What else do you guys do besides grooming and take care of animals while their owners are out of town ? do you guys train or potty train puppies?

We don’t do grooming but we transport to the groomers and the veterinarians or grandmas house. We do in-house pet sitting where we make visits to your house to take care of your animals. We also do pet walking. Unfortunately, due to the amount of… Read more

I can't say enough about the entire team at the VCA Bakersfield Harris rd. location. From start to…read morefinish, the customer service was exemplary. We were dealing with an emergency situation with our 18-year-old fur baby, and they went above and beyond to help make sure we could get in when we needed it most. Everyone we encountered was kind, professional, and compassionate during such a difficult time. A special thank you to Dr. Blair (I hope I'm spelling the name correctly), who delivered the inevitable bad news with such care and understanding. As heartbreaking as the situation was, Dr. Blair gave us the facts we needed in a way that was honest, gentle, and not overwhelming. That compassion made an incredibly painful moment a little easier to process. I hope you get to see her when you have to visit the hospital...Otherwise I hope you never have to take your pet to any hospital. We are so grateful for the support, empathy, and dignity they showed both our pet and our family. Thank you Dr. Blair for helping us move forward with love and clarity during one of the harder moments we will face. Last note : Arrive early for any walk ins. We arrived at 730 and were the last to be seen.Luckily we arrived as the last walk in this day..

Dr. Takata shared her findings from lab work and ultrasound which showed our dog was not clotting, had a dangerously low blood count, and an opaque bladder ultrasound. Possible cancer. We made the difficult decision to stop treatment and say goodbye to our girl. They were caring throughout the process. I imagine it is difficult for the staff as well as us. Thank you Dr. Takata and the staff at VCA.

I cannot say enough good things about Stine Veterinary Hospital. I rescued a sweet dog who had been…read moredumped and was in urgent need of emergency eye surgery. Our first experience at another vet was heartbreaking -- we were met with long hours of waiting, very little compassion, and no real sense of urgency. After leaving the first vet, I called Stine in tears, feeling completely defeated and overwhelmed. The receptionist was incredibly calming, caring, and compassionate. Just that phone call alone gave me hope -- and when we arrived, that feeling only grew stronger. From the moment we walked in, they immediately recognized how serious her condition was and made room to see her. The team acted quickly and performed the surgery to remove her eye, giving her the relief and care she desperately needed. Every single person we encountered was truly kind, patient, and compassionate. They took the time to explain everything clearly, and the discharge instructions were easy to understand, which meant so much during such an emotional time. You can genuinely tell the ladies there love what they do and care deeply about the animals and the people who love them. Because of this experience, I will be bringing all of my dogs here from now on -- even though it means commuting from far away. Stine Veterinary Hospital restored my faith in veterinary care, and I am beyond grateful for what they did for my rescue girl.
