I have dark hair and I had asked for some light brown caramel highlights for the summer time the first time I went, unfortunately I had to go back and get my hair color fixed up, also not free of charge. My hair started to turn yellow a few days later and she told me it was because of the shampoo I use. She fixed it and it came out nice, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and this past weekend I went back to get some brown added to my hair for the fall season and she turned my hair ORANGE when I asked for a brown. I told the buisness owner I wasn't happy with the results in the most respectful way and even told her I would just like half a refund back and she couldn't admit what she did wrong. She kept going back and fourth with me and trying to tell me the brown she gave me was "obviously going to look orange" and how there was miscommunication between us when all I did was show her a picture of the color brown I wanted. Clearly miscommunication wasn't the problem when this isn't the first time she messed up my hair. She offered for me to come back because it was an "easy fix" but why would I go back when this is the second time she screwed up my hair color!!!! Absolutely upsetting, I love helping out small business's but it's very hard too especially when owners of business's don't take their clients into consideration at all. Very unprofessional and I don't recommend anyone going there, because if you do you will have to go back more then ones and spend your time and more money for her to get it right.

**This rating is for the deva cut itself, not the service** it's been seven months since I got my…read morehaircut and although I liked how my hair appeared when initially styled, it looked horrible once I washed and styled it myself. Curls are springier but my hair looks and feels a lot thinner than it did before I cut it. I don't like how I still have a short, triangular top layer with a bottom layer that goes inward, giving it a mushroom-like appearance. The right side of my hair is not only thin to the point where I can see through my layer, it's noticeably shorter than the left. I regret getting a deva cut because I'll now need to spend twice the time growing it out in hopes of fixing my hair and re-trimming/cutting it. Michelle is great at what she does, but this cut definitely wasn't for me.

I was both impressed (I mean that's gotta be a record!?) and upset. While I didn't want the additional services, no one was waiting so I'm not sure why there was such a rush to get me out of the chair. I myself was about 10 minutes late but was rudely told to get a color first when I was in the door no less than 30 seconds. I've seen reviews of the owner and unfortunately they ring true. The woman doing my nails could not have cared less if she tried. While she was sweet she was not attentive and this was the most stressful pedicure I've ever had. She didn't roll my pant legs all the way up, didn't drain the water while she was painting my toes, and was barely seated before she asked if I could pay now. I don't frequent nail salons as much anymore just for the occasional pedicure for a special event but I've noticed a decline in service here for a while now and it's sad to see. Care and attention to clients is so important and I hate to sound like an old lady, but I do expect more when I have an early appointment on a weekday and no one is waiting.
