This store has everything. We purchased spark plugs for a leaf blower and Grater's Ice cream.

This is honestly the WORST Drug Mart ever! The store is unorganized and some of the employees are clueless, honestly rude AND the parking lot is a total disaster, small and hard to maneuver. It's a shame this is the closest location to my house. Going forward I will drive the extra distance to go to the newer Drug Mart in Concord. read more

If you ever want to be treated like a completely different species, visit Discount Drug Mart in August wearing a motorcycle jacket, pants and boots - and carrying your helmet in with you. My mom wanted some paper towels - not knowing the area, I just stopped here and got some very strange looks and questions. First, the usual "Are you on a motorcycle?" No, actually - I'm walking. I wear this for protection crossing Mentor Ave - it's very dangerous. Second - "Are you a cop or something?" No, are you an idiot or something? Okay, I didn't really say that. Third reaction was probably the best - especially given a conversation earlier that day with a cousin and her boyfriend about how they physically could NOT wear helmets because - well - helmets cause headaches. Seriously? What do you think a concussion is? That's what you'll get - or worse - and then they started with the whole "it's too hot to wear gear and a helmet" and "helmets don't really save your life if you get hit by a car anyway." So you can imagine my surprise when, after perusing the somewhat cluttered Drug Mart aisle in search of paper towels, I passed a woman and small girl in the aisle by the magazines. The little girl had two small beanie baby style bunnies in her hands and she stopped and stared at me with her jaw open. "What are you?" Mom immediately responded, "She's a motorcyclist, honey, and she's wearing the protective gear that everyone should always wear on a motorcycle." What? I just heard that in OHIO? The little girl was intrigued and touched my knee - I told her to knock on it - she thought it was cool - she touched my helmet and was fascinated with my bright yellow safety fest. Then, she recovered her composure and held up each hand high and said "These are my bunnies!" I said "Keep them safe! Make sure they get helmets if they go ride on bicycles or motorcycles!" and she nodded solemnly and promised she would. read more

I go to discount drug mart in Mentor. I do most of my grocery shopping there and things are on sale. I don't know who wrote this was a bad store but they're clueless. I hope everyone shops at this just turn on drug Mart store to find everything they need. read more

I love this store. Most of the employees are friendly. The only issue I have is the deli people. They ignore you and expect you to wait while they continue to finish whatever the are in the middle of. Had one guy tell me he was finishing the dishes first and don't order your meat shaved because it obviously angers two people in particular. You know who you are. I rarely use the deli now. I've seen the deli turnover in the past several years and waiting for those two to move on. read more

Love this store in Mentor, Ohio. Ben going there for many years. They are like family and I generally can count on finding what I need at great prices. read more

Pharmacy people are rude, especially Barbara, it's hard for her to answer a simple question, she behaves as if someone is forcing her to work at work, it's a shame for people who would like such a place, and not people like her! read more

They really deserve negative stars. Used to love this place and still go if I am desperate but the company are thieves. I wear a Jobst compression stocking and ordered it via prescription from the Mayfield Drugmart. Before they would order it they made me sign this paper that they said was just an order. I read it and it looked like I was approving an order for the basic Jobst stocking from what I could tell. I had never ordered one via med mutual before and they claimed med mutual said you needed to sign this paper, that it was a med mutual form not a store form. It did have some fine print about upgrades but since I was ordering the basic model it didn't concern me( questioned it and that is what they said) It literally took over a month to come in( on-line I usually get it within a week but Med.Mutual rep.had said "go to Drugmart"since they didn't accept the place I usually get them). This led to months of dr visits due to the size of the ulcer I had by then. Had they told me it would take that long I would not have ordered from them but that is just the beginning. That literally could have caused me to get my foot amputated though, not an exaggeration and took over a year to get it healed so $$$$$. I had told her the exact type I wanted, the basic model, stressing repeatedly "not the upgraded model", I even told her what the box looked like so I was sure they would get me the right one( the upgrades are thinner material, basically wear about as well as panty hose, if they get a run are no good anymore and my insurance only pays for 2 per year) So finally it came in. Went to pick it up, they said it was an" improved model" and I needed to pay $70 copay before I could even see it. ( I asked if it was the basic she said" yes but now it costs more"). I should have checked it before I left the store but when I got home guess what? it was the one I told her I did not want. Called my insurance company to see if I could take it back, they said they should not have charged me anything for it at all as no copay is involved( it's considered the same way as a lab test, you pay via your deductible). Called Drugmart and asked why it cost me $70 co pay. She said it was upgraded with "lace"( no lace anywhere on it) and that is what I agreed to when I signed the paper and blah blah blah. She was so ready with the retort I knew this was not the first time someone had questioned this type of deal. Not getting anywhere locally so called the home office. SNOTTY woman told me I signed the "Med. Mutual" paper so that is why they are able to charge me anything they want. again from her attitude it's obvious others have complained so it is not an oversight on the companies part, it is an intentional scam. So basically they charged me double the cost for the item. Again called Med Mutual, there is no form from them like the paper they had me sign, that is just Drugmart's form and way to get you to pay more for the item they are basically double charging via charging you then the insurance company ( they cost about $100 on line). I filed a complaint with the insurance company about them but what does that really do. Do NOT use this company, they are liars and cheats. They repeatedly lied to me when I ordered the item, picked it up and then called them to question it. They had ample opportunity to change if they had made an error in how they handled the claim. If you use them and get taken, don't say you weren't warned since it is the company policy not the individual store policy read more

