I did not make an appointment and needed new tires. They got me in the same day and had a good deal on their tires that week, so that worked out! I returned about 3 months later because I, of course ran over a nail! They got me into an appointment and 23 minutes later my tire was fixed and I was out the door. Christmas morning I went to put some air in my tires before heading to visit family about an hour away. Unfortunately the free air machine at Giant Eagle was messed up and did the exact opposite of filling my tire... it busted off the stem and deflated it, leaving me stranded. I had more travel coming up and needed to get it fixed ASAP the next day. After going to another spot in Grove City that said it would take four hours, I decided to give Firestone a try since it was really close by. The gentleman working the front was super helpful and said he could get it done in about an hour and they had the specific piece I needed - what a lifesaver. About an hour in they called to let me know that it would be a little longer, which was much appreciated. I just shopped around at the nearby stores until it was ready. Not only was the staff super helpful and informative, but they communicated with me really well. Oh so frustrating. First is not Firestone's problem. ODOT had a wonderful idea to totally screw up 270 and 23 making non rush hour a major headache and rush hour being like the movie Mad Max. Knowing this I scheduled an appointment for noon. I know, noon on Stringtown Road is just as bad but not for this guy. I arrived at 1030 ( pretty smart huh?!) Told the guy I was early but had an appointment and would be around town. Did some shopping grabbed lunch looked at my watch,,, ok my car clock because who wears a watch? No call it's 1:30. I'll give them a few extra minutes. Then head home at 2:00. Bypass the gauntlet by going up to 104. Arrive at home. At 3:40 I call " oh yeah it's coming down now. Will be ready when you get here". Arrive to find it was not ready as and it will be another 20 minutes. "I'll call when it is ready". We since I have inconvenienced someone most of the day to tote me around we went down to grab a cold coffee and wait. 20, 30, 40, at the 45 minute mark I say enough. Return to find it parked waiting for me. Arrive home at 6:00. read more

Had the worst ending to my work day today when I got a flat tire on the way home. I called here 20 minutes before close (and totally told them I felt terrible for doing it!) but they told me to come on over and were fantastic with everything! I got my oil change done there in September. It is now March when I go to get another oil change at a different company. They told me that my skid plate was held up by zip ties and damaged. Mind you this is a new car with only 60 thousand miles on it. I went back to firestone to address this problem and the person at the front desk couldn't care less about what they had done to my car. I understand stuff happens and you can lose bolts, but the audacity to say my car was fine and send me on my way without telling me it was held up by zip ties is crazy to me. Now it's damaged and I'm supposed to be fine with it. The guy didn't even say sorry that this happened and said well that happened 6 months ago so. Never going to another firestone again if they are just going to lie to my face. read more

Horrible! I am a Credit Card clientele of Firestone. The closest store is the Grove City location. The TWO last times I went to "drop off" my car for an oil change, I was met with. "We only do oil changes by appointment." Hum, I went to the one on S High St and they took me right in. Went today to get TWO cars done and was told, we don't do walk ups. We are appt only and are very busy today. REALLY??? ONE person sitting there waiting for their car! ONE! Well, sorry, I went elsewhere and immediately got both oil changes. I will be cutting up my Firestone CC, since you are too busy, I will spend my money elsewhere! read more

I have been taking my car to this Firestone for years. The staff knows me by name and they always do great work. There is one staff member there that is not great, but you will have that everywhere. The manager Brian is great. There is another guy there that is super helpful but his name escapes me at the moment. They always break cost down for me and tell me what I do and do not need at the time. It's no longer convenient for me to go there but I won't take my car anywhere else. read more

I call and schedule for an appointment because it's easier for me to plan ahead than just go with the flow. My oil change appointment was done within 45 minutes and was quick and easy. I got some other shopping done by walking to the stores in the shopping center and when I was done in the stores my car was ready. Thanks for being there for us on the weekends! I made an appointment via their online reservation system. When I showed up, the person working said that he didn't see my appointment as it was in his "other folder"...? Of course they couldn't fit me in and there was no man to speak to about this online system issue. No issues getting into Discount Tire Co. down the road. Nice friendly place. Clean and prompt usually. The biggest downside is it is not complete auto care. Any major work like head gaskets, or if a engine needs to be taken apart to access spark plugs they cannot do that. It is more preventive maintenance like tires, oil changes, etc. They can change spark plugs but only if they are accessible. My car has two plugs that require parts to be taken off and they can't do that. They have been very busy the last couple of years due to a increase in customers and shortage of mechanics (due to shortage of people with a trade skill, not many people are going into trade jobs) so appointment helps and making time for it. A little pricey depending on what needs serviced but oil change is average, around $40-50 depending on make and model. Maybe more. read more

Worst customer service I have experienced when it comes to a Auto Care Business. I called to attempt to schedule an oil change. The first person I spoke with was pleasant and helpful and promptly transferred me to one of the service guys. Once he confirmed I could get my oil changed that day I asked another question regarding my power steeling reservoir (which I know my fluid is low and there is probably a leak). I asked what the process was like and pricing. He quickly said "I wouldn't do that" and then hung up on me. No further communication or giving me the opportunity to schedule my oil change. Once I called another company to discuss this they kindly explained the process and that not many companies can do that "procedure" so to speak. Was that so hard?? read more

Thieves ! Paid $20 fee to diagnose my issue with my air conditioning. Their evaluation came to conclude that I needed freon. After $90 of freon, and $100 of labor, $ 20 fee to inspect, it worked only once. I returned to have them tell me my compressor is cracked, it would cost me $500 before the actual labor. When asked why I paid 20 bucks before to diagnose the initial issue, could be given no real answer. Asked if the $200 could be applied to compressor issue, was merely told "Your out $200 bucks, sorry." I'm a single mother with a toddler out $200 when no resolution and I get an answer like that. Please Please don't be taken like I was ! I believe they also take great advantage of women...Don't invest in these thieves, their "warranties" mean nothing. read more

My Florida mechanic says my car was not properly serviced by this location. A/C broke as the wife and I started our drive back to Florida. Being a Sunday morning this was the only place we could find open. I do wish to thank them for fitting us in on an emergency basis. Thus, the two stars. But, we had to drive back to Florida with A/C on full max and barely putting out any cold air. At idle and in traffic it did not put out cold air at all. Back home we took our car to our local mechanic. They claim to have provided the same service as Firestone at a price $50 cheaper and.....my A/C is working great! Ice cold air at all times. Not being a mechanic I cannot point fingers. I can only judge by the results. read more
