We were in the market for tires and found Tire Man while we were in Houston. We saw that Tire Man had great reviews and decided to choose Tire Man to replace our tires. Tire Manager at the Houston location initially provided great Customer Service. It was until we informed them that the 4 tires they sold us were leaking that the Service provided then went downhill. We have had to drive back to Houston from San Antonio to get replacements done and even after this 2nd visit, our tires are still dangerous to drive on. The Manager informed my husband that they do not have the correct tires to replace what they've already replaced and it's been weeks passed, with no sense of urgency or support to help us. With all of the blown out tires in Texas, we fear our tires will go out sooner than Tire Man provides us with new tires. We've wasted not only our time, but especially our money, and efforts trying to coordinate with them. VERY DISAPPOINTED! read more

Wow these guys are good, better than Discount Tires. Tire man fixed two slow leaking tires that Discount Tires was unable to fix on two different Discount Tires locations, may be because it's included in the tires package when you buy tires from Discount Tires so flat tire repairs are free so Discount have no incentive to fix the leaking tires. Tire man found the leaks real fast, it was the dirty edges of both rims causing a slow leak, rims were cleaned and the leaks were fixed. Thanks to the staff & Evon at the front office. read more

This place is amazing, I found this gem a few years ago when I first moved to the area. I would rather support local then go to discount tire or Sears. I have never received anything but quick, super friendly and cheap prices here. The used tires are pretty much new. Last time I stopped in here was about a week ago and I was on my way to work and my tire looked low so I stopped at a gas station to fill it. Tire kept leaking air and I drove it to tireman. They told me it was the valve and replaced it for free. Super fast too. I was only 15 minutes late for work. Thanks guys and keep up the great work. These guys were real professionals. I expected a simple plug for a leak. They cleaned the tire, dismounted the tire from the wheel, removed a nail, checked the leaks inside out, plugged two places, and remounted. All for $20. These guys rock. Fastest service I've ever received at an auto shop. I had a tire with a slow leak and they had the problem diagnosed within minutes of me pulling up to the shop. The tire was repaired and I had paid and was on my way before I could break a sweat. The waiting area is a couple of chairs outside in the shade at the back of the shop but for the price, I'll most certainly return. I don't need fancy. Service is great, $12 to repair a hole in the tire and it take less than 10 min. They don't mess around Update: although their service is good. the valve stems they use on the tires are garbage. two out of 4 on my car failed very quickly. Also, they don't use torque wrench. they tighten my lug nuts so tight I couldn't take them off. lug nuts too tight will damage rotors. read more

Looking for a honest tire guy??!! Look no further. If you're in the area at all and you go to the usual tire store Firestone, discount, NTB etc.. And they give you the usual we can't fix it or you need a new tire routine drive over to this guy and give him your business. We pulled up with wife's explorer and he had it fixed and on the road in 20 minutes and saved us around 250 bucks for the one tire. read more

Ok, so I was praising this location and have about 6 friends of mine ALSO going to this shop for good new or used tires. However today, I no longer feel good about this place. I purchased two used tires from this place last month. The owner sold me a half bald tire that I had NO CLUE about. I went to Discount Tire to get some air in my tires and they informed me that the inside of one of my front tires where bald. The rest of the tire was fine. I have 5 children so that's not safe to drive around like that at all! So I brought it to the owner that sold me the tire's attention and he agreed to switch it out. He said they put dates in the tires so they can tell when they where purchased, however, I purchased THAT tire and another tire on the same day last month. He said it was purchased months back when clearly I purchased them JUST LAST MONTH! This tire is the ONLY tire that is semi-bald. The other tire I purchased on the same day last month looked perfectly nice. So the owner thinks I'm being dishonest and says he will swap it out but can't do business with me.....WHAT?! You mean to tell me that you sale me a shawdy used tire that YOU HAND PICKED YOURSELF, and blame ME for it being bald ON THE INSIDE????? The other tire was fine though. I even told him I could pull up bank statements showing my purchase or if HE could pull up my receipt and he said he has a lot of paperwork to do all of that ...oh...ok. Look, all I'm saying is this guy doesn't play fair when it's his fault. Yes, he gave me another tire but to say you can't do business with me because of YOUR MISTAKE is completely preposterous. He just lost 7 customers because of the way he handled this situation and his choice of words. Please check your used or new tires when going to a personally owned shops.
