As a professional, I hold companies to a higher standard. I measure companies based off their response to my issues and how far they go to stand behind their work. In this case I would rate Dividend Homes a 10 if I could. KC and Pete, I can't thank you both enough for standing behind your subs, even when they are out of business. It says a lot about Dividend as a company.
Quick backstory. Mid March we had horrific back to back storms in Morgan Hill with 70-90mph winds. My neighborhood suffered a massive power surge and many homes on my street were affected. My solar inverter blew up, my 14k stove died as well as my fridge. When I filed my claim with my solar inverter company Fronius, I had to follow their protocol which consisted of a series of pics and a licensed electrician overview. Long story short, my warranty claim was denied due to faulty installation by the contractor, Peterson & Dean, which is now out of business.
When I contacted Dividend Homes to discuss their stance, given I was the second owner, I was prepared for a fight. What I received was quite the opposite. I was met with open dialog and a willingness to help. Ultimately, Dividend stepped up and accepted responsibility for their sub, WOW!!! Not many companies step up these days and take responsibility, seems most companies now a days look to pass the buck. BRAVO Dividend, well done! Today I had my new inverter installed by Citadel Roofing & Solar. What a fantastic experience. Tyler the installer did a fantastic job and was a true professional. I would highly recommend them.
In closing, it is rare to deal with professionals who take pride in their product anymore. Everyone is always chasing the buck and sacrificing quality and customer service along the way. NOT DIVIDEND HOMES! KC and Pete, I thank you for stepping up, you both make me proud to own a Dividend Home!
