Today, while visiting Prescott I had s tire issue. I called GoAZ first I bought my Indian Challenge at GoAZ in 2021. GoAZ parts was great, she was friendly and helpful. They didn't have the tire in stock but could get it by Wednesday. I found a tire in Mayer at the Harley Davidson but I'll get to back to that. I asked if I got the tire and got there by 4 could they get me in to swallow the tire out since we need to be on the road in the morning. He said his guys were itching to go home. So I inquired about Wednesday and he said they didn't hsve to tools to swap the tire. Unfortunately there is no special tools needed for changing a tire. Liberty Harley Davidson had 1 tire for $400 however he was rude and acted like he was put out for having to go look for the tire. Then he let me know that he can't work on anything but a Harley Davidson. I let him know it was an unexpected emergency and he said they aren't allowed. The most helpful person in town was the manager at Discount tire. He called around tried to set stuff up and was friendly. I could her the guy from liberty Harley Davidson telling him he'd already told the guy on the Indian he can't change it. So we rented a U-hual and were taking home. The tire prices are about $100 more than the valley. Clearly Go AZ and Liberty Harley Davidson don't care about riders in the least. I wouldn't buy anything from Prescott Valley GoAz or Liberty HD. They aren't about riders. read more

I called here, first, to see if they had the tires I needed since one of mine exploded and I was running on the spare. Guy I spoke to said they had three price choices all in stock. He was helpful, friendly and smart. I got there and showed them the exploded one on the good rim and that I had put in the hatchback spare tire area. He suggested buying two tires and I agreed. Again the guy was helpful, friendly and smart. I pay a good price and after about 1 hour it's done. Two new tires I staffed a the real rims and spare tire put away. So far an excellent experience. Then I drove the car. The massive rattling around in the spare tire area tells me something is way wrong. I pull over and look in the back spare tire area and the large cover panel is not fitting and raised about 6 inches up from where it should be. The jack and lug wrench are misplaced to the side of the spare tire instead of in their proper holder, with their molded in shape/outline so anyone can easily see how the go back in. The way the jack, lug wrench and tire were just thrown in made so much noice and tire are cover not close to fitting and the large screw that holds it all down rolling around with every turn, brake, bump or acceleration. Took me about 5 minutes to get it all out and then back in correctly. Since everything was already out of the back of my car when then they went to put it back together It should have taken then about 2 minutes to do it right since it took me five to pull it all out and then put it back in. Two minutes guys! Spend the two minutes next time. Not all that big of a deal for me because I know my car and figured they just did a terrible job putting it together and I fixed it. What about people who get this horrible service and they don't know their car well, or they are very young or very old drivers, hearing all that noise in the back. They would have to take it back to Discount Tire, complain and wait until they did the replacement of the spare into its area correctly. That turns a good buying experience with friendly smart people, giving great service, and turning it into a pain the neck bad experience. Probably just one slacker mechanic and it makes the whole place look bad. Find the guy who is doing such an inexcusably bad job putting spares back in people's car and retrain him or get rid of him. He's making a joke of all the of the great work the other staff do. read more

I required 4 new tires for my vehicle. I tried to reach another place but put on hold and they hung up on me twice. I then tried discount and also could not get through. But I still needed tires I tried to login online but that did not work. So I called their 800 number and Sonia immediately picked up the call. I pretty much knew what I wanted and she took my order then looked at other tire dealers for best price for me and reduced the price accordingly. I asked for a military discount and she gave me that then a AAA as well. The price was great. I'm not sure why but I always end up at Discount tire. Their service has also improved for pre-orders. You make an appt. Then take your vehicle in and they have a spot marked for you. They take your vehicle immediately in and thus your only waiting for the actual tire installation. Outstanding. I'll definetly be back. read more

I have a Subaru & purchased a set of 4 tires there which have been awesome. I'd been there before for a set of tires on a different car. I pop in for the free tire pressure check & they also check your front & rear wiper blades which I've purchased & had installed there. Everyone is polite, friendly, professional & competent. No bad experiences in my 6+ years here! Many thumbs up ! read more

An hour and a half quote just to rotate tires bought from this establishment. Everyone else walking in while waiting for the vehicle that hasn't moved in the first hour and 15 minutes, (they) (other customers),being told 45 minutes for a complete change? I guess when you pay an absorbed amount of money, you are treated differently than having the guaranteed maintenance. Possibly a game changer when it comes to buying my next set of tires and going to look at Costco. Plus, the up charging to women and the elderly is sickening! This is no longer the Discount Tire I remember 30 years ago. read more

"WE CARE MOST ABOUT YOUR SAFETY." That's what I was told when I came in Friday for a free tire pressure check. Knew front tires were bald, but freaked when I was shown the steel belting sprouting out the top of the tires. The assistant manager checked to see if free used tires were waiting for disposal, but not for my rims. Four days from my Social Security deposit, my panic exploded. Not to worry, he said! Two new tires were installed with my promise I'd come in to pay the bill on Monday. When I looked at the receipt Friday night, the payment balance was ZERO. The assistant manager was very surprised to see me Monday to pay the bill. "We care most about your safety, so we essentially gave you the tires." Because I showed up to pay, he gave me a discount. My loyalty to Prescott Discount Tire is forever because their customer is top priority, not profit. Frankly, I'm still in shock! read more

I was in Prescott for a day this past week and unfortunately had a freaky tire puncture, so I headed to this Discount Tire for a repair. Within fifteen minutes my car was rilling into the bay for the repair. Another ten minutes and the tech appeared to give me the bad news that the puncture was unrepairable. Another 10minutes and we had agreed on a new tire for just $180 out the door! Another 20mins and my car rolled up to the front door and I was on my way in a total time of about an hour and a quarter. I recommend Discount Tire which has worked for me several times and this location in particular. John F. was one person I dealt with. read more

