A different employee (early 20s) came up to me and I said I want to order the cake. She points to the signage and says order online. I told her it's custom and I wanted to select the color options. She told me to do it online and I can edit it at check out. I said last time I was here, the employee got out the iPad and was assisting me with customizing it. She told me she'd "make a one time exception" and moved to go get the iPad. I told her to forget it and walked away because her attitude was about to earn her more than she could handle. Today I ordered on line, called the bakery to customize, because guess what, I could only customize the color of the message. And now this person asks how long ago did I place the order (um, 2 minutes ago) we'll call back because it takes a few hours before the order will be seen in the system. Why it's so inconvenient to help a customer customize a cake when you WORK. IN. THE. BAKERY is mind blowing. I didn't go to the tire section and order a cake. I went to the bakery.
