Unprofessional, rude, uncooperative. Stay away…read more Please be patient with this review, as context is important. I have sleep apnea, untreatable by CPAP. My medical doctor recommended an appliance that you wear at night, like a retainer, that adjusts your jaw forward to open air passages. It is prescribed as medical, but has to be fulfilled by a dentist. My dentist is not able to bill medical and referred me to DHS. When I called, they made an appointment to see the dentist. I assumed it would be for a fitting, but she said it was to 'check my mouth." Seemed like a waste of time for both of us, but OK. When I got there we talked about the device, and recommended I waited until he got the approval from medical. I validated that I had all the correct paperwork, and a recent sleep study and X-rays. This conversation could all be done by phone, but, again, OK. Then he said that as long as I was there he might as well take a look at my mouth. I told him I already had a dentist I was happy with, and was just here for the appliance. The next day I got a call from his office. The doctor said this was "not a good doctor patient fit, "and that I should go elsewhere. Elsewhere not to include any of the other DHS offices. I was floored. I asked why, and she kept repeating the phrase over and over again, "not a good doctor patient fit." I asked if I had something, if he didn't have time, if he preferred I move all dental business to that office. Do you call that a satisfactory answer? After 3 days of searching for another un-network dental office that could make the device and bill medical, I finally found one. All of their requirements need to be done online. I emailed DHS to ask if they would forward all the info they got from my doctor to me. No response.the next day I repeated the request - no response. Then I asked if they would do me the courtesy of at least respond whether they could or could not. Rude, unprofessional, uncooperative. Those are the three words that first pop into my mind.I still have no idea what the problem was. I don't know what their standard density practices are like, but this is not a business I would entrust my teeth with.

I am a bit concerned about their prices, they charge $49 for the fluoride treatment, every other dentist I've been to across the three states I've received care in has charged $19. The fluoride was the same, the price was $30 more which does worry me about what their prices are like outside of what is covered by insurance. When I brought up this huge discrepancy, other dentist in the area and asked why there was a difference. They were unable to fluoride treatments cost more here. When I asked about booking my next cleaning, I was told they didn't have availability until way later in the year and that I would need to call back to get an appointment so I could use my two free cleanings per year. The staff was great, my main concern is price gouging especially when the services are the same.

The office is beautiful! Very up to date and cozy. When I was brought back, I happily sat down in the chair, because it has massagers built into it! I really could not recommend Byce & Worman more! P.S. Dr. Pawelski is where it's at.

They don't waste money on a fancy waiting room, but their X-ray equipment at every chair is top of the line and way more comfortable / less invasive than my old fancy dentist. They have smart TVs at every chair so you can watch literally anything while they work on your teeth. I never felt any pain while I got a ton of cavities filled, a tooth extraction, and a dental bridge. Despite being a high volume clinic, they are EXTREMELY accommodating, nonjudgmental, and friendly as ever even when they are swamped. They remember who I am even after several months in between appointments. I am 24 and the dental hygienist holds my hand during the numbing process because they are just really, really caring despite being so busy. I have been seeing Dr. Nik Choudhary and I highly recommend him! He's fast and doesn't make a lot of small talk, but my dental work looks great, and most importantly it was all completely painless. The dental hygienist (her name starts with a C I think?) is always an angel. I can't applaud Bright Dental enough for creating such an inclusive and helpful atmosphere for EVERYONE who needs a healthy mouth. I spent years and years avoiding the dentist but no more! As a fellow healthcare worker, I can tell their priority is to genuinely help as many people as they can, and I have never felt like profit is their goal. They have worked with me financially and they are known for taking same-day walk-ins, dental emergencies, and patients with no insurance. THEY ALSO TAKE BADGERCARE and are open on Saturdays :)

