Initially I have to admit I had another tire shop I usually utilize for rims but I did not get a warm welcome by them when I was working with them. Buying rims takes time and patience plus they didn't have ones I was looking for. Caddy corner from them was Big O Tires. I have always wanted to utilize them and now I had the opportunity. I was assisted by Tom who was very friendly from start to finish and was able to order and have my tires delivered within hours of our conversation. You do need to put down a $100.00 deposit for all orders. Once I brought my car in they were again done within an hour of dropping my car off. I'll be bringing my business here for now on. read more

I have to say, David Martinez is great at his job. Amazing customer service. He was patient and kind with all the questions my son and I threw at him. This was our first time there and not only did they do the oil change (and saved me $40 from where I used to go and got less service,) they inspected my car. He informed me what was wrong with my car WITHOUT being pushy or the spiel. He broke it down for me and said it was still safe to drive. He also said that they would check it every time I brought it in so I'd have time to save money for the repair. I really appreciate the time David took with my son and I to help with our vehicles. So I just had to have my tired patched quick and easy right. Well the two older guys in charge of this store made it a nightmare. I came to this store 4 days in a row and it's always the same story with this two guys that are in charge here. They say it's going to be a 3 hour wait even though they have no clients in the morning yet. So I called to the Big O tires on Hampden and Tower and they set me Up with a schedule right away even though the guys from Chambers and Illif said it's first come first serve. I took my suv to big o tires last year to get a full set I paid for in full! One of my tires has irregular damage and is destroyed! They would not take responsibility for the tire and said I didn't have the warranty! You are welcome to go there but just remember that if you do and something goes wrong you will be on your own! The customer service was also horrific! PLEASE GET YOUR TIRES FROM ANYWHERE ELSE THAN HERE! I have never ever had a bad experience! Absolutely terrible. I scheduled an appointment today 11/14 to have a tire repair as my rear passenger tire keeps slowly losing air. The appointment was at 1pm. I figured at MOST the appointment would take an hour, I get they are busy and have other customers but that's why I scheduled an appointment knowing I had to PICK UP MY CHILD AT 2:45. I was completely ignored for an hour and a half, which fine, but when I said I had to leave the lady working asks if I can come back. Ummm no which is WHY I SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT ON MY DAY OFF AT THIS TIME. It's like why even have an option for an appointment if you guys aren't going to even touch my car and make me sit for an hour and half. They didn't even pull my car into the garage. It a service that should take at most 20 minutes and they wasted my time. I will never be using Big O again as it appeared there were plenty employees who spent lots of time chatting instead of completing a simple service. Horrible experience. read more

Today I went to the Big-O Tires in Aurora at Iliff & Chambers Rd to have them investigate a clanking noise coming from my front passenger side wheel. I was not in any hurry, nor was I upset in the least, I explained the situation to the front-desk person and he said they would have someone look at it. I stood inside the lobby watching my vehicle thru their large windows, a young guy came out with a torque wrench and I watched as he torqued down ONE of the 6 lug nuts on that wheel, then went around to the other 3 wheels. Shortly after he came into the lobby and told me that he torqued down all of them. I explained to him that I watched him only tighten one of the six lugs on that wheel and he became immediately hostile. He called me outside and pointed at a camera that was pointed in that direction and yelled at me that they have a camera! I was still very calm and civil and I explained to him again that I stood there and watched him only tighten one of the six lugs and asked if he would just go ahead and tighten them again, he grunted something and stormed off into the shop. I climbed into the driver's seat and waited, shortly he emerged from the shop with a torque wrench, held it up in front of the window and yelled at me "150 pounds of torque!!" then proceeded to torque down all of the lugs, loudly griping and cursing the whole time. I had the passenger-side window rolled down when I heard him say, quite loudly "goddamned retard", I said "excuse me?" and he yelled "I'm not a goddamned retard!". Then he came around to the driver's side and called me a "f%^&ing idiot". I went back inside and told the store manager what he said and the manager didnt seem very concerned, he said he spoke to the guy and he said that he torqued down all 6 lugs. I thanked him and went back out to my truck, drove about 20 feet and could still hear the clanking noise. Went back inside and explained, long story short, they finally found that the "bolt cover" had come off and was rattling, they remounted the tire and everything was fine. (I have no idea what a "bolt cover" is). I am grateful they were able to resolve the problem and didn't charge me anything, I just find it hard to believe that a grown man would behave that way towards a customer, and that the manager didn't even seem concerned. No, I did not bother to get any of their names as I was just happy to have the issue resolved. My wife wrote a complaint to big-o and got a call from the store's manager, he said that he had a long talk with the individual that morning. My wife explained that we didn't want him to get in any trouble, we were just concerned that he had some obvious anger issues and that he should get some kind of counseling or therapy. I hope he gets the help he needs. read more