Where else can you buy booze and laundry detergent, rent a movie and browse through make-up all while waiting for a prescription to be filled you ask? Why, Drug Mart of course! Of all the chain drugstores, Drug Mart has the competition beat hands down. Not only do they have just about any item you could ever ask for at a drug store but their prices are extraordinarily competitive. One of my biggest pet peeves in the realm of drug store experiences is taking a prescription in to be filled only to be told it will be at least a 30 minute wait. Don't get me wrong, I understand this isn't necessarily a situation you want them to rush but seriously a 30 minute wait for some antibiotics at 9 at night?! I've filled several prescriptions here and whenever I have had a question, the pharmacist has always been very nice and helpful. If your looking for a last minute toiletry that you've run out of or needing to fill a prescription this is the place to go! read more

I kid you not, over the holidays my family will come here at least once a day. Sometimes twice and we've been known to visit thrice in one day. It's true folks. My family is addicted to Drug Mart and we're proud of it. Whether you're searching for the obvious (contact solution/soap/diapers/candy) or the something a little bit farther outside the typical drug store reach (nice wine/perfume/grocery item) you'll find it here. They're open on holidays (as mentioned above) which is a major bonus too. read more

this particular location is a little ghetto, but still a repeatable drug store. They get you in and out, no questions asked. I love them. Has a moderate grocery section also. read more

My go-to store since it's right down the street. They are cheaper than the other drugstores but still more expensive than a grocery store. I do love the deli addition. This store is great for if you're in a pinch for basic ingredients. Their video section is pretty big and very cheap to rent as well. The store itself can use some updates but overall I have very little complaints. read more

I have been going to this location ever since I can remember and it's fantastic! And for someone who lives in Geauga County, I am surrounded by various Drug Marts. And none compare to this Mentor location. It's always stocked and has everything you need. Tracy, back at the courtesy desk is fabulous. And Karen, up front at the register is quick and pleasant to talk too. I can definitely say not every location has employees like them! Drug Mart ALWAYS saves you the run around! ;) read more

I worked for this place for 10-yrs leaving it in Mid-2000. I would have to say to anyone, go somewhere else. They do not care about people anymore or the way the store looks anymore. They will do what they can to bleed every penny out of you. read more

The worst drug mart in the chain. Expired milk on the shelves. Completely inept, Pizza faced stock boys who couldn't find themselves out of a paper bag. I thought the Eastlake location was bad, but this one is even worse. Management of this chain needs to take action on this branch read more

This is the best pharmacy I've ever been to. The people are friendly and prescriptions are always done quick and accurately.

Stay away from the Pharmacy , they will steal your medicine and lie right to your face over and over that they counted the pills. I am surprised that the BBB hasn't shut them down for stealing customers medication on a regular basis. After it happened to me twice I made a complaint to the Pharmacist and he promised that it was only an honest mistake. I said no problem I except your apology and I gave them another chance. My meds were correct for the next two months and then it happened again! This time I was missing over 7 pills, $70 retail cost without insurance. The same guy told me that it was an accident and that is when I knew that this place was stealing my medicine!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DRUG MART PHARMACY ! read more

I had to order some home health care equipment for surgery I had In July. If you ever have a need, make sure you go in and have Anna help you. She is GREAT! She's helpful, she's upbeat and she is well informed! She not only got what I needed, but by the time I was finished, I felt much less anxious about my surgery! read more
