We made it to this DT and started to stress out because the rim was obviously bent and the tire was about to go. To add to the stress, it was near the end of the weekend and we had to make it back home to S.A. Uggh! I can't remember the gentleman who helped us but he came out, asked us what happened, reviewed our options with us and told us he'd do everything he could to make sure we could get going again. Well I gave this location another shot and was disappointed AGAIN. I've tried 4 separate times now to come here and get some type of service and if the wait time isn't 3-4 hours in their busy time, I get ignored or forgotten about because these guys are literally writing peoples name down on scratch paper. I came today and got my name written down on some scratch paper.... Fine just as long as I get helped. Well over the next hour I watched everyone else get some type of follow up or hands on help and I made eye contact with multiple employees with keys in hand expressing I still needed help. It's already crowded enough and I hate being there, just hurry and get me out the door and take my money. I never saw that scratch paper again, everyone else would get hands on help and I got avoided by I believe 7 different employees. What a failure You need assistance with some restructuring and streamlining processes and implementing new processes, as I'm sure I can't be the only one who had this happen. 1 complete failure is too many, let alone a completely untracked amount. I also came to NTB down the road and had my vehicle in the bay in less than 10 minutes. I've always gotten good work here, they just historically haven't been as cheap. Drove up to an extremely busy environment thinking this was going to take forever! Walked up to the counter and someone reassured me they'd be with me ASAP. Someone attended to me pretty quickly, looked at my tires and took notes of my comments. My car was taken to the back and about an hour and fifteen min later it was repaired. Turns out I had 4 nails in 1 tire that was fixable. My keys were handed over with no charge. I had superior, friendly, customer service from everyone I spoke to and faster than expected! I'm never returning to NTB that always tells me something major is wrong. They are always trying to sell me something and the customer service is terrible! read more

I am writing this today because I feel compelled to convey how pleased I am with a few staff members at my Discount Tire location in Webster, TX, at 707 Bay Area Boulevard. Despite my fears going into researching new tires and wheels, my experience was actually very good and encouraged me to promote Discount Tire to friends, coworkers, and the like. Overall, the employees were courteous, friendly, and extremely hard-working folks. I literally observed them running from task to task, double-checking torque, etc. Visually I was impressed, but also personally when the staff assisted me so greatly with my intended modifications. Those who stood out during my business at this branch were employees Anthony, Josh, and Victor. These guys were courteous, polite, friendly, and treated me with respect despite my time constraints and requests with respect to my new tires/wheels. It was just a good experience and these guys made me want to come back. They most certainly deserve recognition, and I hope this will get them that at a minimum. read more

Very fast putting my new tires on. The scratched my wheels up a little, nothing major. They also put the wheel weights on very lazily. Don't think they will last the month before flying off. They were very busy. Felt bad for the staff. They looked overworked. read more

The dudes at this location are absolutely amazing! I came in because my TPMS (tire pressure light) was on for the second time in 2 weeks and I had just put new air in it! This is a service that costs nothing and it is amazing. Unfortunately, in my case, the rim was cracked. Which is why the tire deflated so quickly after I filled it up. I did have to purchase a new rim but the level of expertise, knowledge, and customer service I received from Josh and Anthony was outstanding. This is for sure the only place I'm bringing my cars to when I need anything done to the tires. TLDR: Josh and Anthony helped me out very professionally and showed me every option I had available. We checked in my car for a tire leak Saturday 7/9/22, we told them that it was on the driver's rear wheel side, sat there for an hour or so, then they said that the service was free, didn't tell us what was wrong with it. A day later we found out that they fix the wrong tire, hand prints all over the front driver side and none on the rear driver's side, we checked the tire only to find it leaking with a nail still inside. No wonder why the service was "free" , there was nothing wrong with the tire they "fixed" because they "fixed" the wrong one, they wanted to look like they had a good service and that it was free, super annoying. Now I have to look for tire replacement tomorrow morning. read more

Great experience with Mario and associates at Discount Tire on Bay Area Blvd. We needed new tires for my truck but was concerned about the covid situation. Monday night we chose the tires that we wanted on discounttire.com and made an online appointment for 12 noon the next day. We got there at 11:45 and Mario immediately came out, verified what we wanted and asked me to read the truck's mileage to him. He took that and our credit card back inside to process. He was back in about 5 minutes with the receipt and asked us to wait until notified to pull the truck into a service bay. I pulled the truck into bay at 12 noon and it was completely finished at 12:20. The point of all this is that we got 4 new tires replaced and balanced in about 1/2 hour without getting close to anyone and none of the service people ever got inside the truck. All the office personnel and most all the customers were wearing masks and maintaining the 6' distancing. This isn't the kind of service that I'm used to. Thought I'd pass it on. read more

I don't generally give out one-star reviews, but when you send me to another store to get a spare tire, and the other store doesn't have it, I have no choice. I'm out about 30 dollars in Uber because of their incompetence. If you tell someone they have tires at another store, MAKE SURE THEY HAVE THE DAMN TIRES BEFORE GETTING A CUSTOMER TO GET AN UBER TO THAT PLACE. I hope whoever sent me there sees this. read more

