Heaven for Disney pin traders or Disney pin collectors. You can find all your favorite pins here, even ones they sell inside the park. You can often find your limited edition pins here, and sometimes it's one of the very last places to still have them after all the stores have sold out of them. It is a blessing to have this store right out in Downtown Disney so you don't have to go inside the parks to find your favorite pin. It is a bit on the smaller side, but they pack pins in racks outside of the store. I like that they organize them here; they have a whole rack just of Stitch and another of just Winnie the Pooh. I think that's amazing because you can find all your favorites in one spot. This was also one of the few spots that had the trading cards. Such a great store if you're looking for pins. I had gone to the World of Disney where I debated buying some certain pin series. I couldn't commit in the moment and left without purchasing. When I went back later that day every packet was gone for both series. I was so bummed but wanted to see if Pin Traders had any and they did! Quite a few of them too! Pins... lots of pins! If you're a pin collector or pin trader, you have to make a stop here and add more pins to your collection. I came into Downtown Disney to check out the Disney 100 Platinum pins and there was so many to choose from at this shop. The shop itself is not large but it had lots of merchandise. I spent about 15 minutes browsing the pins on all the stands before deciding to go to World of Disney to buy my pins and shop for clothes. Besides pins, they also sold Mickey and Minnie ears here. They are located next to the Star Wars store. I recommend coming to this shop if you're trying to avoid the crowd and you want to take your time to browse. The World of Disney has a great selection of pins too but it's busy and the checkout lines are long. read more

Cute pins! Sadly I don't think pins are appreciated as much anymore. At least not as much as they once were. I remember back in the day, pins were so cool. Everyone had to have pins on jackets, backpacks and things. But now you don't see this as much. Still the pins sold here are quite impressive. They have some really unique pins that are just flat out awesome. They seem to be reasonably priced- although I am no pin collector. So please correct me if I am wrong in this. Service is great here. A really cool kiosk that has been around downtown Disney for a really long time. They have all sorts of pins whether its retro, modern, Princess med, or Star Wars. There aren't price tags on the line and they do pricing by color. The cheapest pin is $11.99 and most expensive is $14.99 for the classic pins. The specialty goes up a tad more to $24.99+ My favorite part is the little display they have outdoors that allow you to trade pins for some new ones. It really keeps the nostalgia of pin trading alive and it's so fun watching everyone become nostalgic. read more

Located right by the monorail station in Downtown Disney and essentially right across from the Lego Store. This place is great for all your Disney pin needs if you're unable to get into the parks and/or you want to avoid a long checkout line at World of Disney. The majority of the exterior turnstiles are categorized by a movie or franchise (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, or Star Wars). The door panels usually hold blind boxes and booster sets. The pins inside are blind bags/boxes, limited edition pins, and the new releases. There are 2 registers, 1 inside and 1 outside. The register on the outside has the pin trading board, so make sure to stop by there at some point if you trade pins! Alright so I'm a bit of a crazy Disney pin collector. Last time I went to Pin Traders the year before in Orlando I wasn't very impressed by the selection so I initially wasn't expecting to find much here at the Anaheim location. But, I was wrong and I'm glad I was wrong! Even though the store front itself is much smaller compared to the Orlando location, there was so much more stuff that I wanted. I always have to stop to gaze at the pins. Even if I've looked at pins at the park or in stores throughout downtown Disney. It's always nice to stop and talk to the castmembers who are always super nice and helpful. If I want a pin and wasn't planning on going into either park, this is the perfect little place to run to. Whenever Disney releases a new limited edition pin this is the place it's available at first. They will start a line to the right of the hunt in the morning before the place opens try to keep everything orderly. Keep your wits about you in this place though, collectors can be some crazy mofos. One time I saw an old lady karate chop a 5 year old just to get her mitts on the last Frozen snowflake pin.. JK that didn't really happen, but I wouldn't be surprised.. Anyways, this place is located to the right of the monorail entrance in Downtown Disney, across the way from the Lego store. It's kind of a little hunt, with stands out front covered in pins and lanyards. They keep a pretty good stock of everything, more of the limited edition pins can be found here than any of the stores inside the parks so check here first if you're looking for a specific one. I really don't have any complaints other than the fact that the best pins are located inside the tiny hut which can get a BIT crowded because it's so small. Sometimes you have to wait for people to leave before you can shimmy your way inside to get a glimpse at the best stuffs. And then you have to find your way to the back of the lines playing the "are YOU in line?" game.. Oh well, hit them up to get your pin fix, it's the best spot. read more

One of the fun things about the Disney parks are the multitude of pins that attendees and fans wear around the ubiquitous lanyards that they can purchase throughout the resort. (Of course, some people go a wee bit overboard by decorating whole vests and hats with them - and given how pins range from $8 to at least $20 for the limited edition pins, that's a whole lotta dough!) Be that as it may, the Pin Traders kiosk at Downtown Disney has almost every pin you can think of that you may have missed at Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, or even the World of Disney store a couple of yards away. They're also the first stop of choice when the super limited edition pins become available... but according to a cast member we spoke to last month, the lines for them start very early in the morning and stretch past several stores. Not that worth it, if you ask me. Also, the staff have pins available for trade if you ask - but it depends on what's available to trade for. They won't trade if they already have the pin you possess (which makes sense). The Pin Traders has something else going in its favor that you won't see at the rest of the Disneyland parks - you can actually move around the kiosk rather freely! read more

