Today, while visiting Prescott I had s tire issue. I called GoAZ first I bought my Indian Challenge at GoAZ in 2021. GoAZ parts was great, she was friendly and helpful. They didn't have the tire in stock but could get it by Wednesday. I found a tire in Mayer at the Harley Davidson but I'll get to back to that. I asked if I got the tire and got there by 4 could they get me in to swallow the tire out since we need to be on the road in the morning. He said his guys were itching to go home. So I inquired about Wednesday and he said they didn't hsve to tools to swap the tire. Unfortunately there is no special tools needed for changing a tire. Liberty Harley Davidson had 1 tire for $400 however he was rude and acted like he was put out for having to go look for the tire. Then he let me know that he can't work on anything but a Harley Davidson. I let him know it was an unexpected emergency and he said they aren't allowed. The most helpful person in town was the manager at Discount tire. He called around tried to set stuff up and was friendly. I could her the guy from liberty Harley Davidson telling him he'd already told the guy on the Indian he can't change it. So we rented a U-hual and were taking home. The tire prices are about $100 more than the valley. Clearly Go AZ and Liberty Harley Davidson don't care about riders in the least. I wouldn't buy anything from Prescott Valley GoAz or Liberty HD. They aren't about riders. read more

I required 4 new tires for my vehicle. I tried to reach another place but put on hold and they hung up on me twice. I then tried discount and also could not get through. But I still needed tires I tried to login online but that did not work. So I called their 800 number and Sonia immediately picked up the call. I pretty much knew what I wanted and she took my order then looked at other tire dealers for best price for me and reduced the price accordingly. I asked for a military discount and she gave me that then a AAA as well. The price was great. I'm not sure why but I always end up at Discount tire. Their service has also improved for pre-orders. You make an appt. Then take your vehicle in and they have a spot marked for you. They take your vehicle immediately in and thus your only waiting for the actual tire installation. Outstanding. Everyone else walking in while waiting for the vehicle that hasn't moved in the first hour and 15 minutes, (they) (other customers),being told 45 minutes for a complete change? I guess when you pay an absorbed amount of money, you are treated differently than having the guaranteed maintenance. Possibly a game changer when it comes to buying my next set of tires and going to look at Costco. Plus, the up charging to women and the elderly is sickening! I was in Prescott for a day this past week and unfortunately had a freaky tire puncture, so I headed to this Discount Tire for a repair. Within fifteen minutes my car was rilling into the bay for the repair. Another ten minutes and the tech appeared to give me the bad news that the puncture was unrepairable. Another 10minutes and we had agreed on a new tire for just $180 out the door! Another 20mins and my car rolled up to the front door and I was on my way in a total time of about an hour and a quarter. Although i scheduled an appointment for tire service, i had to cancel after seeing The entrance to the facility. I have a motorhome that would not be able to negotiate the entrance without the potential of removing the underbody connections for my back and grey tanks. Huge shoutout to John and his staff at Discount in Prescott. I live in Phoenix and have been using them for years for multiple vehicles. We made a trip to Prescott this last Saturday and had tire issues, apparently we hit something in the road and caused a gash in the tire. We stopped by on our way home just before 2 PM. John said he was a little short staffed but assured they could help. I ended up needing a replacement tire (always buy the road hazard insurance!!) which they had in stock. The customer service at this location is top-tier. Cooper greeted me with a smile and was able to do a pre-assessment on my Tesla tire. Then tire pressures were all over the place. It is not the tag on the door. it is our altitude, and time of year. I change tire pressure for summer and fall. My daughter brought her Jeep in today to have a flat fixed. The flat tire was changed out with the spare and placed in the back of the Jeep. The technician thought that the spare, which was on the Jeep, was the tire that needed to be repaired because it had the same wheel as the other tires. He couldn't find an issue with it so he dismounted the tire from the rim. Once he realized his mistake he fixed the flat and put it back on the Jeep. He then found that the spare, all though almost in brand new condition, was older than 10 years. Because of safety concerns with the old spare tire he mounted a brand new tire to the spare wheel. He did this free of charge even though I was fully expecting to pay for a new tire. I have been using Discount Tire solely for all of my cars over 20 plus years and today's experience cemented why I am loyal. Thanks for the great service! read more

During an oil change service, the local car dealer found a nail in my tire and gave me an estimate for a new one. Since we had a warranty with Discount Tire, I contacted them about a replacement. The tire pattern had changed since I bought them, so I decided to replace 2 tires. When I went for my appointment, I mentioned that I hadn't been losing air in the tire with the nail. The technician (sadly, I neglected to get his name) came out with a pliers and soapy water, pulled out the nail, and determined it had only gone into the tread, not into the tire. They easily could have just replaced the tires and charged me. I'm so impressed by their honesty. Highly recommend!! read more

Everything I go to this location they want extras. Last time it was a tire, then told them replace it I bought the warranty. They came back an stated oopps we don't have in stock. So now the wife brings my truck to these clowns. Outer rear tire needs air. They have her wait 2 hours because there machine can't put air in tire. The girl stated it needs to be in a cage to add air. You'd figure a company this big would have the right attachment needed to add air to a tire. Now I've seen cages, normally it's for split rims. Updated Review: After hearing about my flat tire and flat spare, Discount sent a tow truck to my location and picked up my car for free. They fixed my flats and returned my vehicle to me the same day. My original review was bad, but Discount Tire's response to it far exceeded my expectations. Original Review: I visited this location to get my tire inspected and repaired as I suspected it had a slow leak. Discount told me everything was good to go and the tire was "fine." Went to Prescott from LA to visit friends. Pulling out of hotel to return , noticed low air pressure warning. Drove to Discount across street. Couldn't have been treated better. We came to Prescott for the first time for valentines day. Everything was great, we were set to leave this morning after breakfast well when leaving the hotel lobby we got a flat, so the normal thing to do was fix it went to several different tire shops until this tire shop had our tire, well the service started rocky on top of that it took from 10:38 am untill 11:35 to fix a sin gle tire and not put the spare tire back on and one of the guards to my tire weld was off this shop here has employees that have no idea how to replace your spare tire and not let you leave their establishment with a tire gard hanging from your vehicle. My husband gave them the pass because they were young...Not me he would expect perfection from our kids. Companys are quick to charge you for service but give you crappy service. read more

We usually go to discount tires in California and happened to be visiting Arizona when we found the air pressure light was on in our vehicle. We pulled over to the closest discount tires store on Lee Road in Prescott. Brandon quickly and efficiently checked our tires in the Air Tire Station, a special area blocked off to check air pressure. The right back tire was low so he sent us inside so the tire could be checked before we headed back to California. We were greeted with a smile by several young man. One of them quickly went out to the vehicle. It was 5:50pm and they close at 6pm but they were willing to take care of us even though we had two customers ahead of us. They told us it would be a 40-45 minute wait. At 6:05 PM they pulled the car back and started working on the tire. It was completed by 6:30 PM. There was a nail in the tire and they fixed it for free!!!! This group of guys were awesome! They were all working together to clean up the bay and we're all so friendly. Five stars !! read more
