Great customer service , very quick , the fastest discount tie i've ever been to and easy.

Just wondering what signing up for appointment times mean for service on maintenance when the time is not honored. Checked in 5 min early for 830, was busy two cars out at 835 two vehicles pulled in. Now 20 minutes later still waiting for vehicle to be serviced. read more

Once again Discount Tire came through for me. I had a piece of metal lodged in my tire so I took it in to get fixed. The guys working there are ALWAYS polite to me and get me in and out quickly. I recommend this place to everyone!!! Great service!! read more

Mathew and the rest of the crew went above and beyond to make sure my tires were working correctly. Great customer service!

We came in needing a rim, Mr. Thomas helped us out today. He is just an amazing person. Not only did he find us a less expensive rim so we could get all 4 , he helped us on the installation and locking lugs. I have always loved discount, but Thomas is truly one of a kind! We are truly appreciative! The Batchelor's read more

Discount Tire - The sales person and the location. - Tires Near Me - Texas City, Texas

Today I got a flat tire on the way to an apt. I brought it to the closest discount tire since I have the warranty. I dropped my car off at 11:30 explaining that I had a 12:45 apt to be to. They said this shouldn't be a problem. I got the message that the car was done at 1:32. When I arrived it was not finished. It didn't finish until 2 pm. We had 1 screw in one tire. I don't think it was unreasonable to expect the repair to have finished sooner. People arrived after us that were seen before us. We were the last vehicle still there. To date I haven't had to wait for one tire repair this long at any other location. It really messed up our entire schedule. read more

Came in to fix leaky tires that drove me crazy for weeks (bmw). Bret was helping a customer when I walked in and as soon as he was finished, he got right with me. He doesn't typically work in the garage but he took the time to fully diagnose my tires and was even able to plug the worst one for free (even included new tpms sensor). In addition he also thoroughly and honestly explained my tire conditions and quoted me on new tires for a good price that I thought were going to break the bank. Thank you Bret! I will need those tires soon! read more

We had been loyal Discount customers for decades! We needed valve extenders on the tires of our brand new RV. We called, described the RV and what we needed and they said they could do it. Made appointment, drove about 20 miles up there and they informed me they didn't have a lift big enough and didn't that type of work! They turned me away! Not only did they lie about being able to do it, the bad experience got worse! Backed out of the non-RV friendly driveway that ended up having a very steep slope going out. Ended up wrecking the undercarriage and lower left rear side. I have been driving RVs for more than 10 years and can usually spot a hazard but this one was a horrible surprise! Be careful if you have larger vehicle. Don't ever want to go back! read more

I have been using Discount Tire for longer than I can remember. I started in CA many years ago. I have been in Texas for almost 10 years and my experience at 4 different stores has been great. I would not consider buying tires anywhere else. We are currently camping in our large 5th wheel in Galveston. We had a blowout on the way down. It was easy to drop off the blown tire for replacement. We bought one new tire here and arranged to get three more at the dealer near our home. Very easy since all their records are shared by all the stores. I am a forever fan! read more

First of all, I would like to say discount tire always comes through (On Clutch) when you need help you can always depend on them, but this day in particular, which was last weekend I had a complete blowout. Luckily, I had an air compressor to put a little bit of air in my tire to make it to the discount tire, which was closed, but they still had a few cars in the bay, Domingo came right to my rescue after the store was already closed. He changed my entire tire. It pays to get the warranty on your tires. He did not have to do that since the store was already closed, but he went over and beyond and for that, I am so grateful because I needed it. If anyone should make employee of the month, it should be Domingo. Over all discount counter tire is top notch, but employee Domingo is the top notch employee! Don't hate celebrate. You guys should be happy and lucky you have someone like that on your team reviews mean the most especially to your future customers you rock Domingo thank you so much for your help. read more

Bought 4 Michelins for my BMW X3. They were not cheap because they are run flats. Didn't notice until I got home-25 miles away with gas at $4.59 a gallon, that right front tire was installed backwards, as these are what are called directionals. Had to drive all the way back, another two hour ordeal round trip and wait time, to have them remount tire. I mentioned to the manager that my wife's Infiniti also needed tires and had to be run flats as well. I asked if he would give me a courtesy for my trouble when I buy those tires. Not only did he not answer my question but never even quoted those tires! Value repeat business? Evidently not at Discount Tire!! Didn't even offer me a cup of coffee for my trouble. You guys need lessons on how to run a business and treat people right!! read more

They intentionally chipped off powder coating on all 4 of my wheels when I went in for new tires... Then 100% just denied, denied, denied it.... Buyer beware! read more

Worst customer service of any Discount Tire ever. I couldn't get anyone to help me so finally I left.