At my first appointment, I came in specifically for a root canal consultation, but the staff seemed unaware of that and instead performed a full exam. I then waited nearly two hours before being seen, only to have a very brief (about 5-minute) interaction where I was told they would need prior authorization. About a week later, I was informed the root canal was approved. However, when I returned on May 1, 2026, I was told that while the root canal was approved, the crown was not--and they weren't even sure the dentist would proceed without a crown plan in place. I was then told the crown would cost $900 out of pocket. As someone with Medicare and Medicaid, that simply wasn't feasible. Eventually, the dentist agreed to proceed, but there was still no clear plan for a crown, which caused me significant anxiety. When I asked about alternatives, I was told they could remove the existing filling, drill out the infection underneath, and place a new filling. I agreed to that option. From there, the experience only worsened. I waited another 30 minutes while the dentist appeared to be juggling multiple patients at once. When it came time for numbing, I specifically asked for topical numbing gel beforehand. Although a technician briefly applied it, the dentist immediately began injecting Novocaine without allowing it time to take effect. The injections were extremely painful, and I received multiple shots. The procedure itself was also very uncomfortable, but I felt I had no choice but to endure it to get through the appointment. To make matters worse, I was scheduled for a follow-up appointment, but when I later called to confirm, I was told I wasn't even in their system. Overall, this experience felt disorganized, rushed, and unnecessarily painful. I will not be returning.

He has the highest skill level for technique and results. He is thorough and comprehensive in his examination and treatment. At first I was like, "wait, what? I've been getting regular care right along- how can there be so many issues that need to be addressed?" And then he started fixing them and I was like, wow, so that's how my mouth could have, (and should have been)! I've always feared and dreaded the front teeth upper gum and pallet novacaine shot, because it's a lot worse than a "pinch." But not with Dr. Jon. His technique gave me more of a slow pressure, not a painful pinch, which amazed me. And somehow he dialed in the exact amount- I had no pain at all, yet when I was done, my upper lip and nose didn't feel like I'd been punched, there was just a slight tingle that went away very shortly. The office staff is also great- appointments were handled with skill, multiple options, and accuracy. I am always greeted with warmth and friendliness, especially by Kayla. I'm just guessing here, but there might be a rule that only nice, pretty women are allowed to work there, I'm joking yet it seems to fit the observable facts. I am very glad I switched, my only hesitation in writing this review is that he'll get even more busy and it will be tougher to find an opening in the future... Still, my highest recommendation.

I require two annual regular cleanings plus two annual perio cleanings, alternated every three months. Last year I was told that my regular cleaner was now booked for almost a year out so my regular schedule was no longer definite, so I was scheduled two months later with a "substitute" and had to move my perio cleaning forward to accommodate this. I had never had a problem with my perio cleanings, being scheduled every six months. As to my regular cleanings, today (April 8, 2025) might have been the last straw, and I am not heartless, but my regular cleaner cancelled our appointment while I was in transit (an hour trip through detours and roadwork) and I was told on arrival that my next regular cleaning could be scheduled with a "substitute" in June. I then had to cancel my perio cleaning for June, and, long story shorter, I am not at all happy. Turns out my perio cleaner is also fully booked, so good luck me. At my initial consultation , I did decide to have a dental implant placed. Kim in the business office was extremely helpful in examining my insurance and letting me know what the cost would be at the time of the procedure. Today was the date for my procedure. I was greeted promptly and signed necessary forms. Emily and Meredith took me to the procedure room where they hooked me up to various monitors since I was going to have sedation for the extraction. My doctor is Kim Pansegrau, DDS,MD and he provided me with IV sedation. Within seconds he proceeded with the procedure and I have zero recollection of any of the mechanics of the work. And when done, unhooked me from the monitors and put me in a wheelchair and took me to the recovery area, where I spent about fifteen to twenty minutes. Mason checked my vitals and when I was ready to go , explained the medications I needed to take and the precautions I needed to use. When ready he put me in a wheelchair and rolled me outside to the car where my wife was waiting to take me home. The whole experience was very efficient and in my mind flawless. I had zero discomfort and quickly resumed ability to walk and eat since the anesthesia was not so overwhelming. I am so thankful to the doctor and his very able assistants. Not only is this doctor highly recommended but the whole office staff made the experience which I was so nervous about a very benign affair.
