So, when I came in for my service appointment and Jeff not only greeted me with a smile but made the process of purchasing 4 new tires so smooth and easy, I had to write a review. He checked my current tires and explained their condition. Mind you these are the same tires I drove off the lot with 3 1/2 years ago, so they were horrible. Jeff then pulled up a range of tires I could choose from and wasn't pushy in trying to get me to go for the expensive ones. He took the time to ask about my driving habits and then determined the best fit for me. He made me feel as if he really had my best interest at heart. David thoroughly reviewed my options. Didn't hesitate or try a hard sell when I didn't choose the high dollar tires. I pulled in on a donut tire and one that had been leaking for a while. After changing my tire I was pretty dirty and he offered the sink with the good soap they use in the shop. Normally, this place is great. But.... I don't know. I guess it was fine. They didn't call me to tell me my car was done. I was the only one left in the waiting room.. everyone else was called. My car had been done for 30 mins.... People are busy! I guess the post-service isn't as important to them after the billed is paid. The guy told me my car was in the back parked behind the dumpster/cargo area and handed me my keys. Thanks for not getting my car for me unlike every other person before me. Stopped by here to get some free air as advertised on a cold day and lo and behold when I got home I had no caps on my valves for the tires. I had to go to Volvo to get the OEM replacements which were over $20 so the free air cost me over $20 will not be coming back here again nor do I advise anyone to participate in the free air program. read more

Scheduled to have my flat tire fixed and tires rotated. They did offer to replace my wiper blades for 20 bucks, which is a pretty good deal. I got those done. They're going inspect your tires and suggest replacements if needed. Nothing wrong with that at all. You want that from a tire place. They fixed my flat tire, but didn't rotate my tires. read more

Soooooooo I read reviews and I knew immediately I was going to get good service upon arrival this morning. I caught an unexpected flat overnight and once I arrived the staff immediately addressed everyone when were waiting in line + they were so fast and efficient I was amazed seeing them go! When I got to the front desk the gentleman who helped me name was Christopher A M. He was very through and showed me all my options and explained to me how the warranty works and how I can make sure this never happens again to me. I was blown away because I had such a horrible start to my morning but he and the entire staff made it so much better for me. I would recommend them in a heart beat! I pray the owner sees this review because his staff is amazing! I wish we had this type of quality service all over the world the world would be such a better place! I don't write many reviews, maybe 7 in total for the last two decades, but I felt the need to write this one. This shop is now my family's one and only tire store. The customer service experience I had won me over. I had a minor tire issue, lug nut fell off, and called ahead to see the availability of service. I spoke to Jose and he said to come in because they weren't extremely busy. I live only .3 miles away, so I drove over as soon as we hung up. Jose immediately came out, put on a lug nut and checked the other tires to ensure those lugs weren't loose. He was friendly and genuinely seemed to want to make sure my car was able to drive safely. Because of the level of customer service and employees like Jose, I can't recommend this place more. read more

I tried leaving this review on Google but for some reason the process seems complicated from the last time I left a review for this 5 star indeed company. David! David thank you! Someone had left their trash all over highway 6 N leaving it up to the commuters to dodge it and I tried but did end up with a flat tire. It was 50 minutes past close and my son thought we might have about 15min left so we went. Yup they were closing up, 1 employee came out and told us we could leave the car there and come back in the morning. We had no other choice and was preparing to walk 2 miles to get home, 2 kids age 5 and 3 and a line in a stroller. As we were locking the door we see another kind man approach us and asked us what we needed help with. I told him what happened and that we were going to walk home and he said that he can get it fixed for us real quick. He told me the price and I didn't have anywhere near that. I called my family and the most I could come up with on such short notice was $50, he said that is fine. I paid him $50 and he said he knew there was a reason why God told him to stay back a little late. Thank you David! You surely are an angel. My thank he said, just put in a little prayer for me! DO NOT PURCHASE THE WARRANTY FOR TIRES. It doesn't save you from anything. I bought tires 2 years ago and the only thing good here is the free air check. Being the inflation going on the tires are too high! The service is good but they do try to persuade you to get shit you dont need like the warranty. Smh read more

This location knows whats up! Cris helped me out as soon as i walked in. I had had a nail in my tire 2 weeks ago and got it patched/plugged. Over the course of a few days, it dropped 10-12 PSI. I then would go and air it up, hoping it would keep the pressure, but of course it didnt. Cris came out with me to the car, inspected the tire and we went in to discuss options. I had bought the warranty back in December when I got these put on, so it was only $30sh dollars for a brand new one. I was in and out in 30 minutes. read more

