This place has crooks for employees. My wife shows up for a simple nail removable in her cars tires that have about 3k + miles on them and they tell her that she needs new tires and they can't help her unless she buys new tires because they're old. What kind of BS is that? I check her tires regularly because of her occupation. Her tires were NOT in need of replacement. So they con her into buying new tires and then they cannot even inflate all the tires to the same pressure. So she has to turn around and have them fix them. I don't recommend this place to anyone. If you have swindlers and hustlers as your employees you deserve less than adequate word of mouth. Save yourself some time and money and find a better location and service. Don't rest assured they'll do the best thing for you here. read more

Our car got a flat tire one mile from Discount Tire in League City... We were on our way back home from Galveston... These sweet gentlemen stopped, ON the highway, to help change to the spare, only to find out it was flat too, lol. They were Angels to our rescue! God Bless them Once we hobbled to Discount Tire, we were greeted by Ryan. Very professional, polite and caring. Once he recorded our info, our car was taken back shortly thereafter... Come to find out we had shredded the tire while driving the short bit that we drove on it. So, the tire had to be replaced. The guys were prompt and entertaining, we could hear the guys singing at the top of their lungs in the garage. I imagine so we would be able to enjoy them over their super loud tools While they were finishing up Ryan called us up to the counter, to fill us in. Now we have one brand new tire on the front axle, Driver's side. Thankfully, we had spent the money, on warranties, for all four tires last year ‍ All of this to say, wow, we can ALWAYS count on Discount Tire. They even repair flat tires and air up your tires for free! It's so refreshing to know that anywhere in Texas we've needed them from Austin, to Dallas down here to League City, Discount Tire will always take care of us. read more

The gentleman at Discount Tires told me that he could not rotate my tires as my tires needed replacing. That the tread was 2 on two tires and 3 on the other two tires. He tried to sell me $1300 worth of new tires. Mind you, Mazda had just rated my tires at 4's - only have 21,000 miles on my car. I visited this location on 9/28/23, which was a Thursday. Upon walking in, I was assisted with a worker named Jermaine. I walked out with him to show him my front passenger side tire, it needed to be replaced with a new one because of the fact it was dry-rotted. I was nice as can be, it sucks that these men work in the heat, it was a very hot day. Originally, I assumed the man, Jermaine, didn't like his job by the way he was speaking to me. He spoke in a way as if he was annoyed with me and as if I didn't know what I was talking about. Furthermore, he spoke very loud with me, which was a little embarrassing, I must admit. After I explained to him what I wanted and paid, I sat down along with the other customers and patiently waited for my tire to be replaced. As I was awaiting for my car to be done, another customer walked in to which Jermaine walked right up to the person ready to help and was extremely nice. I was shocked by how night and day it was from how he conversated with me and the way he did with this customer. I didn't let it let it get to me and let it slide. After waiting for almost half an hour, my car was finally done and I got in and drove off quickly to my job that I was running late to. I should've checked to make sure they replaced the correct tire, but didn't. A few days later I went on a trip thinking my tires were in the right condition to go on a long distance trip with. However, my dad pointed out that they did not in fact replace the correct tire that they were supposed to replace, instead, they replaced the opposite tire on the driver's side. Lastly, I am very upset with the customer service I had, along with poor work done to my vehicle. I am so blessed I made it back home safely with the dry-rotted tire. These guys at the EF Lowry EXPY store just go above and beyond . I had factory tires on my truck and had been holding off for a good deal. I jumped on the 4th of July Sales Event. Will Blackburn helped me and did not oversell his merchandise. I appreciated his time and patience with me. I did make an appointment at 9:00 on Saturday was out my 9:45 with my new tires. Only took me one week to curb check them bad boys!! I have been coming here for years and the location on Palmer. Once, in a rainstorm on another occasion they gentlemen greeted me at the door with an umbrella. They always have cool water and I noticed pastries this time for customers. read more

Excellent!! I stopped by today (with no appointment) because I had a piece of medal lodged into my tire. It was my first experience ever going to a maintenance shop that wasn't the dealership and I was blown away. The man who helped me out was so kind and helpful - he even warned me about these large cracks that I had in my tire. Since these cracks were significantly large and deep, he suggested I get the tire replaced to avoid a future blowout. This location makes it easy! As a lady, I love the free air check perk that allows you to drive up and get your tire pressure regulated without having to exit the car. You just drive up and poof! There goes someone at your service getting your tires right where they need to be. My last visit, Tyrus helped me out and was very friendly. He mentioned I would need to replace my tires soon but was not pushy about getting a sale. I love it when that happens because... Well... Who likes purchasing tires? I sure dread it every time. However, I asked for a quote and the number was surprisingly lower than I expected. Not to mention their awesome warranty package that will replace a tire at no cost in done cases. Always helpful whenever I visit. They were able to patch my flat within 20 minutes both times I went to visit the store. I also bought a set of 4 Pirelli tires from them and have not had a problem with the tires since purchase (although the price was a little more than what I was expecting).
