Absolute top notch LEGENDS at this spot. My wife had a nail in her tire on the way to dropping out kid off at College. They fit her in on a busy morning immediately plugging her tire and getting her out of there in 20mins. Seriously guys. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. read more

I recently had all four tires replaced on my 2022 Toyota Camry at Discount Tire in Chesapeake, and I could not be more impressed with the experience. The team did an outstanding job, completing the work with exceptional quality and efficiency. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and far quicker than I expected. What truly sets this location apart, however, is the customer service. Tyler went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied and confident in the tires being installed. He took the time to answer questions, explain options, and make sure my vehicle was equipped with a safe, reliable product for my family to travel on. One of the things that gave me the most confidence was knowing that if I ever have an issue, I can return to this location and be taken care of. The team genuinely stands behind their work and their customers, and that commitment extends far beyond the warranty itself. In today's world, that level of service and accountability is rare and greatly appreciated. It's not often you find a company that combines outstanding workmanship, efficiency, and genuine care for its customers, but this Discount Tire location does exactly that. They have earned a customer for life. I am extremely grateful for the service I received and highly recommend them to anyone looking for tires and exceptional customer care. read more

On August 16, I had my flat tire repaired at Angelo's by an excellent employee, I believe his name is Jason (he has a long goatee) My flat on my Subaru was fixed quickly and Jason saved the day and I was able to take my family to Busch Gardens and then back to NY. Thanks very much Jason! read more

I recommend Discount Tire (even though I had a mixed experience that wasn't their fault) and I would go back for any tire service that my car needs at this location. Pro: -Austin had great customer service and took care of me both times that I interact with him. -The tires that I purchased on the website and had shipped to the store arrived on time and got installed. -They come out to your car to scan the tires/rims and check it over. -They did a great job installing them without damaging my brand new rims and they have good prices that are competitive with Sams and Costco. -What won me over was that they were able to get my tires a week earlier than Costco at roughly the same price. -Both times that I came in as a walk-in Customer, they were able to get me taken care of the same day Con: -The line to do anything is long. Once you accept this, going there is a lot better. -There is a little bit of salesmanship happening but it is minimal and not pushy in my opinion so not a big deal -The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor system on my car was damaged, and none of the repairs they attempted could get one of the wheels to read. This was not something they could fix, and I'll have to have the dealership work on it, which is annoying. read more

10:30 appointment today for 2 new tires . Arrived 15 minutes early . Was told car would be ready at 11:15 . I approached the counter again at 11:25 my car was still in parking lot . Was given a lame excuse and my car was in garage at 11:40 . Once in garage it only took 7 minutes to complete. read more

This place is always packed, highly recommend making an appointment online to get your tires installed. They have great pricing and I love their warranties, plus free tire rotations! It's a great place, you just have to find a way to make it work for you, so you're not sitting in the lobby all day waiting. Unless you're retired and need to get out of the house. read more

I always get great service when I visit the Discount Tire on Battlefield Boulevard in the heart of Chesapeake. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable for what is offered and I get a general sense of satisfaction when I come here. They don't try to sell you a bunch of services that you don't want or need and they are honest. What more can you ask for in a tire shop? read more

I was visiting my sister (from SC) and my car started wobbling. I pulled over here to find out my tire thread was separating. They sold me two tires and rotated my older tires to the front. At first, I was upset because every tire place had always put new tires on the front. After researching google, it turns out that new tires should be on the back to help a car stop in rain or snow--making it safer Glad to read more

Wait time is excessive. I have been waiting in line for at least 30 minutes. The discount tire standard is usually super fast but I waited in line for 30 minutes to drop off. Then I returned and the line is also out the door when I prepaid for service. Not very efficient when wanting to drop off and pick up. Not the standard I am used to at discount tire. read more

