I needed new tires so I went to this Discount Tire in particular based upon the reviews. Well I went on the Thursday before we were supposed to be getting snow. I go in to get two new tires but was talked into getting 4 gently used tires. They worked with me and my budget and instead of getting two new tires I purchased the 4 used tires. My estimated time of completion was 11:04am. My car didn't get back to the bay until 11:17am. Now I was a little irritated by this as all of the people who were there before me had left and even people who came in after me to buy new tires were leaving before me. Now I understand that they take appointments, however there was only one person who came in and said that he had an appointment scheduled. I felt slighted because I bought used tires and not brand new that's why I was being pushed to the back burner. When they finally finished my car which was closer to noon than the 11:04am that was quoted to me they forgot to put the caps on two of my tires. I went back in to let them know so they did fix it before I left. I guess next time I will buy new tires and maybe I'll receive better service. Experienced two flat tires on the same side of my Airstream on Route 66, hobbled to RV Park with Spare and flat. Next day toke tired to Discount Tires. Devon accompanied all I wanted done with the Tires. They had the correct size of tires and he was also able to upgrade the times to match the silver of the Airstream. Had 2 Punctured tires on a road trip 5 hours home to Texas. 5:30 on a Friday.. The manager at a different location nearby refused to help me. Turned me away basically saying Tuff Sh!+.... Lucky for me, when I called the assistant manager ROB at the (OKT-05 Tulsa) location @ 11110 E 41st St. - He volunteered to Stay open late after close to help me. Fixed both tires within 15 minutes. My son is at Univerity of Tulsa and had some tire issues. He is on the spectrum so some of these normal day to day things can present challenges for him. A few months back I was told that Discount Tire helps with your tire pressure at no charge. When I arrived to the 41st and Garnett location an employee by the name Angel assisted me with pulling my vehicle in and supposedly adding air to my tire. He mentioned that he had found something in my tire and was unable to air it up, he offered a new tire. I declined and he stated that he could not place the tire back on the car, I would have to purchase a new tire. With no option I purchased a $140 tire when I expected to just get air. I feel as if I should have been told that if something would make it to where he couldn't air up the tire, he couldn't put it back on. Please learn to be more upfront and honest with your customers. read more

I was driving to work this morning and my tire pressure light came on. The tires felt a little weird so I didn't want to take any chances - I drive right by this location on my route to work so I stopped in right before they opened. They opened the garage doors for me a few minutes before 8 and got my car in right away to check things out. The lobby filled up a little after they opened so I was thankful that they got me in first. Much better experience than my last visit - they fixed my tire and got me on my way to work. Several people were coming in to buy new tires so thankfully they didn't try to upsell me on anything this time. I will continue to stop here for tire emergencies as long as they don't try to pressure me into new tires before I am ready (we bought our tires through the BA location, and they are still in good condition). read more

Just went in here for a tire rotation. Good service despite cold weather. Estimated completion time I was given was also spot on.

Waited in the waiting room for 15 minutes where multiple workers looked at me and proceeded to look away. Did not get greeted once. Ended up leaving due to extremely poor service. One of the up front kids even walked directly past me to help another customer. Unbelievably bad service. Was going to get an entire set here but will not be now that they've put a horrible taste in my mouth. read more

I always come here to buy tires but never again. DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY and DO NOT believe the 40,000 mile warranty. I had both and was told I still had to pay. The warranty depends on depth so even if It was within the miles they won't replace them. I came in within the 40,000 miles on all 4 tires and they said I had to pay. The warranty is for them to send the tire back and get a credit so that's how u get a new tire but only if it's within DEPTH and NOT MILES. I bough all 4 tires from here . Never coming back . I've always came to this place sadly. read more

I came here with a stake that was stuck in my tire. I thought it was probably puncturing it. David and his guys took my tire off, checked it, and put it back on for no cost at all. They were even going to patch it up for free if my tire was going to need that. He explained that if they weren't able to patch it (if the stake had made too large of a puncture) he'd be able to have my very odd tire size (175/55R15) the next morning! It turned out that the stake wasn't actually puncturing my tire, it was just stuck in the rubber bit. They removed the stake and they were HONEST and told me I had nothing wrong with my tire. If I were to take it to where I have been going, they would've told me there was a big hole and probably charged me for a brand new tire and installment fees. The staff was so friendly! I'm so thankful I came here and will definitely use them again in the future. read more

I went in to this establishment to repair a nail puncture. They reportedly fixed it free of charge. Next morning I find it flat again. I figure they must have accidentally sealed it incorrectly so I took it in again. They bring my tire out to me to show half a razor blade completely flush in a groove of the tire. Because of this, the tire is unrepairable and I need to buy a new one. I write this review as i find it statistically improbable that I rolled perfectly over a vertical razor-blade on the casual 12 minute drive home after they repaired the puncture and "checked the rest of my tires". I find it to be several magnitudes more likely they either messed up the original fix and broke it or purposely broke it. While there is always the possibility, if more people experience this it's important to speak up. read more