This was definitely my preferred spot to shop for pins while on the Disneyland property. I collect enamel pins of different kinds (mostly pop culture-related because I'm so basic) and was excited when I learned quite a while ago that this was a thing with Disney. Given the fact that it's been roughly 20 years since I was anywhere near Anaheim, I had a lot of catching up to do when I shopped here about a week and a half ago. Their wide variety of product is neatly organized and you'll never wait long to be rung up because there are cashiers inside and out. I spent a small fortune here over the course of a few days and when I was finally brave enough to spring for some ~mystery pins~ I ended up getting some duplicates I was able to trade at the outside register. The quality of the pins they offer for trade is definitely different from the ones you purchase and I can't wager to guess why, but I got some pretty decent, almost vintage-looking ones when I traded twice in the span of about 5 minutes so I can't complain. FYI though - they took my new pins off and added different "older" ones between my visits so you may not always be getting the cream of the crop (though I think that's true at any trading station). I'll definitely come back to this spot to further expand my collection when I visit again. Plus, it's conveniently located next to a churro cart, so win-win. read more

This little hut gets 4 stars only because it sells my newest obsession - pins AND even sells limited edition ones. I just wish they would go ahead and expand the little area, because this hut can get busy to the point where you can't see every pin. They do try to have 2 cash register areas but since California weather is hot, hot, hot, everyone chooses the cash register line in the shade. You need patience of a Jedi when you're here. You will encounter fanatics who are buying tons of pins to resell on Ebay. It is to the point where they are at the cash register for more than 15 minutes trying to figure out which ones they want. What's surprising is the staff are so patient with these people. I commend them for not losing their cool and keeping a smile on their face. Blink and you'll miss this hut by the monorail station! I love stopping by Pin Traders when I'm at Downtown Disney! There are various pin collections to choose from, including: Disney Princesses, pins based on the different theme park lands, Star Wars, Marvel, and even pins honoring the man himself, Walt Disney! They also include starter packs (lol), which are sets of 6 pins and a lanyard that follows that starter pack's theme. These are usually $30 but when one pin costs an average of $10, it's a good deal. The one thing I like about buying pins here compared to World of Disney is there's more room to move around. I feel like the pin area at WoD is really tight and you have to reach over to get the pin you want. I'm a Disney Visa Cardholder so the exclusive pins are a fun perk! 2016's pin was R2-D2 and C-3PO; 2017's pin is Beauty and the Beast in their ballroom attire. The pin even slides! I highly recommend coming to Pin Traders if you're making a quick visit to Downtown Disney or you don't want to deal with the crowds at World of Disney's pin area. read more

Wasn't really keen into what pin trading was about nor have I ever heard of it...as I'm ashamed of that being a Disneyland frequent. So my wife's friend turned me on to this phenomenon and gave me 15 pins to get started. So I was geeked for weeks to get started and pick that special first lanyard to encapsulate in pins. BTW I am a Walt Life Box recipient (thank you wife) and I've received some super epic limited edition pins that are for those who have a Disney Visa but I get Limited edition pins simply because my wife subscribed. So in hindsight you dont neccessary need a Disney Visa to get Limited Exition pins (Sorry Disney)...but do get the Disney Visa cause the perks are the biz! Back on track again I got "the" lanyard and the "pin" and the fun begins. Rhe best part was strategically placing my pins.I have some many that when I walk around it sounds like Mr.T's chains clinging and ish! Anywho I just spent 12 hours at Disneyland today so let me conclude in saying if you plan on getting into pin trading get the lanyard that best represents you as well as the pins. But dont get pins that you're not willing to give up because reading means just that. Also learn the etiquette behind reading because there is one...and its paramount! Worst service I've ever had in Disneyland. This shop of pin traders in downtown Disney had great pins but Dari who was the cashier was terrible. What a nasty rude unsmiling representative if Disney. I walked up to the counter and not a word did she speak. No greeting no smile not even a hello. Is this how Disney trains their employees now? Her manager should know what a poor employee is and Dari was the worst. So very unpleasant and terribly rude when she spoke to me. Honestly I'm not just helping this but I'm contacting management to file a complaint. This couple took over 10 min trying to decide which pins they wanted out of 5. An employee by the name of Dana was the only register open at 10 pm. I told her I just wanted one Ursula Halloween pin. She said ok and continued to ignore me. I asked a guy that looked like a mgr... turned out to be a merchandise rep and he's like sorry I'm not the mgr. 15 min total and I left no pin. The woman could of rang me up for 1 pin as the couple was taking their time and I was next. Well I left with no pin and I won't be returning. A++++ service lol. read more

There are lots of LE's available and occasionally you'll find leftovers from Pin Trading Nights here. The selection is comparable to the bigger stores inside the parks.
