This has more to do with caliber of service than anything else. They are certainly courteous and friendly enough. Since I purchased my tires from these guys I thought, why don't I go in and have them rotated? The tech came in where I was waiting and told me that one of the lug nuts froze and asked if he could break it off. I was under the impression that it was going to be repaired or at least the repair would be offered, but it was returned to me with just four lug nuts attached to one of the tires. Now I am going to need to make a second trip in to another shop for repair. read more

Ordered tires from this store through the website where the company advertises a 3 to 5 day delivery. The store called to confirm my appointment, only for them to realize they only ordered two tires, instead of four.They said they would order two more and call to reschedule. It's now been almost two weeks and I haven't gotten a word from them since: an error I blame both on them for their inability to order my tires (twice) and the company for needing their employees to do that in the first place. With that said, Discount Tires has some of the best tire deals around, and the store is 90% to blame for the miscommunication and inefficiency. I'd have to recommend the Gresham Discount Tires over this one, they had a more open schedule and more tires in stock, I was able to make an appointment there for this week. read more

We have purchased two sets of tires here so far. One for my Honda Civic Si and my Civic Coupe. The staff here is friendly and helpful. They are quick to greet customers and offer assistance. I have had nothing but a good experience here. They are much cheaper than Les Schwab and offer the same tire services. I can usually get in and get my tires rotated and balanced in about 45 minutes. The only drawback is they only sell tires, they don't do alignments, brakes or any of the other services. But this is a tire shop after all. This is my tire shop of choice. I had bought tires here before over the years. Today, I decided to get one of my tires checked out. I bought this car a year ago. Over the past few months, the tire sensor light kept coming on. Ron Tonkin kept inspecting it and filling it up. Well, Discount Tires found a nail, fixed it and realigned it. Wow, they charged me zero for it. I didn't buy these tires from them either. Great job. I'm glad I went there and not Les Schwab. A great Monday morning. Had to go back here again because Ron Tonkin couldn't find the problem with my tires. They showed me the nail in plain sight. I always get excellent service when I visit Discount Tire. I used to get my tires at Costco but switched since their prices are comparable and even a little less. They do charge to change your tires whereas Costco doesn't. The convenience of them being close to home and excellent customer service makes it worth it. I arrived today around 2:10 pm to buy new tires and after selecting two tires and paying $300, Jacob told me it would be about 1.5 hours to flush out the cars and customers ahead of me. Fine. I returned at 345 pm, as directed, and was told that there were still 4 cars ahead of me. It is now 445 pm and my car still has not been serviced with the new tires! This is just about unacceptable, regardless of how much business is going through the shop at any one time. Car finally made it in at 457 pm with a slew of excuses. My next business for tires WILL DEFINITELY go to Les Schwab or Costco as this experience today is absolutely a DISASTER, especially since I have had to miss several important meetings. My mom's SUV got a flat tire so I brought it in for her this morning. She bought her tires here so they looked up her account and patched it for free! On top of that they had me out of there in less than an hour. Both employees I spoke to were really friendly and easy to talk to. I forgot to ask them at check in to see if the spare tire was broken. According to the roadside assistance guy, the latch was broken so I had to call a tow truck. I mentioned it when they brought the keys and receipt to me and they didn't hesitate to go right back out to check it. Turns out, it wasn't broken. Cam showed me how to use the tools in the trunk, pointed out the key hole, and lowered the tire to show that it definitely wasn't broken. He even offered to have the insurance company call and confirm with him so my mom wouldn't be dinged for the tow. When my car is ready for service, I'm definitely bringing it here! read more

Yo, boss man, please give this guy (Brian A C) a major raise/promotion! He hell deserves it! My 4Runner needed new tires two months ago. Came in for a set of Pirelli all terrain plus ATs. Brian got me the tires I ordered installed and fixed a mishap that unfortunately happened. Sadly, my truck got totalled shortly thereafter (a week later) due to an auto collision that couldn't be avoided (their fault 100%). Miss my rig and never got to use them new tires adequately...but one thing's for sure. As long as the sun still shines and there's automobiles around...I'll be coming back to this place for unbeatable service and tire prices. Heck, just recently I came back and bought a new set of all season tires at phenomenal price (with discounts of course) for my Subaru. I was quite disappointed in this customer service model. Even with an appointment I waited 15 minutes at the front of the line without a greeting. Phone calls take priority over customers in the lobby. Once I spoke with an associate I learned I had the choice of exactly 1 tire, any others would have to be ordered. What?!?! Went .5 miles down the road to Schwabbys and even though they were twice as busy, they staff appropriately and I was greeted immediately, had the choice of 4 tires offered and explained and was out the door in a hour for the same price as Discount. read more

