I am extremely disappointed by my most recent visit here…read more I bought a groupon for a gel manicure (as I have in the past) and nothing stopped me buy buying it. As I am in the middle of getting my nails done I mention that I have the groupon and the nail tech Chanel and she informs me that I cannot use that groupon since I bought one and used it in the past....Are you kidding me? You are in the middle of doing my nails!! For quality customer service I would have expected her to say something along the lines of "I can except it this time but for next time..." I would have been fine with that. If I am not allowed to use the groupon then why was it available for purchase again? That is the companies problem and not mine.

Visit Date: April 15, 2021…read more I've been here twice to see Kaitlyn so far. It's a far drive for me but I drive a lot anyway and as long as I can manage a vacation day when I see her at least for coloring I can continue to come back to her. The first time she did my hair she did a shaggy bob and recolored it for me. She didn't want to damage my hair so much so she went with a purple color, my hair goes back and forth between pink and purple depending on the level of fading. On my most recent visit yesterday she did a longer pixie because I was debating back and forth between keeping the shaggy bob or going with a pixie. I love the longer pixie and may end up keeping it at least for a few months. Kaitlyn is awesome with hair. She's only at the salon currently on a part time basis, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. I loved what she's done so far during both of my visits and definitely recommend booking with her if you come to Shear Imagination.

Their prices are really unbeatable and all the girls who work there are really sweet and so personable. The new owner of the salon is really nice and always works with me. I usually go to Holly who works there- she trims my hair exactly how I want it. I've been to salons where I say that I want just a trim and they take matters into their own hands and chop off 3 inches because they said my hair needed it. Frankly I don't care what they think my hair needs, just do what I ask you to do! Holly every time gives me exactly what I ask for and she blows my hair out with so much volume I just love it. I go to her for up-do's also! I really love this salon, it's close to me and a really nice personal experience.

I'm a guy who grew up in the seventies and my hair needs are pretty simple . I've tried places on the low end which were hit and miss . I swore off barbers when some kid with a backwards Oakland A'S hat , gave me a haircut out of Full Metal Jacket. I've tried high end places where you can get a master stylist , a glass of wine or gourmet coffee and an Italian cookie , but I don't want to have to increase my credit limit just to get a haircut . So I read review after review and finally found my holy grail of Hair Salons,Renaissance hair. The salon is classy , but the reason for the review is Rachel, who just killed it with my hair cut . Told her what I was looking for and she went to work . A haircut , with scissors ,not a razor with my initials carved into the side of my head . Then she told me one side of my hair lied one way , one side another , told me about two cow licks , I mean like a haircut professor . Plus a chill personality to boot . Give it a try , you'll be sold as I was .

I was also told they don't guarantee hair color and asked how long it has been. Once I informed the lady it was 3 week after she then said they only guarantee for 2 weeks. Don't understand how the story changed once I said how long it was. Then she continued to yell saying I got what I paid for and she isn't dealing with it then hung up one me.