I needed a new tire after I had a blow out and ended up at Big O Tires on Iliff. I ended up having to get 4 new ones because of the type of transmission I have. All treads needed to be at a certain depth. The Team did quick work fixing me up and I was completely satisfied with my purchase. I even purchased the 3 year warranty for peace of mind. Oh but it gets better! After traveling to the Midwest to see my family I had a blow out on my way to grandmas house. There wasn't a Big O Tire anywhere close so I proceeded to the nearest tire store so we could continue the road trip. After talking with Charley the manager of Big O's I found he was very empathetic about the situation and wanted to make it right. So he refunded my full out of pocket costs for the tire and labor. I truly appreciate it when a company does the right thing when dealing with their customers. Being in the service industry myself I always want to make sure my guests are completely satisfied as well. Every time I go in here these guys always have bad attitudes, I've purchased here before but definitely regretting that decision. This last time I just wanted to see if my back tire could be repaired or if I had to replace it, if it needed to be replaced how much would the tire be. This would be the second opinion after visiting les schwab tire across the parking lot. I couldn't even wait for them to look at the tire because of there attitudes.. I ended up taking it down to Discount Tire and they beat the price by $100 and attitudes were completely opposite from what I experienced at Big O. read more

We've been taking all of our vehicles here since moving to Denver, but never again. The staff has become a bunch of dimwits and crooks. A couple months ago they tried to tell me I needed to pay $500 for to replaced my radiator hoses. My radiator hoses are in like new condition. Today they charge my wife $700 to replace a alternator and battery after flat out lying to us that she needed them. Picked up the car today and the issue that was supposed to be fixed by all this work wasn't even addressed! They offered no discount or compensation for something they admitted they were mistaken and at fault for. So now we'll be disputing the charge with the credit card company so they won't be getting a dime for teir bullsIt is the last time we will ever be giving them any of our business. Save your time, money, and a massive headache and go anywhere else for your car troubles Update : Our credit card company sided with us proving what a shady business these con men are running. My sliding door of my 2016 van didn't open. We called to see if that's something they can fix, I took the van there since we have multiple Van's that received service there. After they checked it out I received a call with the cost $669, (I was later told that the price was very good since they miscalculated the man hours it would take to fix) they also needed to do both doors since they are some how connected....so what do I know about cars? Nothing the van war there several days and each time I was told it ready for pick up the same thing happened, it opened, closed and then the back popped back out, requiring a manual push to close. I was told it needed an adjustment, so again I left it there. I received a call with good news and bad news. Good news they found the needed part in Arizona and the bad news was it cost $1200 to fix. Well I politely declined and picked up my van. Im sad to say but now I have to take all my Van's (8) to a different shop. Thank you read more

Came to big o today Saturday for a oil change 2hrs later im still sitting here waiting for my car .. There is a window so you can see in the garage, so i went over to look and see what going on with my car. I see the guy working on my car having trouble with the nut on my tire so another guy walks over an starts hammer a tool onto the nut that hold the tire on. Now im no expert but im pretty sure you should just start hammer away on a tire nut! Then as i continue to watch this fuck throws my tire not drop throws it!!!! What the hell!! I spoke with manager and he compted my oil change but This experience is very annoying. I can say i wont be back and wont recommend this place to anyone. So now it 5 Saturday night and my car is overheating while im driving to work.. cap isnt even on my coolent!!! Today is monday sitting at big o due to the huge pile of green liquid in my Garge. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars. I guess I ended up at 4 because I go here every time I need an oil change. There is nothing really wrong with this place except I believe the prices to be a little high but overall they are good at what they do. The service is fast and although not entirely cheery and friendly they get it done and are effective enough. Can't complain and unless I find something cheaper that can give me the same results I guess I will keep going back. I will say I would not get my tires anywhere else. read more

I brought my car in to get the front and back Brakes, Rotors, and Brake Sensors done, was pretty pricey so I expected great service. Come to find out they never replaced my front brakes or rotors as if I wouldn't realize they left rusted rotors on my car. I wouldn't suggest this location to anyone. They tried to get over on me. Had to bring my car back a couple weeks later to get issue corrected. read more

Stopped in at 1625 on Saturday and asked if they could look at our car because it was making a weird noise around the front left tire. They told us no they could not just lift it and check it because they were closing in 30 minutes, but if we wanted to leave it they could look at it Monday Morning. We went next door to Les Schwab and they test drove it, lifted it up, and told us it was the front bearing, all in 24 minutes with no charge. Les Schwab will be fixing it on Monday. Terrible, terrible, terrible! So my dad took his car to get his alignment fixed since it was pulling very badly to the right. While driving home, the alignment was not even fixed. I go in the second time to get it rechecked and they called to say we would need to get the control arm in the rear replaced because it was bent and that is why the alignment is way off. They stated the price and I asked if that was exactly what we were going to pay (taxes and fees included). They told me yes. I was like I guess, this better be it. Got in to retrieve the car next day, and gave me the receipt, but the price was much higher than they told me. They refunded me the differences which was good, I guess, but the alignment was still not fixed! I called back to try to explain my frustration. They scheduled me in the following week with my appointment at 8 AM. I was sitting there waiting. It is now 9 AM and I check outside, and found my car still sitting there. I asked them when they were going to get it in, and they finally got it in. Only for 15 minutes though. The alignment was still the same. LIKE DID THEY EVEN DO ANYTHING TO IT? I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would find some place else who is really dedicated to fixing cars instead of scamming for money. read more