This by far is my go to tire shop. They are very efficient. Pricing is always reasonable and service is top-notch. Over the past year I've probably visited four times with random nails in my tires. They have always taken care of me and worked with me on specific needs. Recently had an interaction with David who took care of me from beginning to end and even mounted tires onto my wheels. I came in with no appointment And the place was fairly packed for 8 AM on a Saturday morning. I spoke to David about what needed to be done, and he offered personally do it. I had wheels and tires ordered online and he took care and meticulously mounted tires no scratches no issues. I frequent this place for all my cars when I need wheels/ tires or plugs for a flat. I love this place! I bought my last set for my Subie months ago and I was treated so respectfully. Two days ago I was experiencing problems with my tires so I contacted them and immediately they scheduled me for an appointment. My appointment was very smooth from start to finish, the manager asked a few questions, checked my pressure, he found my air pressure was off. SCAM! My boyfriend spoke to the guy over the phone and asked about his tires saying he had a flat and to check his account if he had warranty and if they had the tires in stock. I kid you not the guy was like yes you have warranty and we have the tires come , on in when you can. My boyfriend gets there and the guy checks his tires and starts lying his teeth off. First he says the other tire is good but the flat tire one is balding past the state regulation and they cant replace even if you paid for warranty. Heres the catch he also said he doesn't have the tires he needs in stock. He checks again and he's like actually the 2 both need replacements and we have these 3 brands for your tires. So now all of sudden you have the tires? And apparently one tire problem became two? At this point does the worker even know what he is talking about? Seems very untrustworthy. So my boyfriend becomes a little worried and questionable of the knowledge and values of the worker. So he FaceTimes a car shop he usually goes to for his other cars and he shows the tires to him and he said that he should put air in the flat one and patch it at a local shop and go to this other car shop in which we did. Moral of the story if you want overpriced new tires at a fast service or to put air in your tire then go to discount tire but do NOT buy their warranty and they will lie their teeth off on replacing your tires early for a commission check. This is a COMMISSION based company!!! Funny enough im actually an active customer for them and the fact that I witnessed the man on the phone telling my bf that he was under warranty and that he wouldn't pay anything when my boyfriend asked multiple times. It's crazy to me! Also when you have a European car they try extra hard to sell you new tires. I went to put air in my Benz and he made me come out to check each tire with him lol and then proceed to tell me that they needed to be changed asap for around $1000. First off it was almost like he already had in mind that they were going to be bad before even checking it. Keep in mind I barely drive because I work remote and this car is only 2 years old. But when I take my 2012 van they never make me step outside to check each tires with them. Idk I've been a loyal customer with them for 6+ years and it may be time for a switch. Trying to make me get new tires- I get it it's business Over priced tires - okay I get it it's business ( inflation ) But lying on the phone and in front of my boyfriend in person...having poor customer service and unapologetic for making a employee error and sounding unreliable by changing up what is needed - I do not feel comfortable with that and I would 100% advise calling a alternative trustworthy car shop and have them walk everything through with you and pricing and do your research on how much your tires cost and how to check your tire yourself to prevent overpaying. read more

Worst discount tire ever. Had my wheels and tires done at a different location and wheels were brought from discount tire. Just had to connect my new tpms sensors onto my car. But some guy didnt wanna do it saying my tires were too small and that i needed a 94w and not a 93w like what.??? That makes no sense cause that is the speed rating you're talking about and proceeds to tell me that my car was too heavy for the tires, funny cause my tires were nitto invos, and rated at 1,444 pounds and my car is only 3,300 pounds. This is probably a good place to go if you want to get a new set of tires. But if you just want to get a flat tire fixed, please look for other options. I came in to get a flat tire fixed on a year old tire and the guy started giving me one reason after the other to make me buy a new pair. I was in a hurry, so i finally gave in and decided to keep the old ones to fix later. But then he started trying to sell me all 4. Even after i refused twice, he offered to buy my old ones at pennies and sell me all 4. If this was not enough, i kept watching the new customers who came after me and 3 off them fell for the same. They offer good prices and service/guarantee on new ones, so go only if you really plan to buy new ones. For fixing flats, look for other places, they seem to be scamming. read more

The best service ever. I came to this location after being recommended by a friend. I recently got a nail in my tire. I went to the dealership that I purchased the car from and they told me my tire wasn't fixable and that I would have to buy a brand new tire that would cost $230. The next day I came to discount tire and told them about the nail in my tire. To my surprise they fixed it for FREE. The Briar Forest location has been my choice for help with my tires for years because they have always been professional and provided quick reliable service. When my daughter experienced her first flat tire I immediately thought of Discount Tires on Briar Forest @ Eldridge. We went here to replace a tire that is covered under warranty by the dealership so there were specific steps my daughter and the employee needed to take to file a claim . It was a stressful situation. Steve was very nice, patient, and professional the whole time. Not once did he make us feel like a nuisance. I had to return the next day to complete the claim process and was greeted by Steve in the parking lot ready and willing to help complete the process. I've been a customer of discount tire for almost 20 years. Every tire I ever bought was from them. About a year and a half ago discount tires sold me a warrantee for a run flat tires on my BMW. I paid about $250 for the warranty. Since then I've had the tires rotated twice. I got a screw in one of my tires somehow. I went in to get the tire replaced and I was informed by one of the consultants that the tires were in fact not run flat tires and they did not fit my vehicle. After 30 minutes trying to figure out what he was going to do he informed me that they never should have sold me a warranty for those tires and they should've advised me that they did not fit my vehicle. The manager Justin Kimpenski actually made me feel like it was my fault. They offered to refund the price of the warranty and have me purchase new tires. To me this is on except a bowl because I bought a warranty for my tires and it's like they wanted to Welch out on servicing my tires. They wouldn't even rotate them even after they rotated them two times before at another store. I have always received good service from discount tire and I don't want to paint the entire company as bad. However this location has some serious issues with customer service. I wouldn't advise going here unless the manager was replaced. Choose another store. This is the worst experience I've ever had as a customer at discount tire. Needless to say I won't be using this store again when I replace my tires. If I can give them zero stars I would. read more

You know, where appointment times are meaningless and you have to wait your turn for those patients who didn't bother to call ahead.
