This place is very unprofessional. The lady did my eyebrows and completely ruined it - left brow was much thinner than the right one. I confronted her and she said she does not see a difference. I asked her colleague if he sees a difference. He told her there is a big difference on the brows. She got upset with him. She never apologized and kept arguing. This place is convenient because next door to the giant Patel Bros. This way I could make one trip, pick up all the Indian grocery essentials, and get my eyebrows done! The place is bigger than I imagined and also quite clean. Two ladies were working. I was the only one waiting, and it ended up being about 15-20 minutes. As soon as I sat down (left chair) the lady looked at my brows and said: "wow...too much growth"... lol, yes I have thick eyebrows. Nice to meet you too. Either way, she understood what I was looking for and did a great job with threading. It definitely hurt more than other places I've been to, but it took less than 15 minutes. For only $7 it's not bad at all! They really appreciate tips as well. read more

I am highly disappointed and mostly mad at myself for thinking I'd be safe trying a new eyebrow place. Lesson learned ... the hard way. I came in to an empty place, though it's a week day and around lunch time. I asked how much the threading is for brows ($5) sat down and the lady started her work. I am terrible at maintaining them usually so I went in with full brows as the last time I went to my usual person in park ridge was over a month ago. She took a bit longer than I'm used to but I figured she's just being thorough or my brows just needed a lot of clean up. WELL little did I know once she was done and handed me the mirror I saw the damage that was done and knew there's no turning back. She basically messed up my arches, removed a huge area that was NOT meant to be touched leaving me with the most horrifying brow work I have seen yet. mind you the last place that I hated for brows burned the crap out of me from wax being too hot. This was somehow worse than that. This is the best part- instead of owning the mistake, the girl kept saying my hair was so light and my hair is thin and started to explain about the arches and points to the top of my brow. Take a look at my pics and tell me how in the world you can even try to talk your way out of this! That was ridiculous and unacceptable. Had she apologized and admitted her mistake at the beginning, I likely would've been less upset. The moment she tried to steer away from blame was when I grew ten times more angry. Wow. I have no nice things to say at this point. Management offered a tint. I was reluctant to even bother but let them go ahead. Yea, the tint did nothing and actually probably brought out the mistake even more. They told me to come back in two weeks when it grows back- I think that would be a NO. As a place that is exclusively focused on threading brows, one would hope mistakes this drastic would not happen, silly me to have thought that things would go well here. This is for the Niles location, since they don't seem to have an account claimed yet on Yelp. I've been going there since March '22 and was content with finally finding a reliable place that doesn't mess up my eyebrows. However, I won't be returning to the Nile's location after experiencing attitude from the older lady. Mind you, I've been getting my eyebrows done by her the whole time. When I got there this evening, she was with a client and told me she can't take me because she needs a lunch break and hasn't had one yet and asked me to come back 20 min later. I went to Patel Brother's and ran another errand to kill that much time to give her a lunch break. When I returned, she gave me attitude about how I came too late and she's with another client who's getting a facial done and she can't take me. I proceeded to say that she told me to come back in 20 min- she cut me off and said no that was at 5:40 and it's now 6:15 pm. Like jeez woman, I gave you time to eat and not scarf your food down. You could've said what you said in a more professional and nicer way, especially considering that I've been your client for 9 months. These women should treat their clients like clients professionally, not like their daughters or relatives that they can scold with attitude. read more

Dharmesh gave me horrible short hair cut. I specifically asked him to cut my hair straight shoulder length. when he asked why straight I specifically said that i want to grow my hair even since the last person gave me haircut have added so much layers. I want to keep it straight and not shorter than shoulder length. now what is here to not understand. he still went ahead and cut my hair very short, now when he was cutting it i mentioned i don't want it less than shoulder length, I also mentioned that my hair length should be that long so i can do a pony tail. after the haircut this stupid guy showed me about 1 and half inch long pony and said see you will have a pony. seriously every time i look at my hair I'm pissed at him. I wasn't going to give this review but this horrible haircut makes me so mad. now this is for him to understand that when a client comes to him for haircut do it as per their wish. somehow he doesn't want to listen to your concerns, he will cut your hair how he wants. now this hair will take more than a year to grow at least to my shoulder, somehow he doesn't gets this struggle. currently my longest hair is about 5-6 inch. I don't know about long hair but don't ever go to him for short haircut. read more

Streamwood Walmart does a better job save yourself the trouble. Went in today and asked to keep them as thick as possible and in the lady's words not mine, "just clean up?" Which was exactly what I wanted. I loved my shape and they looked the exact same for once so I agreed. Only to realize when the lady was done she took too much underneath my left eyebrow and even left some stray hairs. She also damaged the skin underneath which now has a small cut. Very sloppy and my eyebrows are worse than what I walked in with!!! Why didn't I just pluck them at home?! I regret coming here. Only came here cause it was close to my work when I should've just made the drive to Walmart. Like honestly... Walmart??? The salon inside Walmart does a better job???? You bet they do! (and come to think of it I think they may have some type of reward system too but don't quote me.) NEVER AGAIN. I called them not long after to get my money back. Once I returned, the girl at the register tried giving me my $5 back but I corrected her and told her I wanted my tip back as well. DO NOT COME HERE. I came here for eyebrow threading and tinting 2 days before my wedding. The entire experience was horrible. The lady who did my eyebrows cut me with the thread about half a dozen times. I told her she was hurting me and she just said I was sensitive. When she gave me the mirror to look at my brows they were bleeding in 6 different places. She pretended it was fine and told me I have sensitive skin. I could not believe what I was looking at, it looked like a bloody mess. On top of the pain that she caused me I was terrified I would get an infection from all the cuts. My make up artist was horrified the day of my wedding and asked me who butchered me. Thankfully she was able to hide the damage that was done with make up. read more

An awful experience!!!!! I went in to get my eyebrows done today and girl name Ankita messed up my one eyebrow completely, she made it too thin and when i m telling her she did it, she goes no no i just cleaned up and thats how yours was. What made me more upset is at first she was not even accepting what she had done and not even aplogizing. I told her i can show my picture from day before and my eyebrow wasnt like this. And then she aplogized. The manager/owner is also has poor customer service. She came out and said sorry but charged me full amount anyways.
