Hired this company from PA for a 4-plex purchase in FL to pump/inspect the 4 septic tanks prior to…read moreour closing on the property. This company, together with the home inspector (also on site that same day) MISSED AN ENTIRE TANK - told us there were only 3 and that the front building shares one larger tank due to the well being on the other side of the property. Seemed plausible, so we move along. They provided zero report of any kind for this "inspection". No photos. Nothing but a phone call saying you have 3 and they look fine, we're done and gone. We're now working to get the property fixed up and despite paying $1,248 for these inspections, we STILL don't know exactly where the access lids are located since Payless buried them again with no photos. We didn't get fully moved down for a few more months, so the grass was grown back over and we couldn't tell where had been dug. We have since purchased our own very expensive sewer scope and locator only to find we do in fact have a 4th tank that Payless completely ignored. When we hired another company to come pump that 4th tank after finding it ourselves - they showed up with the permitting plans for our property and knew not only that there were 4 on the property, but exactly where the 4th tank was before we even showed them. Why did Payless not check these records? We are still learning and didn't know to look for those records at the time, but I would expect a professional in this business to know about them. We also now know that all 4 tanks are original and the same size, so that was a lie telling us that the front building shared one larger tank. How does a professional septic company not own a locator?

Flashing for a Florida room addition in Hernando County is legally mandated by the statewide Florida Building Code (enforced locally by Hernando County Building/Code Compliance). Specifically, Section R903.2 (for residential roof-to-wall intersections) and Section R703.4 (for exterior wall coverings and openings) require corrosion-resistant flashing wherever the new room's roof or walls meet the existing house structure to prevent water intrusion.Key Code RequirementsWall and Roof Intersections: Mandates step and continuous metal flashing where the Florida room roof ties into the existing exterior wall.Openings & Fenestration: Requires pan and perimeter flashing around all new windows and doors tied into the addition.Installation Method: Flashings must be installed in a "shingle-fashion" or per manufacturer specifications to redirect moisture safely to the exterior."According to Hernando county flashing was required! On 4/11/22, I revised this review after your response stated"you don't install flashing" Screen-pro is a middle of the road company, not great and by there own words are completely inept by not doing do diligence, Flashing is legally required. Although the room was attached to our trailer. I contacted 3 separate companies "all" suggested flashing was necessary for original installation but as all companies do, they didn't want to get involved. after reading your response I added the edits so to explain "They failed to fasten or use any flashing" which the county should have dinged them on. After 2 years we had leaks, (edit) if flashing was done the tape would have still be in place. after 4 years and damage to electronics on porch and my wood deck. They came out and said it was not bad work and they gave me a number of a roofer to repair it. I called another company who re-taped the roof, installed flashing over the edges near the home. Sealing leaks, pictured attached. The first four pics are before, the rest after. I plan on having a complaint filed against them and the county inspector. I highly recommend that anyone hiring this company for similar work or anyone who has hired them and you have issues like leaks, take them to court. File a building code violation. Do not use this company.