I had 1 of my new tires get a flat. I removed the tire and installed my spare, then went to the store at 8 am in the morning. I was the 4th person in line when the door opened. Once I was checked in, I was told it would take about an hour to an hour and a half for them to patch the tire. After sitting there 2 hours (I went up and asked about my tire. I was then informed that the cut in the tire was too large for a patch, and I needed a new tire. It's sad that they made me wait all that time to tell me it couldn't be fixed (none of us have lives or places to be). Once I was informed the tire had to be replaced the service tech looked me in the eye and said has a tire been ordered? I replied no you just told me it couldn't be fixed. They did order a new tire, and it was covered under the certificate, but that is not where the story ends. After waiting until 3:30pm on Saturday, I went to pick up my tire and was asked if I could point out the rim for my car. They had no clue which rim was mine and had not mounted the tire. Of course, once I pointed the rim out, they came back to me to ask if that tire had a pressure sensor on it and I replied yes. They had removed and valve stem and thrown the sensor away. They said they would take care of the sensor, and they claimed they reprogrammed the new sensor to my car, but it was not detecting any pressure. The tech told me I had to drive my car for a while before it could register the air pressure (never heard of that before). After 2 days I took it to the Lincoln dealership, and they had to replace the sensor. Everything works fine now. Discount Tire was cheaper than others but I'm not sure if they are worth it. The staff was very nice but clueless. read more

I came in at 1:45 and was told that the car would be done at 4:45. I stayed in the front for 2 hours ( minus a few minutes to use the bathroom). I sat back down in the lobby to wait. At no point, unless it happened when I was in the bathroom, did my name get called. At about 4:30'ish I went outside because I was cold and needed to unthaw. At 5:10'is I went back in and asked if the two vehicles in front were going to be in before mine and I was told he didn't know. I asked for my keys so I could come back tomorrow and I was told that my car was done. No one that I saw knew what time the car was done. I waited for 3.5 hours for no reason. Communication needs to be better. AND then Austen was telling everyone in the bay not to talk to me. They were laughing. Very unprofessional!!! read more

Good morning I definitely like coming to discount tire because when they finally get to you, I think the service is not too bad but if I can recommend something that will probably make a lot of of the people that go in there feel a little more comfortable is if you had a clipboard That people could literally just walk in and write down their names and on one side it says appointment or walk in very simple then you would control the line because now you don't have people standing around being impatient another thing is I know you guys can afford it, but you need somebody to pick up the phone or an automated system that is able to pick up the phone and at least have different directions where they can leave a message because I was standing there listening to people call and it was ridiculous. I understand that you're busy but having one person addressed that problem will make it that much better but I highly recommend a clipboard ASAP. read more

We dropped off my Toyota rav4 this morning to have a nail removed from a rear tire I purchased at this location in August. Austin inspected my tires, verified the tire sensor light was on, and mentioned my front tires might still be under warranty. My front tires were nearing their end of life so they offered a mileage discount since the front tires failed to reach their mileage under warranty. I contracted to replace my front tires (along with the nail repair to the rear tire), and was told my car would be ready in a couple of hours. Approx. 2 hours later I received a call from Ty, informing me that my front stems were bad, and had to be replaced (approximately $65 per stem). this cost was not discussed nor disclosed at contracting even though the pressure light was on and I told Austin it had been on for some time. I am a repeat customer at this location, but feel like the additional cost should have been disclosed prior to contracting with me, given the information provided to the agents of the business. read more

I called ahead of time to see if they had my size tires for my Jeep Wrangler. Scheduled an appointment time so I would not have to wait long. Four hours later... They put the wrong size tires on then said it would be just fine with the noise and grind. I told them I did not feel comfortable with the tire grinding against the bar (the picture shows where it would grind). They are replacing the tires now but FOUR hours later, I am still here because they made a mistake. Do not recommend. read more

Isaac was amazing! I came regarding my tire light and tire pressure. He asked me what was wrong, listened to all the information I gave him, and he was proactive in making sure he got it resolved. I have always come to Discount Tires and I've never been disappointed. This was nothing short of that. He always welcomed me to ask for help in any way I may need and he would be happy to help. The service was quick and I was out in less than 15-20 minutes! This location definitely got another customer out of me and I will return! Definitely stop by here!! :D read more

Great experience from beginning to end. After my experience with tire choice my experience here was a breath of fresh air. Upon entering I was greeted by David who promptly obtained my info and went outside to look at my tire. Upon learning that they couldn't fix my tire because the sidewall was damaged, I purchased 4 tires. My tires were due to be replaced anyways so I was kind of expecting that I would have to buy some tires. Now I can take advantage of the free rotations and balancing for the life of the tires. I was followed up on the progress of my car frequently. What I also found positive is that they definitely followed COVID protocols with mask wearing and social distancing. Also, by placing everything they gave to you in ziploc bags was an added surprise. I will definitely come back if I need to purchase additional tires. read more