This is how you earn a customer for life. My tire had a nail and I drive a Rivian R1S. I tried NTB and they were honest and nice, but they didn't have the tools and training to handle an EV. Luckily the Discount Tire team got it done. It was their first Rivian but they had the tools for it and they took the time to do it right. To top it off, my nail repair was free of charge. Now I see why my car guy friend says Discount Tire is always the way to go. read more

These guys are horrible, they chipped off the powder coating on my wheels, all four of them! When I noticed and said something about it to them dude lied to my face and said the wheels were like that when I came in. The also removed or destroyed 2 of the 4 tire sensors and I know they were working when I came in because I needed air just days before and the air was replaced in the same tires that suddenly required new sensors after I left. I will NEVER darken their doorstep!!!!!!!!!! I don't like shabby workmanship, I hate people who will lie and try to say they didn't mess it up! read more

I've been using this same location since 1984. Went in today to get my son set up with some new tires, Dom, whom I think is a manager, was extremely helpful and was even putting the tires on my son's truck. All the guys at this location are the reasons they have customers for life!!! read more

WOW!! This place has been amazing! I live 7 1/2 hours away, and I had a blowout on the side of the road. Discount Tire was so kind and polite. They helped me save money and time on my tires! Highly recommend!!! read more

Went in today to put 2 new tires on my truck. I was in and out in a reasonable time. But when I checked the tire pressure on one of the new tires, it was 46 psi, and the door jam sticker says 35 psi. I would give 5 stars if they didn't over inflate the tire. Also not relevant to this review, don't listen to the 4/32 replacement recommendation, that's just a sales pitch to get you to buy more tires. read more

Discount Tire is Great! Great tires and service at reasonable prices! I had a 10:15 appointment a couple of weeks ago and was done and gone by 10:45. read more

Chad was extremely helpful with an issue with a tire stem. Offered to install sensors for us for a small upcharge. Fixed our tire stem quickly and was very friendly and professional. Fast, friendly, and on time!! These men work hard and I would definitely come back! Enjoyable experience!

I Love discount tire. What else can I say. No B.S. at my Texas city store. You go in tell them what you need and they getter done. I've been dealing with them a long time. I messed up and went to NTB, what a mistake I made. I learn quick, never again.7/10/23 read more

I went to discount tire this morning because my low air sensor was on. The man there proceeded to tell me that I needed 4 new tires and my tires are less than a year old. I took my car to my tire guy and he said I just had a nail and he could fix that for me. How dare discount tire take advantage of a paralyzed woman. I will never go back there but will ride on 4 flat before I ever go to them again read more

Took my mother in laws car because I noticed the tire pressure was off on all of her tires. Pouring rain and all the stalls are full. The manager, I think his shirt said Mike, didn't wait for a stall to open and checked the pressure in the rain! Yet another reason I always use and recommend Discount Tire!! OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!! read more

Highly recommend this discount tire! The workers are honest and will let you know if there is a cheaper option.

es demasiado caro la verdad por una llanta me cobraron 204 cuando en otro lugar me cobran 80 por todo ósea es muchísimo y no vale la pena

This place is a great place for your tire needs. I called one afternoon to see if they had the tires I needed. They did not have them in stock but said they could order them and they would be there in a couple days. The next day they called and they were there already. That was fast! I drove up from the island an hour and a half before they closed. It was a Friday afternoon and I was afraid they were going to be busy and I would not be able to get in on time. I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to get in right away. They were quick and I was able to get in and out within a half hour. The price was right and seemed lower than what I have paid for tires before. I highly recommend this place. The service is super friendly, the price is right, and it's fast. read more

Discount Tire - Waiting for my car - Tires Near Me - Texas City, Texas

I don't usually leave reviews but the service from Robert and the other staff was just that great. I had to go in two separate times this morning and both times, Robert got everything taken care of efficiently and made sure to keep me updated while I sat and waited. They even moved my seat back to the spot it was at for my short legs, what a nice touch. read more

Amazing experience. I came in on a Monday afternoon with no appointment, I needed a new tire that I had warranty on and I had no issues at all. They were very quick with the whole process. I was in and out within an hour. And being a young woman, I didn't feel taken advantage of or like they were trying to scam me for more money like many car places do. Will definitely return to this location. read more

No sure how to rate. The front desk employee was very professional and friendly. But while waiting for my car--inside the store--I could hear the garage employees yelling at each other and using profanity. read more

I brought four new tires. First they left off the valve steam cover. Second they did not align the valve steam with the yellow dot on the tire. Brought this to the attention of the employee when I had to go back to get my tires installed correctly and his response was that how we mount tires? The salesperson was very friendly and professional when I brought the tires. read more

I was impressed with the information I recieved and the educational approach in which it was given, as opposed to higher pressure sales tactics I have recieved in some tire shops. The staff was friendly and very speedy. Thanks guys! read more

If you need tires, go see Alan. I was originally going in for two tires but he gave me a deal at 4 new ones. Also started at $711 and he discounted it even more bringing it down to $674. Also received a mail in rebate for $75 so all in all I paid $600 for 4 new heavy duty truck tires on my f250. Alan took care of me and my truck as if it was his own. Excellent customer service. read more

Chris helped me out and was awesome. Hands down, best discount tire I have been to in a long time.
