I really like the service options here and staff. It's clean and this last visit got 4 tires certified so they will take care of me if there is any issues. Well worth the cost and we were able to get a great deal since my tires are staggered. I recommend that program for everyone. Definitely engage them for best fit for your needs. I have to say that I truly love Discount Tire. They have been there for me since I started driving at 16 and have always been great. Yesterday I got in my car to drive to work and my psi was low on a tire, looked at it and saw a nice large screw. I went online to see if they had appointments for the day and it was completely open. Made an appointment and literally within 20 minutes of bringing it in, it was fixed. No cost to me and they were super nice at drop off and pickup. Great guys with great attitudes. Carl was amazing! Having a flat tire and finding out you have to replace all your tires isn't the best news BUT Carl made the experience great! He really took the time to find me tires that fit my budget and lifestyle, as someone who does a lot of driving to the mountains and specifically a lot of snow driving. I went into DT with my daughter to get her tire fixed and a little body work. They got her in quickly, changed the tire and helped bend the body away from the tire (due to an accident) so it wouldn't cut the new tire. It was a great experience and highly recommend! read more

They are chronically under staffed and over scheduled. An appointment time really doesn't mean much. If you show up 15 mins before your appointment you will usually wait 30 minutes just to get checked in. And then be told it will be 2+ hours for a simple tire swap or repair. They do good work and their prices are fair. But it's impossible to plan a work day around a service appointment there. read more

Without getting into specifics of my own car struggle...I've been sitting in the lobby for a few hours (my tire was not in stock)...and the amount of impatient, self absorbed people that the employees have to deal with....man, I gotta applaud how composed all the employees have not only stayed, but still went above and beyond for people. Have used them for 30 years on many vehicles. The last one I brought in they jammed the tires that were removed and put them in the back seat of a pickup truck. Upon doing this the scratched the entire side of my truck. I showed the assistant manager and manager and they claim no responsibility. Had me file a cleaning with their joke fleet insurance company who is denying the claim. They are a complete joke and don't hold their employees responsible for damage caused. They had an entire empty truck bed to put the old tires in, yet they chose to squeeze through an overcrowded parking lot and jamb the tires in the backseat and JUST WALK AWAY! read more

I have bought my tires when needed from Discount Tires at a couple of locations in Denver Metro area. I bought my car new in 2014 off the showroom floor. I had the original tires on the car for about 6 years. I then purchased new tires about 2020 b/c the dealership was servicing my car regularly and said it was getting close to the time for new tires. The dealership tires were more in price than Discount Tires. I got the same tire, but at a better price--not cheap, tho. I let my daughter drive my car on July 16, 2024 and I asked her to go have air pressure checked in the tires. She did. She went to this location. The persons working in the garage told her specifically that the tires were good but a rotation would be helpful for them at this time. They suggested making an appointment to do so. I made the appointment for July 17. When I arrived, the person working the front desk, tall man with red hair waited on me. I told him what the workers had already told my daughter. His immediate response was, "Unfortunately, but it's true, the ppl working in the garage are NOT reliable." I was taken back by that racist remark. He then requested my keys to look at my tires. He told me I needed tires. I reminded him of what the actual Machanic's there had said to my daughter. Long story short, he was insulted he couldn't TRICK me into submission so he then abruptly said, "At this time I am going to have to DENY YOU THE ROTATION SERVICES." I checked my service record with the dealership and it shows it is time for a rotation. However, it isn't showing I need new tires. This report is generated through CarFax with the dealership-- I'm able to look it up within my insurance online account. I believe he was attempting to take advantage of me as a woman and as a senior. I won't be a part of some bait and switch business practice. This is what it appeared like to me. WHO tells a customer to make an appointment for one service and you get there only to have them say, I AM DENYING YOU what I originally propose you should do. Disgusting! He actually said, I AM DENYING YOU... I'm denying him from attempting to dupe anyone else! I had an appointment and he retaliated against me for not being a patsy! read more

Horrible experience. I had an appointment to get four new tires for 12:00pm. Was told it would be an hour and half max to be completed so I decided to wait. Nope. Took 2 and a half hours for my car to even be pulled back into the bay. After I asked what the hold up was, I was told that they never checked me in under my appointment and I would be the next one taken back. Took them another 45 minutes to pull my car back after that. Meanwhile, another customer came in and had his car pulled to the bay within 5 minutes of arriving, before mine, again. I watched the waiting room fill up and empty out twice. Whole appointment took over 3 hours. Spent well over $1000 and no apologies, no compensation, no water even, nothing. Don't worry though of course they tried to sell me on some new windshield wipers! Nice people sure, but will not be going back to this location to be looked over and forgotten for hours. read more

This review is specifically for the Discount Tire on East Evans in SE Denver. I checked in at 4:00 to get new tires and was told they would be done at 4:45. Another couple checked in after me. They had their new tire and were on their way home before my car was pulled into the bay. Another couple came in about a half hour after I did and they were done and one their way home while my car had just been pulled into the bay. My car was done at 5:30. I asked Damon (manager??) why these people were all taken and finished before me. He didn't know but said he was sorry. My advice: if you go to this location for tires, you will have to keep a close eye on when you should be getting your turn. read more