Although i scheduled an appointment for tire service, i had to cancel after seeing The entrance to the facility. I have a motorhome that would not be able to negotiate the entrance without the potential of removing the underbody connections for my back and grey tanks. I was referred to a sister facility in Prescott Valley that would have a better entrance. read more

Great Experience here and 5 STARS.... We were on our way to Phoenix for Thanksgiving late Wed and had our RV with a low dually inside tire...... . Huge shoutout to John and his staff at Discount in Prescott. I live in Phoenix and have been using them for years for multiple vehicles. We made a trip to Prescott this last Saturday and had tire issues, apparently we hit something in the road and caused a gash in the tire. We stopped by on our way home just before 2 PM. John said he was a little short staffed but assured they could help. I ended up needing a replacement tire (always buy the road hazard insurance!!) which they had in stock. Long story short, we were on our way in less than hour. Always great service from these guys ... read more

The customer service at this location is top-tier. Cooper greeted me with a smile and was able to do a pre-assessment on my Tesla tire. The guys are good, customer service is OK but don't bother making an appointment because you have to wait in line for your appointment for half an hour before they check you in and then you don't get your car done until after all the walk-ins even though you had an appointment because they don't check the people in line for appointments read more

terrible management. I was organized they were not. First sold me the wrong size tire based on my car, but failed to look up special model. Did not do appointment next day for tire change on time. Then tire pressures were all over the place. It is not the tag on the door. it is our altitude, and time of year. I change tire pressure for summer and fall. The really do not know how to do business. read more

Took my Tesla in for tire rotation and was pleasantly surprised when I had received the paperwork from the young man (who explained what they did/found) and when to the counter to pay they told me I owed nothing! Not sure if it's because they could see (by my phone number) that I've used them previously? This is the first time I've taken my Tesla in to one of these locations but I will DEFINITELY be back! Good to know I have a reliable tire place to go, so thank you Discount Tire on Lee Blvd, you made my Monday! read more

My daughter brought her Jeep in today to have a flat fixed. The flat tire was changed out with the spare and placed in the back of the Jeep. The technician thought that the spare, which was on the Jeep, was the tire that needed to be repaired because it had the same wheel as the other tires. He couldn't find an issue with it so he dismounted the tire from the rim. Once he realized his mistake he fixed the flat and put it back on the Jeep. He then found that the spare, all though almost in brand new condition, was older than 10 years. Because of safety concerns with the old spare tire he mounted a brand new tire to the spare wheel. He did this free of charge even though I was fully expecting to pay for a new tire. I have been using Discount Tire solely for all of my cars over 20 plus years and today's experience cemented why I am loyal. Thanks for the great service! read more

They are very busy and do not seem to be as detailed as I would expect. I purchased four new tires and they did not even put my spare tire away. I had to question, then they apologized and got it taken care of. Simple details matter. read more

Kind of a funky location with tiny parking lot for the amount of business going in and out of this location but well worth the visit!! Had 4 new tires on and balanced in under an hour, highly recommend! read more

Everything I go to this location they want extras. Last time it was a tire, then told them replace it I bought the warranty. They came back an stated oopps we don't have in stock. So now the wife brings my truck to these clowns. Outer rear tire needs air. They have her wait 2 hours because there machine can't put air in tire. The girl stated it needs to be in a cage to add air. You'd figure a company this big would have the right attachment needed to add air to a tire. Now I've seen cages, normally it's for split rims. The location in kingman is just so much better. read more

I'm editing this review in light of the customer service I received following a bad experience. Updated Review: After hearing about my flat tire and flat spare, Discount sent a tow truck to my location and picked up my car for free. They fixed my flats and returned my vehicle to me the same day. My original review was bad, but Discount Tire's response to it far exceeded my expectations. Original Review: I visited this location to get my tire inspected and repaired as I suspected it had a slow leak. Discount told me everything was good to go and the tire was "fine." This is what the tire looked like a few hours after the appointment. I guess "fine" is the new term for "flat." read more

During an oil change service, the local car dealer found a nail in my tire and gave me an estimate for a new one. Since we had a warranty with Discount Tire, I contacted them about a replacement. The tire pattern had changed since I bought them, so I decided to replace 2 tires. When I went for my appointment, I mentioned that I hadn't been losing air in the tire with the nail. The technician (sadly, I neglected to get his name) came out with a pliers and soapy water, pulled out the nail, and determined it had only gone into the tread, not into the tire. They easily could have just replaced the tires and charged me. I'm so impressed by their honesty. Highly recommend!! read more

I took my daughters car into the Discount store near talking stick to replace all 4 tires on her car. The service technician came out and his first comment was that the tires looked fine, I explained she was off to college and I wanted to make sure the tires were 100%. He was able to offer me a great price and proceeded to get the car into the bay right on schedule. We came to Prescott for the first time for valentines day. Everything was great, we were set to leave this morning after breakfast well when leaving the hotel lobby we got a flat, so the normal thing to do was fix it went to several different tire shops until this tire shop had our tire, well the service started rocky on top of that it took from 10:38 am untill 11:35 to fix a sin gle tire and not put the spare tire back on and one of the guards to my tire weld was off this shop here has employees that have no idea how to replace your spare tire and not let you leave their establishment with a tire gard hanging from your vehicle. My husband gave them the pass because they were young...Not me he would expect perfection from our kids. Companys are quick to charge you for service but give you crappy service. read more
