As a person who works in customer service, I would NEVER charge a different price than what was quoted. As for the highlights, they were just ok. I felt they came out to brassy looking and not nearly as blonde as they should have been. The actuall haircut...THE WORST!! For about a month I had trouble doing my hair until it started growing again. Lesson learned.....don't go to a place like Headcutters for highlights and a haircut that has some style to it.

My stylist also took to criticizing my hair and my cowlick "for my age," not something I needed to hear in a beauty salon. After the second refusal to cut my hair the way I wanted it, I moved on. I have found another place that I am happy with. It's a good salon for certain kinds of clients, but not for me. I'm going to a barber, who doesn't have hurtful commentary on my age.
