The kitchen and dining room floor was not leveled with the rest of the house, so James and his crew had to tear out the old floors and install plywood before installing the new floors to ensure that the new floors are leveled. We are completely satisfied with our new beautiful floors. 2. Install baseboard and chair rail. *Finishing is an art.* James has incredible attention to detail. He ensured that each baseboard fit perfectly, even the baseboards that hugged the kitchen cabinets, fit underneath the dishwasher and the spaces between the wall and door trim. He ensured that we were happy with the end results. 3. Brick up the old fireplace. James is a mason and his experience in this department showed. Transformed old fireplace into a plain wall. 4.