Showed up on a whim at 0800 and had to wait a few minutes as the staff was helping with someone inside and another with someone on the phone. Finally talked to Tyler after waiting about 20 minutes after they opened. Tyler was super polite in asking questions about our tire, and asked if we wanted to wait around or come back later. We asked if they were going to repair the flat or replace and Tyler said they would repair and it should be one of the first jobs the team did. We sat around for 20 more minutes and poof a tire showed up. Armando told us that they did try and bend the rim back in place and to keep track of the amount of air in the tire, just make sure that the tire didnt leak. Tyler showed us the screw that was removed and a new valve as well. We spoke about replacing a spare vs a full sized tired and we will be back to them to work on either getting a donut or a new full sized tire Appreciate the wonderful work Tyler and Armando! read more

I made a trip from Denver to Palm Springs. The low tire pressure light came on. I found out Discount Tire is America's Tire in Palm Springs. Enrique Diagnosed the bad low pressure tire, got it looked at in 20 minutes and out the door in a little over an hour. No charge! The tire had picked up a rusty nail. I bought my last set of tires from discount tire and always go to them for air checks so I wanted to buy my new tires there. Went to the discount tire on Arapahoe. The young man who helped me check out my car and immediately said I also needed new wipers, saying the rear wiper had no rubber left. I declined the front wipers and asked if he could throw in the rear wiper for free considering i was buying a set of tires. Back in the store the salesman found only one tire in stock for my car. I'd never heard of the brand which I think is exclusive to discount tire. He didn't tell me anything about the tires themselves like whether they were all season. Initially I agreed to purchase them. The total cost didn't seem right. I took a closer look and saw he had added the cost of the front wipers although he did give me the rear one at no cost. At the last minute I changed my mind and said I needed to do more research. I don't know whether he thought he could get away with this because I'm an older female. I don't like being upsold or taken advantage of because I don't know much about the product but I will probably never buy tires at discount tire. read more

Dropped off my car for winter tire installation. Waited 2 full hours - which is fine - but when I came back the car was still sitting outside untouched and I had to wait an additional 90minutes. I have a kid and schedule and I find it rather disrespectful for letting me wait an additional 90 min without a call or update or apology that is getting later. I appreciate business are short staffed and would understand if they weren't able to accommodate me but it's disrespectful for me and my time accepting my business and not taking care of me i.e letting me wait for an additional 90min. I recently bought a used Subaru from one of the larger dealers in Denver. About two weeks after my purchase the tire pressure light came on. I attempted the have the dealer take a look at it for me but got the run around. In my frustration I walked in to Discount tire and they told me they could take a look. I'm pretty sure I wrote up a review of this place many years ago, but... Suffered my 1st flat on my 13-month old car -- had to happen, it's Denver and Denver roads have debris, right? Did a mental coin toss and went to the 2446 S Colorado store instead of this one (which I'd been to before, wanted to spread the biz love.) The person who assisted me there was courteous and helpful -- but also told me his store had "30 cars" ahead of me, and that I could have my vehicle back by 9pm that evening. I frowned lightly and said I was going to call the Evans store to see their customer load there. The salesperson said it was likely going to be the same except maybe less people in line because "it's a smaller store". I called. *1 person ahead of me* (it ended up being 3-4 by the time I got there, but still). I let the salesperson know and he was stunned to hear it was that low. I guess I shouldn't 2nd guess myself. Trent was professional at the Evans store and I had my car patched up for free in an hour. They couldn't figure out how to reset the TPMS warning light, but I'm not gonna ding them for that -- it still hasn't gone off but the tire was repaired for free, so what's there to complain about? Called for a quote and I was told $60 - $130 per tire. We drove all the way to this location to find out the only tires they have in stock are tires that run $120 - $160. Which would have made the total price between $550 - $900. Johnny was the assistant manager working and he was clueless on how to provide customer service given the dishonesty of this location. He just kept asking, "wELL wHaT dO YOu eXpEcT mE to dO? O_o" not only was Johnny terrible with customer service (the assistant manager) but he kept trying to convince us to purchase the wrong tire size. We needed a 215 he insisted on the 225. We saved $$$ by going to FIRESTONE and we were able to purchase better tires for $89/tire with a total price of $417 (FREE INSTALL). Discount tires isn't much of a discount and the service is terrible. They charge a lot for an install and the tires really aren't cheaper. read more

They are very honest and trustworthy when it comes to tires. For example, I had two tires that wore quicker than the other two; rather than selling a whole new set of four they simply said I could replace the two and use the existing, as the good two tires contained enough tread depth. My tire had been leaking slowly for the last couple of weeks, so I took my car in to get patched up. The team was quick to fix it up! Best part of the story was my battery had died while they were servicing the tire! I don't have roadside assistance so I was banging my head on how to get this figured out since it was the middle of a business day and no friends/family were close enough to help. I was going to Uber home and come back once I could get my arms around this, but my window was down! There was no juice to even roll the window up and leave my vehicle safe. After talking with some techs, the bald gentleman running the front counter came out and found that my battery was covered in salt. He used a wire brush tool to clean it off and pulled his personal vehicle around to jump start my car. It was simple overall, but due to the time taken I am so grateful for the extra assistance the team gave me. It's been a pleasure doing business with this location. read more
