What a great experience. I reached out to Danny on Saturday and asked about 4 tires for my vehicle. They had to order them and said they would be in Monday. I received a call Monday morning saying the tires were in. I told him I wouldn't be able to bring it until the afternoon. So I went to shop and got a text saying my car would be done about 10:45, 40 minutes later than they said. I walked to Discount Tire to ask, left my cart at Aldi. They said no, maybe 10. So I was walking back to Aldi to get my cart and a worker popped out the back door and said it would be 5, I can come help you get your groceries. I said no, I'll bring the cart over. He proceeded to help me put my groceries in my car, handed me a quarter and said he would return my cart! And my tire fix was free! Wonderful experience! So we will not return here. I bought 4 new tires and returned to them a week later when my vehicle began shaking at 70mph. They rebalanced the tires and advised one of my tires has a bent rim. They asked me to return when their rim guy is in and pay $125 to have this corrected. I told them unless you bent it, I didn't have this problem before I came in. That was the wrong thing to say because he ended our conversation and I left. 2 weeks later I stopped in at a different Discount tire shop and asked them to balance my tires, which they did . A technician at this location told me all four tires were "way out of balance." Since the tires have been rebalanced my car is now perfect again. Service left 2 of my wheels SCRATCHED and lug nuts stripped. My husband took his sport cars here and they were great. HOWEVER, if you have a normal car or SUV, the techs who work on those cars are very bad: careless and not well trained. Exhibit A: I took my dad's car here a while ago and got his tires changed. He went to Subaru yesterday and they told him that whoever worked on his car last (which was Discount Tires) tighten the lug nuts too tight and they cannot work on them. It was supposed to be 89lbs and when Subaru checked it was 120lbs. This is extremely reckless on their part; putting their customers at risk. Exhibit B: I also recently took my car there for tire change (2021 Lexus SUV with only 5k); came back with both my wheels on the passenger side SEVERELY scratched. According to the representative, it was because they didn't "cone" it right or something. I went home and checked my lug nut torque range (after the incident with my dad's car), it was over 110 while it was supposed to be around 80lbs. Overall, I gotta give them some credit for staffs being very nice and professional. They did compensate for my wheels damage which I rather not have to deal with in the first place if they would have just been more careful. Bottom line, the techs are inexperienced, careless and will ruin your car. If you had your car serviced here, PLEASE have your dealership RECHECK torque range, tire pressure, balance and alignment! read more

Replaced all 4 tires December 26th 2020 at 100368 miles. I had 2 tire rotations and today I went for a 3rd and they told me my 2 front tires need replaced. I had bought the Goodyear Assurance MaxLife tires that are rated for 85000 miles. My van just hit 125000 miles. So 2 of the tires get 25000 miles on them and need replaced. I had no appointment after making a trip from horrible tires plus in loganville and not only did they get me in right away, but they treated my mother and I like a queen. I made an appointment, it was hassle free and the staff was courteous, polite.. overall amazing. A few days ago I called, as I thought I had a screw stuck in my tire... they told me to come in right away, as I have free fixes and rotations for the life of my tires. Thankfully, it was a short screw and was just stuck in the tread. They still inflated my tires, as they were low due to the cold, and tire shined them. They also suggested, during the colder months, to come in for a monthly check and they would check and inflate them for free. Who else does this? This place is one of the best at customer service, I used to get tires from Mavis but once they stopped honoring mileage warranties, I stopped by discount, guess what they honored the warranty even though the tires were not purchased thru them. The only reason I didnt give them a 5 star rating is they do not do things like alignments, and that's kind of important when getting new tires. I woke up Thursday morning to a flat tire. Certainly nobody's fault. These things happen. I take my car to Discount Tire in Loganville to get a new tire because I have a warranty. Soon after I get there the power goes out. Certainly not Discount Tires fault. There was an accident down the road that caused all the power to go out. I was about to leave when the serviceman said just leave your tire with us, we will repaired as soon as the power comes back on, and then give you a call. By 5:15 p.m. I had not received the call, so I called them. The person that pick up the phone said the power had been back on for 3 hours and he would check on the status of my one tire. He came back to the line after a few minutes and said I'm sorry but they're working on it right now. I told him I was on my way and he said it would be finished by the time I got there. When I arrived, they hadn't even started. So I guess they just ignored my tire for the last 5 hours. They did not replace it, they repaired it. I did have a problem that because the warranty says repair or replace. I took it home without any problem. When I woke up Friday morning, the tire was flat again! At this point I was not very happy. I took the tire back up to Discount Tire they apologize... But I told him I would not accept the repair that I wanted a new tire. They agreed. They called me an hour later and told me that the tire was ready and that if I came back they would put it on immediately. I arrived there 20 minutes later and I had to wait 40 minutes for them to put one tire on. As far as I'm concerned given that it was something from the day before, I should not have had to wait in line. When my car's ready I went outside and I noticed they did not put the hubcap on. I went back to tell them they did not put the hubcap on and the gentleman apologized and said he could pull it back in... But by then I was completely frustrated and I left and brought it home and did it myself. The way the hubcap is made, you have to put the hubcap on before the lug nuts. That's something I pointed out to them yesterday. So much for good customer service. I'm pretty sure I will not be returning to this location. read more
