Came in for a tire rotation they told me they wouldn't do it because I had a tire repair on one of my tires. The reasoning I was told was that they see these fail all the time, I do not understand the logic as I see regular tires also fail all the time and that's why I have this repair. Just seemed like a lazy teenager that couldn't give me a straight answer they didn't wanna work. I think this because he gave me zero recommendations and didn't offer any help to resolve or help me achieve rotating my tires. He didn't even do the good or try to upsell me on a tire just told me he wouldn't help me at all. Come on, buddy. He at least offered to rotate 3/4. Only solution offered. So a short month after getting these WONDERFUL tires that have made me feel way more safe, I OF COURSE run over a screw and a raised manhole with a pothole this morning. I come in at around 8:15, and Ed remembered me, informed me that there is a screw in my tire (I thought it was just the pothole and just wanted to check), and saw a heat ring around my tired caused by me driving it to a gas station to fill the tire up, which he told me I should NOT be driving on. He told me they'd replace the tire since it's been less than 30 days, and there is a special warranty. He told me he had to get the tire in from a different store, and that they could install the tire today. These guys are amazing. Please come here for all your tire needs. About a year ago I went to the Aurora (Southlands location) for a tire repair - a very slow leak. Their sleazy salesman took the tire off the rim before informing me that the nail was "too close to the tire wall" to be repaired. He then went on to explain that due to liability issues, they wouldn't be able to put it back on. After being forced to purchase a new tire, he went on to inform me that my windshield wiper blades were badly frayed - this after I had purchased and installed new wipers just two weeks prior. Having dealt with Discount Tire for the last 14 plus years, I wrote it off as a one-off incident. Fast forward a couple of weeks ago, I went in to have air added to the tires, the smart Alec-y shop hand (what I perceived to be) sarcastically declined to assist because they were in the middle of a tire delivery. I tried to be understanding and went to another nearby location and had the cold air pressures increased. Today, I noticed that the pressure in my left rear tire was running about 4 PSI low. I stopped and checked the tire but couldn't find any visible damages. I made my way a few miles to this location on Hampden Avenue (Denver), explained to the apparent shop supervisor that I had a slow leak and asked if he could add a quick shot of air - I acknowledged to him that I realized the shop was busy, but his assistance would buy me the time needed to get home and make an appointment for repair. Both he and the in-store customer service representative simply refused. Standing right by the hose, he told me that I would need to go in and wait for an hour just to get 4 PSI's of air. I am beginning to think that this lack of decent business practice is becoming a companywide issue, and I need to consider taking my business elsewhere. read more

This review is for this location only - I've been a loyal Discount Tire customer for over 20 years and recommend them left and right. This particular location is generally hard to get to because of their size and parking logistics, but that's not the fault of the staff. Just something to keep in mind. I got a feeling, when getting an appointment there for the first time, they hire those that don't get a cut at other locations, that goes for management and mechanics. Never expected a simple winter tire change over (on wheels already) going so wrong, that I needed two more visits to different locations the next day to fix it. Asked them to balance and mount the tires and fix a nail, clearly marked. They mounted them, but "forgot" to fix the nail (or more likely didn't pay attention)... And I got an impression that's something that happens there on a regular basis too. Balance was off - had to spend 2 hours next day at different location to re-balance - they confirmed tires were out of balance. TPMS lights went off - not programmed as requested or did a bad job doing it. To top it off, after specifically asking them not to move the seat, they moved the seat. Why their comfort to drive the car 30 feet is more important than mine is beyond me, but this is the definition of unprofessionalism. Naturally, nothing would happen, and I might (or might not) get a nice "we apologize" email from corporate, but I thought I'd warn others to pick another location if possible. read more

This review has been long overdue! We have been here several times... to have air put in our tires... to have a hole repaired because of a nail... to have tires replaced... and the latest visit was because of the dreaded TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light going off. We are only a few days into summer... yet it was a cold, rainy, Friday morning. It's ten minutes before 8am. We have only one car to share... so here I am dropping off the hubby to work at 8am, then before 9am have to drop off my oldest to dance camp, the middle kiddo to music camp, while my 1 year old is along for the ride. But that TPMS light... ugh! Usually my hubby does all the car stuff. But like I said he has to be at work, so fortunately there is an awesome Discount Tire close by. So after dropping the hubby off I drive carefully on over in hopes that I can get the tire checked and fixed if need be. It's already 5 minutes past 8am, and there are already a few customers. I have all three kiddos with me and I explain the situation to the friendly guy and that I have to be somewhere by 9am. He assures me that it should be no problem. He goes to the car and checks on the tire pressure of the tires, while I am putting my daughter's hair in a bun for dance. After a few quick minutes he lets me know how the tread is on the tires (which are still good because they themselves put them on awhile back, and they are under warranty) and that they will fix the tire that's in question. He looks my info up in the system. I also mention that we probably need to get our tires rotated. He lets me know that the tires are wearing out evenly and that I don't need to have them rotated. Cool! He can also can see I'm getting my kiddos ready for camp, and I tell him I've got to get two kiddos in camp by 9am. He reassures me that they should have everything done and I would be out of there in no time. And with a quickness these guys fix the tire. There was a screw that caused all of this, but they patched it all up. I was out of there by 8:25ish. What could have been the start of a bad day, really worked out for me and my family. I got my kids to their summer camps on time. I didn't have to be stranded in the rain with three kids (if my tire gave out), and my hubby didn't have to lose time from work to get this taken care of. The guys at Discount Tire gave me and my hubby peace of mind. These guys are awesome. They deserve all 5 stars. You can count on us coming here for any tire needs. While waiting in their waiting room I called Discount Tire. They told me to come in ASAP and when I did I was immediately seen. Sure enough it's a screw in the tire. I have been to this Discount Tire four times in the past few years, and every time has been an excellent experience. The best experience was this very morning. On my way to work this morning, I rather stupidly ran over a curb when I took a turn too tight. My bones rattled, and then... the low tire pressure light came on. Yep, I wrecked the tire. Fortunately I was only a couple of blocks from this Discount Tire shop, where I had bought the tires about two years ago. I decided to risk rolling a short distance on the flat and pulled into the lot about 20 minutes before their scheduled 8:00 opening time. I sent some emails to my job about being late thanks to the flat and checked in with my wife, and then the store opened right on time. The service person found me in the system, explained my options, and got me out the door with a new tire in place in about 15 minutes. My interactions with this store have been uniformly great. Super easy, very satisfied with the time things took and the quality of the work. I will keep coming back here for my tire needs as long as I live in the area. read more

Blew a tire on busy I25. With cars zooming by and shaking the vehicle I was scared to get out and I called Roadside. They arrived quickly and were able to put on the spare. Driving a donut on a busy interstate rattled me just as much so I pulled into the nearest Discount Tire. Spoke with Chris at this location and normally they would have had me come back for my vehicle when the tire arrived but when I explained what happened and where I lived - he was able to find my tire and send me to a different location for same day service.
