For a treat, my friend and I went to Diva Nails for a pedicure and gel manicure respectively. While I made scheduled appointments, they sat her on time and me 30 minutes after my appointment. In the moment, I didn't mind as we gabbed away until someone was available, but it was odd. A week after my gel manicure the polish edges lifted and two weeks later more fingers are unpolished than polished. Perhaps it was a one time fluke but I'm willing to try then again. read more

I was excited to find a nail salon that I thought was a quality salon. I was happy with my first visit which I had my nails and a pedicure done. Before leaving, I scheduled another nail and pedicure appointment as well as a lip and brow wax. The manager told me he was going to be short handed but would definitely make it work. He would have my waxing done before my nail and pedicure. When I came in for my next appointment, the manager had them immediately get started on my nails and pedicure. When they were done, I asked the manager what about the waxing? He was abrupt and said that they couldn't do my waxing. I was upset because of the way he handled the situation. I was in need of a pedicure so badly and this place was able to me in right away. I always call nail salons ahead of time to schedule my appointment to avoid any extensive wait times. This is my first ever yelp review which should say something about how nice this salon is! They got me in on short notice and the receptionist was very friendly. I have super sensitive hands and usually dread getting my gel off because it hurts me, this was the first gel removal that I didn't feel at all! Bruce was super gentle, professional and did a dip overlay on a nail that had a slight break to save the nail and prevent it from any further breakage. My nails look great and I will be back! It took me forever to find time to go and get them done and they looked great when I did but I paid for powder on my nails and they are chipped and look awful in a week today. I gave them 3 stars bc I usually have a good experience when I get my nails done, but today I went to get a pedicure, and wasn't impressed. I asked for the callus pedicure. First of all, the woman gave me the paper describing all the pedicures and I chose the callus one and then she hands it back to me and asks if I want the more expensive one. If she was any good, maybe I'd go back for the better one, but this was subpar. The callus one is $35, so I expected it be rly nice, but the whole thing took 30 min, which is less time than most regular pedicures. Also, when she was massaging my legs and feet, I barely felt it. It was like she was just rubbing it. She was too busy staring at the person next to me. Idk what that was about, but I was annoyed I spent twice the amount of money, and got a crappy pedicure. The first time I came here they tried to charge me $100 for a nails set that looked like my 2 year old did, the nails literally had cracks in them. And I just recently got my lashes done by Cindy. HORRIBLE!!! She did a hybrid set on me thats was supposed to be a full volume set (which is what I asked for anyway) , did not put lashes on my inner corners, only 2 and they were so separated you could see the gap. And charged me $150!!! I'm a lash artist my self and every step she took was WRONG! She puts individual lash extensions on 3 of my natural lashes at a time, causing discomfort and tugging. That's how her sets are so quick because she's just throwing them on your lashes, I doubt she's actually isolating. My eye got extremely red and swollen. It's only been 4 days and most of my lashes are gone. Your lashes are supposed to last 2-3 weeks , 2 weeks minimum!!!! Then I tried to go back and explain why I didn't like them and she just brushed me off, didn't even come out to Tlk to me and had her coworker come to tell me someone else would be fixing HER problem! Very unprofessional! And VERY damaging to your natural lashes. If you are looking to get your lashes done do not come here. Worst place to come to. Worst experience!
