he said he would fix it but he would charge me full price by him. Very dispeased with the service there and I wouldnt recomend that shop to anyone. read more

Dub is awesome! The shop has a great artistic vibe and is well worth the money.

Got the itch for a tattoo the day after Christmas. Walked in and was greeted by Eric.Told them what I was looking for and not one employee "jumped" on the opportunity to take a walk-in. They directed me to the artist portfolios and said to look at them then decide on an artist based on the work I liked. That right there sold me. Just so happened that the work I was most impressed by turned out to be the artist (Eric) that greeted me. I even had to ask who's work it was before being told it was his. I am heavily tattooed in black and gray and his contrast with deep black and white was incredible. I am a huge proponent of "you get what you pay for" but I found the rate to be very reasonable after hearing others complain that Divinity is expensive. Very clean parlor and friendly artist's. read more

Coming from an veteran tattoo enthusiast, I can honestly say that Divinity Tattoo is the best studio I have seen to date. Extremely cleanly and with a great atmosphere, Vincent has helped me craft my sleeve exactly how I wanted and more. A little pricy, but understandable with the service you receive. You definitely get what you pay for! read more

I got my first tattoo here this past week. I had an idea I wanted to run with for years, but never bit the bullet. I finally decided it was time, so I did my research and kept coming back to Divinity. I was already familiar with them prior, but once I started looking around for myself, it was clear this was the choice for me. I looked at the artists portfolios and loved Paolo's work, so I decided to try and get in with him. I was fortunate enough to get a consultation appt with him, we discussed my concept, he right away knew where i was going and had some ideas that I absolutely loved, so we scheduled my appt for about 2 months out. For a first tattoo, I went with something on the larger side, and pretty detailed, so my nerves were through the roof when I went in. But it honestly could not have been any easier. Paolo's drawing was spot on to what I wanted. He was super cool about everything. The place was spotless. We chatted most of the time, and I couldn't have been more comfortable given the circumstances. It was a 4 hour session, and the time honestly flew by. I have to go back for one more appt to do the color after all heals. Even a few days later, I can honestly say it has not been at all uncomfortable. And it looks SICK! I can't even imagine how amazing it will be once the color is done. Long story short - I would recommend Divinity to anyone, first tattoo or 100th. Everyone else in the shop was super cool, helpful, friendly. Although this was my first tattoo I've been to several other places since all of my friends are covered in ink, and I can say this place is definitely a gem. Already trying to figure out what to get next! read more
