Shoddy services just trying to sell you tires the girl is sells specialist no matter what the case she will tell you your tread is low and you need new tires which in Woodbury you think most folks will just go with what they say well it doesn't if you need them or not she is gonna gist you into a purchase pushy sells I hate so much especially when you go there knowing what you want and need and that girl will just persistently make you feel like you have to get new tires. Back story wanting for 2 because the other still we're good for now maybe a little later but for now we had a appt for 2 we'll get there and she acted like we needed 4 when we knew what we needed from our mechanic well she acted like she would not take no and is very pushy and there work can be shabby my neighbor said she went to this discount tire and they did the same thing and when she declined the 4 tires when she got the car back 1 tire was completed flat well they took it back in the bay and said they found nails in the tire shady business just because they feel you the financial means.Welo my neighbor said she complained and they gave her 2 new tires besides the 2 she purchase.So upon there inspection they didn't notice the nails or they put them in the tire to constitute a reason to purchase 2more tire idk but there shady and pushy with there sells read more

Every single time I need tires, a check up on my tires etc I go to discount tire. Their service at this Woodbury location specifically is amazing. Every single person I have worked with listens, gives options and make sure to tell you about any additional discounts they can provide. I am always treated well and never talked down to (which as a woman is not always the case) big shout out to David and Sergio that have Been patient with me as I made some decisions on changing my tires to a different size. One of the tires on my SUV suddenly went flat. We took the tire off (Saturday morning) and called another tire place who said we could drop it off and they would have it done by end of the weekend. We drove to Discount Tire and arrived when they opened, they got us right in and started looking at it right away. Within 20 minutes they found the hole, patched it,etc and did not charge for the service. Highly recommend. read more

Here's the deal - the place is clean, the staff is overly pleasant and will do anything to earn your business, and their prices are generally better than any other shop in the area. So, why 3 stars? These guys couldn't balance a tire to save their life. Every time I leave here, I have to come back and have them balanced again - this has happened multiple times on multiple vehicles. And, I'm there again, as I recently had my car in for a rotation and balance...and the car now vibrates at 60mph. I'm not going back to Discount Tire to have them balanced again this time simply because I don't have time to play this game anymore. On Saturday my daughter brought her car here and Owen told her she had a huge nail on the back side of the tire! Couldn't be repaired and tried to stuff her into a $225.00 replacement tire. He didn't realize I was with her and I said we would go somewhere else. We did and there was no nail!!! I made a quick appointment online. My only slight annoyance is that the online system doesn't save your information if you have to go back to make corrections. I had to put in my personal information twice because of that. The in-store experience was great. From the knowledgeable front desk to the kind employee who handed me my paperwork - everything was as professional/courteous as I've come to expect from Discount Tires -- and more! Arrived close to closing (6pm). Joe was super patient with the tire selection and asked the right questions in regards to my driving conditions. Instead of having my Michelin tires I opted for the GT Radial (since I'm not driving this vehicle in the winter). The price for the Michelin was $1,600 (60,000 mile tread-wear) and the new GT Radial was $600 (60,000 mile tread-wear)-that's a good smart deal and I didn't even feeI I was being sold tires from a Sales person, it felt like a honest friend selling an honest deal for the right reasons for the customer-never felt rushed or pushed to make a decision. I learned the hard way that I need to rotate my tires. A few years ago the steel belted radial was actually starting to show on some tires that we had. So I started doing some research on tires and places to purchase tires. I settled on Discount Tire. This is the place that has the commercials about if you don't like their tires you can return them by throwing them through their window. Wouldn't that be fun to do even if it was just once? We ended up purchasing tires for our car from Discount Tire. One of the real benefits is that when you purchase tires from Discount Tire, they offer free lifetime rotations. Yes. We have had this service done at several of their locations throughout the metro area. They recently opened a new location in Woodbury which I visited one morning on my way to work. I had an 8:15am appointment and arrived a few minutes before they opened. A few minutes before 8am they open the door and welcome the waiting customers outside. Wow, opening early. We were greeted by a friendly employee who helped me get checked in. In about 30 minutes I had my tires rotated, a check on the tread wear for my tires (do you think they know what happened before) a nice explanation on tire life and back in my car on my way to work. Not bad. They have coffee and a little fridge of water for you to enjoy while you wait. I didn't even finish my coffee. I was so impressed I made an appointment for the next weekend to get the tires replaced on my boat trailer. This time I pulled right up to one of their doors and they came out and changed the tires and replaced the spare in no time flat. Nice pun, huh? Ok, keeping my day job. I ordered new tires online and set up an installation within a week. I was extremely disappointed to see that 3 out of 4 wheels were scratched after installation. With black wheels the silver scratches really stuck out. I called them the next day and Aaron was extremely understanding and more than willing to make things right. He scheduled for the wheels to be powder coated within the week and told me if I was unhappy with the results that they would replace them. They even went as far to fix all 4 and one had significant road rash prior them installing tires. Mistakes happen but these guys are great people who are willing to do whatever they need to do to make things right. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this location. Discount Tire has never disappoint. This Woodbury location is a brand new location. With typical Discount Tire layout. I hit a pothole and both of my left tires had bulges on the sidewall. I needed new tires anyway, and used their Discount Tire Direct website which has more selection as well as affordable options as well. Called Discount Tire and they were able to price match the tire price that was listed and order the tires to be shipped. 3 days later, they called saying the tires arrived and I was able make an appointment or walk in. First of all, I've been shopping at Discount Tire for years and overall, I highly recommend them. We usually go to the Maplewood location, but the Woodbury location was significantly less busy yesterday so we stopped here instead. I just bought a used RWD car, and after taking it to the pre-purchase inspection yesterday I drove straight here to have winter tires put on. The guys ordered tires from another store and still had my car done by close, which was pretty impressive. However, when they called to tell me the car was ready, they asked if I wanted to keep the old tires. I said yes, as the mechanic from my pre-purchase inspection just that morning had said they were good for another summer. When I arrived to pick up my car half an hour later, I was told my old tires had been thrown away (!) as they were in "pretty bad shape" and I was charged the customary $12 fee for recycling them. Pretty disappointed with their dishonesty. I will not be returning to this location, and I advise folks in the area to try Maplewood instead. It's busier, but perhaps this is why, and it's worth the wait to not have an expensive mistake like this made. Or, if you do come here, do NOT leave the premises while they work on your vehicle if you want to keep your summer tires. read more

