She did the exact opposite of what we wanted (I wanted a round face and fluffy body and she did short snout and cut them too much on the body). She messed up both their faces and bodies. I would think after a few sessions with the same dogs, it'd consistent, yet she still butchered their groom. I understand she is probably very busy, but there's simply no excuse for charging a high price and providing bad grooms. I expressed my frustration and she wasn't very receptive. The top things we look for when continuing to use a groomer is, low stress, not disoriented, ( believe it or not, a place in Bakersfield, gave our dog back as if she was given medication to calm her, without asking or informing us) NOT the case with Dee!! Other things we look at are, Obvious and obsessive cuts on the body, good nail clipping and filling, timing. And over all when your dog comes back to you happy and energetic, it makes it all worth it. Dee was also great to communicate with. She responded quick and a beautiful attitude once we met. Was flexible with our schedule, we did drive to her since we live in wasco but, due to her being flexible, we where able to schedule a trip to Bakersfield and get other errands done while the puppies got groomed. I had to seek another groomer. Unfortunately, the new groomer was in a camper with her own pets (maybe had fleas?) after grooming my pups had a bad case of fleas. I hadn't left a review at the time because of how upsetting my experience was. I'll keep it short, my dog's nipple was cut and bleeding as if no guard was used on the clippers. I understand haircuts won't always be perfect, but her sanitary area was shaved too short and the overall cut was uneven. When I picked her up, I didn't see she was bleeding until I saw blood on her bed. After I notified the owner, she suggested that my dog did it to herself (even though she can't reach that nipple and she was wearing a cone when she got home) and then suggested that it looked like a hickey (extremely bizarre comment to make). I know my dog well and how well she does when she visits groomers. Every groomer before and after her visit at Going Mutts has always said she is well behaved and have no issues while cutting her hair. Anyway, Going Mutts ended up refunding me for the grooming which I appreciated.

We needed somewhere reliable and appropriate for our dogs. This place is awesome. Like many others said, we came and took a tour of the facility and didn't even have to make an appointment. Everyone of the staff was amazing and Kiwi seemed to like it (she is cranky at times). We will be using these folks for a long time to come. We even tried the self serve spa and our dog Bailey never felt so soft. Her coat was glowing after we just came from the dog park. We're from out of town but we travel in and make this our stop every time. They have helped assist us with getting our dogs familiar with different foods with the samples we get. We get to see what our dogs like and don't like before we commit to it. You don't find that kind of service anywhere else, and it's really nice because it's all dog safe instead of trying to take it into your own hands of trying Google.