Always impeccable service. Tire prices are comparable, good tires aren't inexpensive anywhere so I'm reviewing based on the service. They are in the tire business so if you think you are going there for a tire repair only, they will check your tires and let you know where your tread stands. Attempting to keep you safe! I rarely come on here to WRITE reviews, but the great service I received at DT-Webster most definitely deserved one I was dreading coming in due to the fact that it was partially because a DIFFERENT DT location put on bigger tires without informing me. What I assumed would be a horrible headache, ended up being the best DT experience I've had. The manager, James, had great customer service! One of my weakest virtues is patience. I have close to none, and after reflecting deeply, it could be because I have the attention span of a gnat. This being said, The inner 2 year old in me comes out whenever I have to wait for long periods of time, which is why I rather visit service places that use an appointment system. Like mama said, "I better shop around!" and that I did. I called several places for tires for my ongoing project "Save de' Hoopty" and Discount Tires was the best priced one. After the research phase was over, I simply looked online at the Webster location to see if my tires were still available. I was able to reserve them, and book an appointment for the next day. Fast forward to the day of service. I wanted to turn around and run for the hills when I saw the waiting room looked like the Texas State Fair. It was packed like they were giving away free pizza and all I could think was, "I'm never going to get out of here!" Well, I womaned up and marched my happy self to the desk to check in. MY tires were ready to go, they drove my car to the bay, and 35 minutes later I was out the door. The gentleman helping me out was awesome! He was fast, courteous, and didn't try to upsell me. My ride is smooth and because I was able to get out fast, I was able to treat myself to a nice cocktail at my neighborhood bar before heading home to the chaos. Note to others: take advantage of the online tools and reserve your tires / make appointments prior to showing up. It's a time saver and it makes the experience so smooth. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Had a simple tire rotation done here. My truck has hub centric rings on it. Somehow they managed to get 2/4 tires right but stacked 2 rings on one tire and my other tire had no ring at all putting stress on my lugs. They could've cost me a lot of money in repairs if i didn't catch their mistake quickly. I don't understand how you only focus on tires and tires alone and you mess up this bad on a simple task. I have been a long time customer of this chain and they've always done well for me and in my opinion they're one of the best tire places ever. I was so pleased that when I moved from Houston, TX to Ventura, CA that American Tire is the same company and I was able to keep that relationship. Today we had an issue with a tire on a rental vehicle in the Webster/Clear Lake area. Across the street from where we discovered the flat was this Discount Tire (ironically the same one I used to visit when I lived here). I drove over here and put more wear on the already damaged tire. Bruce met me at the door and he quickly assessed the situation. He's replacing my rental car tire at an extremely discounted rate. This Discount Tire Store is literally unbeatable. I had an appointment scheduled at 8:30AM today, Monday June 12th 2017. I dropped my car off at 8:05AM to have four new tires installed. I ordered the appointment and the four tires on discounttires.com the previous week. Upon arrival, I was informed that the tires I ordered online were discontinued. I thought, "great, here we go, I'm about to get upsold on this, that and the other". Before I could even say a word, the associate (who was incredibly friendly, efficient and knowledgeable) said, "we will upgrade you to the next best tire at no charge". Wow - literally shocked. So after dropping the car off at 8:05AM, I received a phone call at 8:25AM - thinking - "something went wrong, they don't have tires in stock, need to make a change, etc..." Wrong again. The guy on the phone goes: "Your vehicle is ready to be picked up". BLOWN AWAY. Are you serious? Four new tires, installed and ready to go in under 20 minutes?! Phenomenal. I ordered four $78 GT Radial tires and they gave me four $103 Pathfinder Sport A/T tires at no additional charge. This place is literally, the bees knees, when it comes to tires. I usually have had good service there and I have always purchased mine and my family's tires there at that spot, but today I was completely over looked while my car sat in the bay as other male customers came and went. I asked 3 times what was going on and they gave me a lame excuse. I had a nail in my tire it was supposed to be a 15 minute fix but I was there with my 85 year old mother waiting 40 minutes. Before I drove away I also talked to the manager of the store about the situation and I got the same answer "I'm very sorry." After being a customer at that location for over 20 years I felt like they could do with or without my business. There are many other choices for me to purchase tires that will give the same services as discount tire. If it had been any other situation besides this COVID danger and me having my elderly mother in public with me I may have not taken the time to write this bad review, but the shoe fits. read more

Giving a 5 star shout out to Chris for the best experience I've ever had at Discount Tire. He was very helpful and attentive from the beginning. I went in because my tire pressure light was on. When I got my tires checked, the young man informed me one of my tires was at 17 and had a nail in the side wall which could not be repaired. I parked and went inside and explained this to Chris who came outside to look at my tire and confirm. He also helped me find out that I actually had warranty on my tires (my car was purchased through Craigslist so I had no idea, but the owner of the vehicle kept all of his service receipts so this was an easy find). I extended the warranty for an extra $20 and got the tire replaced at no cost. The whole process took maybe 30 minutes. Very thankful for you guys for making my experience so much easier (I was already having a rough morning). Definitely kept my spirits up the rest of the day, not gonna lie. Went into discount tire on Texas avenue and had horrible service. I felt like they gave me too many excuses of why thank can't replace my tire that has 40,000 mile warranty and I purchased the separate insurance. I went into Kemah Discount Tire and they listened to my problem and took care of it in a matter of minutes. Bay Area Discount Tire needs to be more like Kemah Discount Tire, they were professional and wasnt just trying to make me spend more money. I literally had the tires for 2 months.
