After a snafu during a road trip involving our left rear tire and a screw, we found this location that carried the specific tires we had. As luck would have it, we ran over a screw that we noticed late on a Saturday evening when the TPMS lit up. Luckily the leak was relatively slow, so we could still get by with some extra air. Continuing our streak of questionable luck, the screw was outside the boundary for repairing. This has never happened to us before, but luckily we were able to survive by adding some air until Monday morning when discount tire was open. I only recently learned that AWD cars are very sensitive to tread differences. Luckily (?) our set of Crossclimate2s were only around a year old, so the other tires were still within the manufacturers defined range for a safe replace. We ended up replacing the back pair to keep things as even as possible, and were luckily able to find a location with our special directional tread tires in stock. Car tires are an investment where it truly pays to prioritize safety over savings. Making a bad choice with your tires might save money upfront, but the potential for a catastrophic failure far outweighs the initial cost. While I like to pay for quality tires, we usually gamble by not paying extra for extended warranties or tire certificates. Even without that coverage, we were still able to get some prorated pricing that kept things pretty reasonable. I opted not to get the certificates this time either, since in a road hazard scenario, there is a pretty good chance that a nail or screw would be in a repairable spot on the tire as every other incident has been in the past. Even in an unrepairable scenario, the certificates would only cover the specific tire anyways, and not otherwise cover tires still in good condition on AWD cars that would only need to be replaced to avoid damage caused by tread depth variances. They were busy, but our appointment was on schedule, and they had us back on the road quickly. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I ordered a set of General AltiMAX RT45 tires through Discount Tire after weeks of research, and had them shipped to this location. After installation, Miguel, the mechanic, told me everything was good to go. Before leaving, I luckily checked the tires myself and saw that they had installed Radar Dimax AS-8 tires--a completely different and significantly cheaper set. When I brought it up and asked Miguel, he repeatedly insisted I was mistaken and they were the same tire. Only after I showed proof of my order did he backtrack, and repeatedly insisted they were from the same manufacturer (they are not), claiming they were actually a better tire, implying I should be satisfied. Only after a discussion with others did he conclude he would reinstall the correct tires. This left me feeling like I was having to argue just to get what I paid for. When I spoke with Robert, the manager, I hoped for a more constructive response, but unfortunately he didn't handle the situation much better. I made it explicitly clear that the wrong tires had been installed, and I had a poor customer service experience, but I was met with a various excuses and repeated interruptions instead of simply taking clear responsibility. There was no sense of urgency or concern about this pretty important mistake, nor acknowledgement of the misinformation and the fact I had to catch the mistake myself. If I hadn't double-checked, I would have driven off with a product worth 40% less than what I paid for. Whether due to negligence or something more deliberate, this experience felt dishonest and disrespectful to the customer. Always inspect your tires before leaving. I won't be returning to this location, nor shopping discount tire in the future. read more

Don't come here if you care about your car and wallet. Attitude from the employee moment I walked in. Kept insisting I purchase tires after I told him a have a set in the trunk I wanted installed. Said it's be cheaper if I bought their tires to have them mounted and balanced. It cost me $91 to mount and balance 2 tires. The tires were over greased, causing them to slip, left a mess on the rims and added more than a strip of weights. The dealership charges 25 bucks a tire for the same service. If you must come here ask for Robert. He's the only saving grace for this review and he actually knows what he's talking about. read more

My husband who is a Veteran that deals with PTSD. When he took his vehicle there, he was told while waiting for awhile that the technician who changed one of his tires had broken the sensor, then instead of the store willing to repair for free he was told they would charge $60/each to get the sensors replaced. He was confused and forgot about this whole situation until today that was brought to my attention which I am his caregiver. This is appalling and unprofessional for a company to do this to anyone. This issue needs to be fixed correctly as it was in your possession for service & your technician SHOULD have been trained AND been more careful NOT to break anything and if they did so, then it SHOULD be upon the store's expense to get this replaced! read more

Because they open at 8 but the tire technician said he could fix it because I am working all graduations for FBISD and he said no. I took my car here for some new tires. I replaced two of my tires during their sales event. After replacing my tires, my tire sensor light kept coming on even after I calibrated it several times. My biggest gripe is that they always try to upsell or make sure you walk out of there with a brand new set of tires. Costco would be a way better option. read more

I am shocked because I've always had pleasant experiences here but I won't be going back. I had a flat tire that they replaced and since then, I had an odd noise coming from my car. I took it back and they rotated my tires and said it was my engine or transmission/ they couldn't do anything else. When I went to my other auto shop they told me they had put my tire on wrong and that's what made the noise. They fixed it and noise is now gone. I'm not sure how they only have one job (to change tires) and they can't even do that right. I give it two stars because they are always quick and can fit me in without appointments. Will never return here. After numerous times taking our Hondas, an Accord and my Honda Ridgle line and their screwups we will just go to Costco from now on. First on my honda ridgle line they lost my wheel lock and I didnt notice until I had to fix a flat a month later. The other tire place had to break the lug nuts to get my tire off. Then when I took my wifes car in earlier this year they changed out the wrong tires. They also put the new tires on backwards/wrong side. My lock was the wrong lock for my Lugnuts so they had to break it which was my only option. They apparently normally charge for that but Did not charge because I had a flat repair. I just wanted to tell them thank you. I know they were ready to go home who is it after a long workday? Not impressed. I came in for a free tire rotation. The tire rotation would be free if I had driven less than 60k miles on the tires I bought from them years prior. I bought the tires when I had 23k miles on my car. My car had 47k miles on it in total at the time of the tire rotation. For some reason, he kept adding the two together stating since it was over 60k miles and the tire rotation would not be free. My car doesn't even have 60k miles on it. Thankfully, I was able to talk some sense into the guy. Considering they do tire rotations on a daily basis, I'm surprised that this even happened. read more
