They put the wrong size tires on my vehicle so had to take my vehicle back in the next day to get correct size tires and I was charged an extra $100 and she said I was going to have to get another alignment which was another $125. I said you can't just char me these prices after you quoted me and I was financed for that price, she told me she could charge me whatever she wanted! I told her I wanted to cancel my order it had been less than 12 hours and she said she could not do that. The owner told her to give me the tires for the quoted price and I didn't need another alignment. i was very grateful to him. The next week I get my lease agreement and I was charged the extra $100 for the tires. i don't know if this is just a coincidence but three days after g my tires on, my brake light, ABS light and service traction control light are on, on my dashboard. I was charged $500 for 2 size 16 tires and an alignment which was $100.

They took over an hour to tell me that they couldn't patch it because it was too close to the side (it wasn't) and they would need to order a tire to replace it. They instead spent that time completing a full (unrequested) inspection and provide a laundry list of services they wanted to do including changing a cabin air filter I had just replaced a couple months prior. I left after they wasted an hour and did nothing but ask me to pay for service I didn't need. I took the truck to a different service center who not only confirmed that the screw was not too close to the side to patch, but that it was small enough it hadn't even penetrated the tire. TLDR- don't go here unless you want them to waste your time and try to sell you hundreds of dollars of unnecessary services.

On November 5 they took the wheels and tires back and said they would refund my money. I still have not received the full refund. They have a check at the Lancaster store but it is $260 shy of the purchase price. They told me that is because it's a nonrefundable deposit. I would understand that if I backed out, but it was a defective product.

AAA was kind enough to temporarily plug the hole and get me on my way, admonishing me to seek a more permanent repair before returning to Pennsylvania. Thursday morning as I was pulling into work, I noticed that the tire was losing air again, giving me a warning light. That morning, I scheduled a repair at Tire Choice on North Memorial in Lancaster. A technician came out to check my tire. He said that the repair couldn't be done as it was closer than an inch from the sidewall. I said that the center of the hole was 1.33 innches from the sidewall ( I had measured it). He said, " Well, that's too close for me and I'm not comfortable." He shrugged and walked away. That was it. No help. It would have been hard for him to care less how I was going to get home to Pennsylvania. I was in trouble; I was desperate. Fortunately, on my way to Tire choice, I remembered passing Katz Tires. I turned my car around and headed south on North Memorial. It was a block or two away. They could not have been kinder. The technician had me pull my car immediately in front of a bay. Two or three of them descended on the car. They applied a soapy mix and found that the repair wasn't producing any bubbles. They pulled the tire off and found that I must have driven too long on the deflating tire and the belts were beginning to show. I needed a replacement to get home. Since I had four new tires waiting for me at home, they provided me a used tire to get home. They saved the day. Bottom line: whereas Tire Choice offered me no assistance in getting home, Katz Tires saved the Day by going the extra mile when it came to providing diagnostics. If you want my opinion, keep driving past Tire Choice to Katz Tires where they will go the extra mile for you and get you safely to your destination..

Not satisfied to just take a chunk of tire, that greedy pot hole felt the need to take a chunk of aluminum rim to go with it. It took some investigation work and calling around town but this is the place that had my replacement rim for the Saab. Even a 20 year old aluminum rim from Sweden was not too obscure of a wheel for these guys. If you ever find yourself in a similar predicament this should be one of the first calls you make.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE…read more I brought my Mercedes E350 to Tire Choice #0601 because of a front-end knocking noise and asked them to diagnose and repair the problem. They diagnosed suspension components as the cause and recommended over $1,700 in repairs. After keeping my car for several days and failing to return calls and voicemails, I finally got through to them and was told the repairs were completed--but the knocking noise was still there. I paid $1,704.45 and picked up my car with the exact same problem I brought it in for. I was also told their alignment machine/software did not have the specifications for my vehicle, yet the invoice states that alignment was declined by the customer. To make matters worse, they entered the wrong mileage on my invoice. My car has approximately 60,000 miles, but the invoice shows the vehicle leaving the shop with nearly 100,000 miles. I now have to spend my own time dealing with the consequences of that error and making sure it does not affect my vehicle history. Paying over $1,700 and leaving with the same unresolved problem is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere, especially if you need an accurate diagnosis rather than simply replacing parts and hoping for the best.

As I was getting ready to leave without a purchase, another tech told me I really only needed one tire - which I bought elsewhere. Recently, I had a screw in the dead center of a new tire and nowhere near the sidewall. I wanted it patched. NTB claimed they couldn't do it because I drove on the tire (just enough to discover it was flat and change it for the doughnut) and that doing so damaged the sidewall (how? Since the puncture is in the center and nowhere near the sidewall) and that I needed a new $200+ tire. Again, it was confirmed by a trusted second option that the tire could be safely patched. Will I go to NTB to replace all the tires on my used camper? Nope. I don't enjoy being paid and overpaying for the priviledge

I explained my circumstances, he said come on over. I did. I'll just say "don't judge a book by it cover". His shop is pretty gnarly looking. He and his worked were nice as pie and as luck had it they had a tire, used but good my size . In matter of minutes he had that tire on the rim and on the truck. I paid him "70 bucks" for everything and was on my way. Total lost travel time only 2 hours (I was happy with that) thanks to Steve and his gnarly shop. They told me "we didn't think you cared about your car" "we did what we thought would get you by" and even said "we didn't test drive it" after I voiced my concerns over my brakes being sketchy. They even basically admitted they discriminated against my car itself. After the 1st time they gave me back my car I should of just went to another shop. The brakes immediately after getting it back felt like they were going to completely fail. Took it in a 2nd time and more issues miraculously popped up. After that...the 3rd time MORE issues popped up which in total was a little over 2,000$. They ended up messing up the brakes yet again so I went to a different shop where it cost me 600$ to fix what Good Grip said was fixed and the noise was most likely my suspension that I was hearing. I should've investigated further into this shop before going to it and I would of known to avoid this place entirely. Like others, it's very close to where I live and that makes it convenient. Shame on them for not caring about their customers. Shame on them for using warped parts or not double checking after putting them on, using very cheap brake pads, not caring enough to even test drive a car after a brake job, discriminating against my car I drive and not giving me the same respect as others, etc. IF YOU WANT RELIABLE SERVICE AND SAFETY IN MIND PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.