Had a great experience with Discount Tire! I walked in without an appointment with a screw in one of my tires. They were extremely busy and unable to get to me immediately. However, multiple front end staff greeted me and apologized for the wait. I waited just a few minutes before I was placed on a waiting list and just a few minutes more before someone asked for more details. The gentleman who walked outside to observe the screw was extremely nice and efficient. He gave me multiple options for a new tire since the screw was on the curve of the tire. The price was what I expected. I paid and he told me about an hour and a half. They have Wi-Fi so I used it to do some work while I waited. Even though they were extremely busy, they attended to the customers quickly and the waiting area was comfortable and not overly crowded. They were finished with my car in 45 minutes. I actually needed to stay longer to get to a stopping point with my work. My car was waiting for me right outside the door. I would highly recommend. Extremely pleasant and efficient. read more

After having a terrible experience with Discount Tire at the Janaf in Norfolk,Va location, I called here to get some clarifications on a few things that Janaf had told me. DT in Janaf literally belittled me, talked to me like i wasn't even a human being, let alone proudly gave me a refund after the associate couldn't properly explain their policy to me. I ended up breaking down into tears because of how poorly Janaf Discount Tires treated me. I reached out to this location & Carlos and team was nothing short of AMAZING !!! He showed me patience, respect, & professionalism!! He took care of my problem at hand with NO questions asked !!!! Out of all Discount tires i would say this one is the best!!! Stop by today to get a lay of the land and do a tire price comparison with Sam's Club. I was greeted at the door with a firm handshake and willingness to help me out. He was the assistant manager and walk me through various options for my truck. He talked about the various specials and gave me the out the Door price. They were pretty busy considering it they're brand new. They have a decent customer waiting area. I was never pressured to buy tires and even said come back whenever I want to because they're always running various specials. While prices seemed a bit higher than Sam's Club their service was impeccable. It may be a good place to look when you're shopping for tires. read more

Five stars all around for Discount Tires from me! If I could've gave 10 stars I totally would! Customer service is extremely wonderful! I was so worried yesterday. Cause my tire pressure light came on in the morning. I drove straight to the gas station to put air in my front tire since the computer stated my tire was extremely low. But the light would not come off the screen. I wanted to scream! Lol! I was like OMG!!! So I drove to work. And searched online to see if there were any tire shops in the area that I could go too. I wanted to see what the reviews for everywhere was like. Discount Tires had some really good reviews all around. So I got off work and drove there. When I arrived it was suuuuppper packed and busy. But I didn't mind waiting cause I needed to get my tire fix before the rain started. Every representative there was very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I had my list of questions I needed to ask and Chris was very patient with me. I told him what the situation was with my tire. He told me to pull up on the side of the building so he could check my tire pressure. He check all the tires. Then he finally FOUND the damaged tire! I was wiping the sweat off of my forehead. It was actually the back passenger tire and not the front passenger tire that my computer system kept claiming it was. He told me that they can check it out for me and etc. I went back inside to get check in for them to fix my tire. Joseph set up my appointment. They said everything would be done around 3:30pm. I was like that's fine because I really needed to get my tire fix. I also got a tire rotation. There's a Hardee's, and a 7 eleven close by if you need to get something to eat or want coffee, snacks, and etc. Starbucks, five guys, golden coral, and etc are probably about half a mile away basically within walking distance if your semi -athletic. So even if you have to wait a long wait. You can occupy your time. Leeeeeeet me tell you when Joseph told me the cost of everything was 0.00. I was like WHATTTT?! Are you joking?! Nope! It didn't cost me a dime. I was like praise be to the Lords! lol! I wanted to give the young man that pulled my car up for me a huge hug. But I didn't want to scare him. I'm totally coming back to purchase my tires and also sending everyone I know there. The customer service here is AWESOME!!! The whole team kept a positive attitude even though they were suuuuppper busy. Thumbs up to all of them!!!!! read more

The staff was AMAZING. A great team full of young energetic individuals. They answered all my questions and had me in and out with 4 new tires. It's a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I definitely would recommend. They help find you the best deals unlike most car places who see a "silly young girl" walk in and try to take advantage of your wallet. I left work at 5:40 and came out to an almost flat tire. It was raining and cold and I lived an hour and a half away. Plus I was 24 hours away from leaving for a cruise.