I left another local tire location after being told I had no choice but to purchase 4 tires (not just one like I had requested and could afford). This other place told me I had no choice and that I would be told the same thing elsewhere. I called and explained the situation to discount tire and they told me to bring in the car. They were honest and helpful and did not treat me as if I were clueless. They met my needs and more so! I completely recommend and will absolutely come back here. First, I've been a customer of DT Woodbury for some time. Good deals, for sure. But customer service is not their strong suit. Last year, I waited 4 hours beyond the 2 hour wait time they quoted to install a set of tires. But I tried again last week. Called at 9am and ordered a new set of tires, and was told to come in by 2pm that day and they should be there, and they could install right away. I arrived at 2pm, paid my ticket, and was THEN told I'd have to wait 6-8 hours and might want to leave the car. They agreed to put me on their waiting list, but was warned that they were still taking walk-ins, so I might get pushed back. THAT'S SO WRONG...put off a paid, waiting customer so they can take in new walk-ins! I called at 6pm and they told me they would get me in at 7pm so "come in then". I arrived at 6:45 and was told they were "Done for the day...come back tomorrow". I told them I was on the waiting list, and one of the guys I talked to confirmed. I asked them "was it 2pm yet? Because that's when this was supposed to have been done!". They jumped on it and got it done by 8pm. So I left, miffed, but glad it was over. Today, 3 days later, my wife just got a "huffy" call from DT asking when we were going to come in and get the tires we ordered! She explained that they already installed them, on the day they were ordered. He said,"well, if you don't want them, then I guess we'll send them back!". She explained that we already got them. And he simply again said, "If you don't want them, then fine!" and hung up. What. The. Heck??? DT....you guys need to get your act together and treat customers right. Live up to your commitments, and show some respect. Maybe they'll come back to you. Fortunately, there are other tire dealers around, and I should be good for a year or two! Good Luck! read more

My boyfriend ordered new winter tires which were to arrive in a few days. We called about two days later and they said it would be here the next morning and would be given a call to come in. The next morning, no call. A little after noon, we called and was told the same thing, that the tires were not in and they'd give us a call once it came in. We waited the whole day and by 5PM we still hadn't received a call and they close at 6PM. Therefore, we called once again and were put on hold for over 10 minutes. We were already in the area because we expected the tires to be in so we decided to stop by only to be told that they were delivered to the wrong place this morning and would again just be given a call the following day if they get it. If they had known since morning already that the tires weren't delivered to the right place, they should have informed us instead of repeatedly telling us it'd be in that day when it wasn't going to be. We understand that they're busier during the winter season, however, we were a bit disappointed at the fact that we kept being misinformed. read more

My husband went there today to get new tires and waited from 11:30 until 2:30 when he finally went up to ask when will they start on his car and seems like no one even did anything. No one inform him, you would think if they see you waiting they would of say something. At least to update on the waiting time. They went out for lunch without work on his car.