Today I came in with a flat and learned that the puncture was too big to repair and they gave me a credit towards a new tire. They also give rebates to veterans, all year long. I purchased four new tires from Discount Tires in Weatherford, Texas and had the warranty which I think they automatically sold me. I'm glad they did because I have the car Iim Oregon now. This morning I got an unrepairable flat, had the spare put on and Jas said they can replace the tire, and install it all for free. Jas was so helpful and the customer service he gave me was the best! Watch your mileage. I've been a customer here for almost a decade, but today felt like a pretty big let down. Brought my car in for a minor tire repair, but had to leave it overnight. When I picked it up the following morning, the car had been driven about 6 miles. Not a huge deal, but definitely eroded my confidence and trust in this place. It seemed like we were always getting tires at Les Schwab for whatever reason, probably because they were close or there was a sale going on. Then I started calling around and pricing tires. I found this location to be the least expensive, almost the same as Walmart, but they have a larger selection of tires here. I have always make an appointment and gotten in on time when I show up. They have always been really friendly and helpful. I had a light on for a low tire and went in there and it turned out it was all of them, it had just turned cold and Justin told me when the weather turns colder everyone should check the air pressure in their tires, and he hooked me up and I was done in five minutes. I have only had one really long wait time here exceeding 90 minutes, but generally I am out of here in under an hour something I know never EVER happened at Les, so they are the go to place now. read more

I am a huge fan and supporter of Discount Tires. I bought tires in Naperville, Illinois a year ago and drove cross country moving here in September of 2017. With all that driving I never had a problem, but when I got to the fifth floor of my office parking lot I unfortunately ran over a screw. So I came became to Discount Tires and was insanely impressed. Since my tire was bought within the last three years and has legal tread still I get a tire replacement and a tire rotation for absolutely free! I expected to walk out of here having to buy a new tire since there's no way it can be patched. Excellent customer service! My husband and I had our rental car get a flat tire on the last day of our road trip. Thankfully we made it to Discount Tire but then they gave us the news that they couldn't patch it since there was a nail in the side wall. They contacted Enterprise for us and were on the phone for several minutes figuring out what we needed to do since we didn't purchase insurance with enterprise. After several minutes Enterprise said we had to fix the tire. Thankfully Discount Tire gave us an old tire they had (at no charge) to get us through the last day of our trip. I have purchased two sets of tires from your company and then today I go to get a free air check and was told that there were two people in front of me after I waited for nearly 10 minutes in the hot car and I had to get out of my car to try to get customer service. Well, there was no one in front of me in the air check line and only cars in the garage being worked on. So are you telling me that now we have to make a flipping appointment with your people in order to have the air checked? That's a first!!! I was just at Gresham Toyota to have my oil changed and normally they check the air in the tires but I told them that I would have it done later by you but I guess your flipping e-mail reminding customers to get their air checked means absolutely nothing. Have purchased many sets of tires from this store. Their' after sale service was always great. No longer. I have a leaking tire. They no longer allow drop ins but require an appointment. The soonest available appointment was over a week out. Apparently it is fine with them for me to continue driving around on an unsafe tire rather than service their' product promptly. Even worse, when a medical conflict arose, I was unable to contact them to try to reschedule or work around it. Both telephone numbers just make you listen to recordings of no interest, then ring, then repeat. You cannot break the cycle by pressing buttons or speaking - you CANNOT reach a person. Basically, they have gone from having some of the best customer service to having the worst. I doubt that I will ever buy from them again. I originally came to them because of good pricing and good service. I guess I will return to Les Schwab from now on - slightly more expensive but they still take care of their customers after the sale. read more

I came to get a tire patched and air in another. The guy working (dark hair green eyes) was extremely rude and impatient with me. I pulled in not knowing if the other car was just leaving. Once he told me they were next, (after throwing a fit about how I temporarily pulled in) I said, "no problem help them first." He proceeded to explain to me that there's a 6hr wait time to patch my tire etc, all while making the other customer wait. It was just such a sh**ty experience. I bought a set of tires for my truck from there a couple months ago and the customer service seem to be OK. They talked up there customer service courtesy if I had any problems with my tires. I took them a tire that I went flat and I told them two of my other tires were leaking air from the rim not a good seal or something. They told me to leave the flat and bring the truck back in two hours, so I did they throw my tire in the back said it's repaired have a good day. I said is you going to put it on and check the other tires. We don't have time have a nice day.
