My husband showed up with 2 truckloads of our things at 10:20 and no one was there and it was obvious they were still closed from the night before. Customer service via the call center is a joke. We both were calling and despite talking to 4-5 people no one could help us and no one called us back as requested. My husband was able to use the kiosk to get a key and pay despite it restarting several times only to find out the gate code it provided didn't work. Finally after 11 someone showed up and let my husband in and he was able to unload the trucks into our unit. The following Monday we followed up to voice our frustration and let them know we weren't sure we were going to stay a few months as we intended. Long story short rather than an apology we were kicked out and told our stuff needed to be out the next day. We had to load up our things and find another storage location. Global Self Storage has terrible customer service and at the end of the day they might just kick you out if they don't like what you have to say. Not worth it!

I rented the unit primarily to house one of my cars during bad weather; we have hail in this area and I wanted an extra garage space. It's not as close to my house as I would have preferred, but it was close enough and the rental prices were fair. Within a few months after I rented my unit, the price almost doubled to more than $300 a month. I realize this was likely not the fault of the people I saw everyday, but a corporate decision. Nonetheless, it felt like a clear bait-and-switch scheme. I made the reluctant decision to end my relationship with this company.

Fortress U-Haul records the gas from the previous rental, then moves the trucks from inside to outside the gate daily until the next rental. Fortress U-Haul moved my truck back and forth for over two months and expected me to pay for the gas. The tank was empty when I picked up the vehicle. After I returned the vehicle, I showed Cindy the pictures I took of the empty gas gauge right after I picked up the truck, two receipts for gas I purchased before and after I used the vehicle, the gas gauge after I refueled and she threatened to sue me for $5.00... The water in shower has lots of iron, potable water my daughter said tasted like blood lol (that's the iron) If you are traveling with kids through the area, you want the pool to be open late, there isn't a lifeguard on duty anyway. Let parents have access to the pool so we can swim with our kids that have been seatbelted for hours. That would make a campground family friendly not Cute characters. Other wise most of the staff was very friendly and facilities clean. Gaga ball was very fun late at night but bring your own kickball or volleyball. Because the office closed at 5 pm and so does most everything else including cornhole. But if you don't mind paying extra for all the fun activities you get free at other campgrounds (we camp a lot, just camped from Ohio to Montana, and Ohio to Wyoming) and have are staying more than one night it's a nice clean place, was definitely the most expensive we camped at in our 3 weeks of camping nightly.
