DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Discount tire center in El Monte, CA. They destroyed my rims. All my rims were scratched with installation. To begin with the workers were disrespectful and rude. From making my appointment they were rude on the phone, till I showed up to my appointment the worker had a bad attitude and spoke to me in a degrading manner. I washed my truck the next day and washed off all the shiny spray they put on my tires to cover their damages they had done. My rims are destroyed. read more

Don't buy their lifetime alignment, at least at this location. The Armenian guy / bald 4 eyed guy will delay your lifetime alignment as much as he can. He will put walk in customers in front of you when you've been waiting. All he says is just make an appointment and drop off the car, but if you pay for a regular alignment you'll be out of there in an hour. I was sitting for at least an hour and half and they haven't even touched my car yet. But yet another customer walked in to get tires on, he pulls in his car. What a joke, lifetime alignment you also have to have over 6000 miles before you get another one. So if you hit a nasty pot hole and mess up your alignment 2000 miles in your recent alignment, you have to to drive the car 4000 more miles which wears your tire tremendously. read more

Very happy with my experience at Discount Tires. Got a flat while visiting from out-of-town, and luckily this Discount Tires was within a few miles of where I was staying. Vick from Discount Tires was very patient and knowledgeable while explaining what my potential options were. After diagnosing my tire, he told me that it was unlikely to be fixable (I already knew that going in... the damage was on the sidewall, and it's too dangerous to fix those). He also did not have my specific tire in stock, but he could have overnighted a new one if I wanted to replace it. However, I only needed a temporary tire that would get me home, and luckily he had a used one in stock that would do just that. i thought they will change their mistakes because they only have three star on yelp. But they are still the bad tire shop ever. i changed my tire because one of mine of blown out. After the change, they messed with my wheel alignment. steering wheel turn into one side and i can't even drive. so i have to swap rear wheel and front wheel by myself. they don't care about the consequence of what they did. they won't check your tire rotation, they don't care about your alignment, they just do what customer says. if you say u want to change the tire, they will change the tire. no roatation, no drive test, just take out the old one and put the new one and done. When you found out the problem and tell them, they will say i did what you said. i haven't seen that kind of experience before. read more

This is the worst. I took my truck in and was told I need new tires. I also was told I needed brakes and an alignment Well after what the manager told me was a great deal for a thousand dollars I came out with two new tires. A missing center cap that I cannot replace. The new brake pads but now my car whines and shakes like crazy. I took somewhere to have it checked and all of the differential fluid is gone and I have two u joints broken. I'm also told I really need a new differential. Well I had them put a new gasket and fill with fluid and replace the u joints Was told by another that possibly the rotors are bad and brake pads should not have been put on bad rotors I'm scared to go back there because the next day after getting the tires my son noticed to center cap gone but the screw that is supposed to hold it on was on the car I went back and the manager said theres nothing he can do. I should have never gone without my sons and spouse but really didn't think I would get this bad of a rip off Also paid for the two tires so don't know why they didn't give me two free ones Zero stars read more
