Dr Andersen and crew have always been friendly and professional. They provide wonderful care. At 68 years old, I've been to a number of dentists over the years. Dr Andersen and staff are the best! I'd like to add that yesterday an old crown that had been placed by a prior dentist fractured and chipped off. I called Artisan Dental last evening to see if I could get in today. I got a return call at 7:15 this morning, was in their chair at 9 AM, and was done with a new crown at 11:15 AM. Thank you so much Rochelle, Dr Rehermann, and Cassie for such speedy, kind, and professional service. I have no idea how people could have had negative experiences. After going at least twice a year for 8 years, I've always been treated exceptionally well. Unless you can re-arrange your life expect to be several months out--as in at the time of your next cleaning. As a professional myself if I have to late cancel someone due to unforeseen circumstances I make sure to go above and beyond to accommodate a re-schedule that is convenient for the person because I value the time they set aside. I guess I should always remember that not everyone has that same level of professionalism.

Someone who was always pleasant and professional in the few years after I started my care, was unexpectedly rude, argumentative, defensive, and combative. My requests for care were continually ignored and when I tried to discuss my issues this past week, I was met with a combative conversation with a lack of proper record keeping and lack of care or understanding for my situation. The red flags have been popping up for some time, and this was the final incident. High turnover and temporary employees, lack of other patients in the building at prime office hours, and the off putting demeanor of both doctors is unacceptable and a sign that the office is not at the caliber that it should be. This hygienist tried to tell me I have poor dental health, need extensive cleaning and antibiotics, fillings, and sealants amounting to about $1000. They refused to do a routine cleaning saying that I needed a special deep clean. She even exclaimed "uh oh" while doing my gum exam, so unprofessional. My gums hurt the rest of the day because she pushed and poked so hard. That has never happened to me at any other dental appointment. All of this seemed totally out of no where since I am young, and have seen a regular dentist every 6 months my entire life. Anyway, I left and didn't even get a routine cleaning. I went and got a second opinion at my regular dentist and they agreed that is all unnecessary and over the top. I do not have any cavities, I do not need filings or a deep clean, no antibiotics necessary. My regular dentist said I have great teeth and am doing a great job. Four Lakes Family Dentistry really felt like a scam and the hygienist and dentist made me feel really awful, like I hadn't been taking care of my teeth at all and that is not the case.
