What a great experience. I reached out to Danny on Saturday and asked about 4 tires for my vehicle. They had to order them and said they would be in Monday. I received a call Monday morning saying the tires were in. I told him I wouldn't be able to bring it until the afternoon. When I pulled in to parking lot he came and greeted me in the parking lot by name. Not only that but he went over what they were going to do and how they were going to put the best remaining tire as a spare because my spare was original. Wow. They pulled my car in and started working on it before my ride got there. Less than an hour later I get a call saying the car was done. So I was walking back to Aldi to get my cart and a worker popped out the back door and said it would be 5, I can come help you get your groceries. I said no, I'll bring the cart over. After giving their customer service a test run the week before with a free tire rotation I was convinced they would do a good job. Went by to see if they had the tires i wanted in stock and they had to order them which they arrive the next day. Their price was very competitive and they also matched installation pricing from a local competitor which lowered the out the door price a few dollars more. So we will not return here. I bought 4 new tires and returned to them a week later when my vehicle began shaking at 70mph. They rebalanced the tires and advised one of my tires has a bent rim. They asked me to return when their rim guy is in and pay $125 to have this corrected. I told them unless you bent it, I didn't have this problem before I came in. That was the wrong thing to say because he ended our conversation and I left. 2 weeks later I stopped in at a different Discount tire shop and asked them to balance my tires, which they did . A technician at this location told me all four tires were "way out of balance." Since the tires have been rebalanced my car is now perfect again. Service left 2 of my wheels SCRATCHED and lug nuts stripped. My husband took his sport cars here and they were great. HOWEVER, if you have a normal car or SUV, the techs who work on those cars are very bad: careless and not well trained. Exhibit A: I took my dad's car here a while ago and got his tires changed. He went to Subaru yesterday and they told him that whoever worked on his car last (which was Discount Tires) tighten the lug nuts too tight and they cannot work on them. It was supposed to be 89lbs and when Subaru checked it was 120lbs. This is extremely reckless on their part; putting their customers at risk. Exhibit B: I also recently took my car there for tire change (2021 Lexus SUV with only 5k); came back with both my wheels on the passenger side SEVERELY scratched. According to the representative, it was because they didn't "cone" it right or something. I went home and checked my lug nut torque range (after the incident with my dad's car), it was over 110 while it was supposed to be around 80lbs. Overall, I gotta give them some credit for staffs being very nice and professional. They did compensate for my wheels damage which I rather not have to deal with in the first place if they would have just been more careful. Bottom line, the techs are inexperienced, careless and will ruin your car. If you had your car serviced here, PLEASE have your dealership RECHECK torque range, tire pressure, balance and alignment! read more

Replaced all 4 tires December 26th 2020 at 100368 miles. I had 2 tire rotations and today I went for a 3rd and they told me my 2 front tires need replaced. I had bought the Goodyear Assurance MaxLife tires that are rated for 85000 miles. My van just hit 125000 miles. So 2 of the tires get 25000 miles on them and need replaced. The problem I had was not knowing beforehand that they do not do alignments which I feel like any tire company should not be open without having that service an option. I'm a long time discount tire fan but my trip there on Friday May 31st was phenomenal. I had no appointment after making a trip from horrible tires plus in loganville and not only did they get me in right away, but they treated my mother and I like a queen. All work was completed within the hour and the job was done perfectly. I'll be using this location for years to come. This place is one of the best at customer service, I used to get tires from Mavis but once they stopped honoring mileage warranties, I stopped by discount, guess what they honored the warranty even though the tires were not purchased thru them. The only reason I didnt give them a 5 star rating is they do not do things like alignments, and that's kind of important when getting new tires. They have my business FOR LIFE. If you walk in and read their "Integrity" statement on their wall, you would wish more businesses adhered to their principles and service. A few days ago I called, as I thought I had a screw stuck in my tire... they told me to come in right away, as I have free fixes and rotations for the life of my tires. Thankfully, it was a short screw and was just stuck in the tread. They still inflated my tires, as they were low due to the cold, and tire shined them. They also suggested, during the colder months, to come in for a monthly check and they would check and inflate them for free. Who else does this? A five star deal except they grossly overinflated the new tires. If there was a reason they did not share. I drove until the TPMS reset, then manually checked with dial-gauge, still way over. So good shop, good deal, but considering how important proper inflation is a really dumb step from a business that sells tires. read more

Tires not balanced. Waited 6 hrs the first trip, 2 the second, 4 the third & never went back. Now I find out they didn't replace the valve stem in 1 tires & it's been leaking ever since. Was told they did work they didn't & they didn't do work I paid for. Sorry sorry business if you don't know exactly what to look for. Don't trust them. I woke up Thursday morning to a flat tire. Certainly nobody's fault. These things happen. I take my car to Discount Tire in Loganville to get a new tire because I have a warranty. Soon after I get there the power goes out. Certainly not Discount Tires fault. There was an accident down the road that caused all the power to go out. I was about to leave when the serviceman said just leave your tire with us, we will repaired as soon as the power comes back on, and then give you a call. By 5:15 p.m. I had not received the call, so I called them. The person that pick up the phone said the power had been back on for 3 hours and he would check on the status of my one tire. He came back to the line after a few minutes and said I'm sorry but they're working on it right now. I told him I was on my way and he said it would be finished by the time I got there. When I arrived, they hadn't even started. So I guess they just ignored my tire for the last 5 hours. They did not replace it, they repaired it. I did have a problem that because the warranty says repair or replace. I took it home without any problem. When I woke up Friday morning, the tire was flat again! At this point I was not very happy. I took the tire back up to Discount Tire they apologize... But I told him I would not accept the repair that I wanted a new tire. They agreed. They called me an hour later and told me that the tire was ready and that if I came back they would put it on immediately. I arrived there 20 minutes later and I had to wait 40 minutes for them to put one tire on. As far as I'm concerned given that it was something from the day before, I should not have had to wait in line. When my car's ready I went outside and I noticed they did not put the hubcap on. I went back to tell them they did not put the hubcap on and the gentleman apologized and said he could pull it back in... But by then I was completely frustrated and I left and brought it home and did it myself. The way the hubcap is made, you have to put the hubcap on before the lug nuts. That's something I pointed out to them yesterday. So much for good customer service. I'm pretty sure I will not be returning to this location. read more

i had a negative experience my very first time there, nick was dishonest with me and tried to take advantage of me being a woman and thinking i don't know anything about cars or tires. i decided to give them another chance a few weeks later and i got a completely different consultation by the manager brandon. brandon educated me, demonstrated what he was doing and used good judgement. i was livid and was fearing for every customer walking in there talking to nick after the excellent service i received form brandon. i was initially told my front left and rear right tires were in such bad condition i may not make it another couple weeks without getting new or at least used tires. after one month, not only did i never get a flat, the only tire with red tread from their chart was my front left which i already knew about. all of my other three tires were in the green with tread and didn't need to be replaced. for weeks before i went in the second time, i was wondering if i'd be able to make it a few weeks without getting a flat. had i listened to nick, i would have have bought 2 used tires one of which would have been replacing a perfectly good tire!!!!! your employees should be just as honest with your customers as they would their wife, daughter, mother or sister. thank goodness i went back for a second opinion with brandon and he was honest and straightforward with me. i will continue to use discount tire, but beware of dishonest ones and always get 2 opinions preferably one from a manager! thanks brandon! read more
