I couldn't be more pleased with a garage door service. The guy who came to fix the door, went above and beyond and even fixed a rattling noise that had been there since we bought the property over 10 years ago all it took was a couple of little adjustments!! It was so amazing. I highly recommend giving them a call I don't think you'll be disappointed. When I asked for a general price range (knowing that they can't be completely specific or 100% sure because they haven't truly been able to assess the problem but are going off what you have told them) They actually gave me a price!! Unlike the others who will only schedule an appointment - waisting my time when the price might be too high for this month. I am truly pleased with this company and highly highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you thank you, thank you. Your service was amazing. :) read more

I had used Discount Door Service last year to replace a coil spring and some worn hardware - everything went well. I had to call them again for a different problem with the door and I thought: "By golly, EVERYONE should know how good these guys are!" I generally don't bother with reviews, but I thought you should hear this. A young man named Zeneroso showed up (on time) and he was with a guy named Ty. I had a "sagging" door and they quickly came up with a plan and a price. I liked their proposal and they were in and out in less than 1 hour. I couldn't be happier. You got garage door trouble? Great service. Great price. Courteous and knowledgeable. Made reasonable recommendations without pressure sales that many companies use these days. He replaced the rollers for my garage door, and serviced it, in addition to troubleshooting why it was 'acting up' and fixed it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! read more

The people at Discount Door were fabulous. It's my second experience with them in the past year in my new house that I had purchased. They were timely. The estimate was reasonable and honored to the penny and they were very communicative with notices about arrival and work time. Both Tyler and Zenoroso were first to work with! I highly recommend a Discount Door! read more

If you are looking to repair or replace your garage door, look no further than Discount Garage Door.  Melissa MacMeans and her team went above and beyond expectations. From start to finish the customer service was phenomenal not to mention the workmanship. And the price?? Way below other estimates. The Tucson area, unfortunately, has its fair share of shoddy contractors so it is important we share outstanding businesses. I highly recommend Discount Garage Door-520-579-9084 read more

I have been using this company for over 14years They are always quick to respond and extremely pleasant to work with. Had a problem this morning and they were right out to fix it. Love this company! read more

Our garage door broke this morning. I called Melissa at 8 AM. She was very cordial and obviously competent. Kevin showed up at 9 AM as promised, returned the door to its rails, adjusted the spring and rails, replaced the cable to its proper alignment, lubed both garage doors and was done by 10:25. He was friendly, proficient and efficient. The source of the door's problem was the spring that had previously been tightened too much placing additional tension on the motor and door mechanism. $125 was the total bill. I ran a small business for 45 years and I know how it should be done. Melissa is the owner. You know that you are likely to be in good hands when the owner of the business answers the phone. read more

My garage door broke badly I called 3 different companies for estimates, and Discount Doors were able to come out the next day. 2 other companies came out earlier and I was very surprised at how much the estimates were. Then one said it would be 11 weeks before they could get one in an the other was 8 weeks out. Then Discount garage doors came out an to my surprise they beat one estimate by $3k, an the other by $750, and 6 days later my door new door was installed. Very professional, fast, They removed an replaced the old door, springs, rails and all the hardware in under 2 hours. Great job!! They exceeded all my expectations. Dumb me! I backed into my garage door this afternoon and it was concave and off the tracks. I called Discount Garage Doors and they were here within ONE hour. Very prompt and they do quality, cost effective work. A family business that it is a pleasure to support.

They came within 40 minutes of my call and fixed the broken spring for an affordable price

The spring on our garage door broke of all times...you guessed it late Friday afternoon. I began calling around to get pricing and left several messages around town. I contacted the owner of Discount Door Service on Saturday mid-afternoon and was quoted a much better price. She advised someone would be out on Monday. Sure enough just a promised, Kevin called Monday morning to advise he was on his way. He arrived less than ten minutes later. He replaced both springs within 20 minutes or so. The door wasn't quite right, so he made some adjustments, and fixed it right up! It purrs like a kitten now and works better than it did before. Payment was super easy, and he sent us a paid invoice within minutes of leaving. Can't get any better, super competent service than that! I highly recommend Discount for any garage door needs. They've got a customer for life!! Thanks, Discount!! read more

Our garage door broke, and we needed help immediately. I called a few other places with very long wait times for service (think weeks) thankfully Discount Door Service had availability within days. I was very pleased that instead of having to replace the whole door they could brace it and replace the broken part as it had a crack, and the winding mechanism was completely broken. The price was very reasonable, and the service was performed on the same day as the estimate. Since moving to Tucson, we've encountered some shady businesses, but this is not one of those. I would say this is one of the best businesses in Tucson, because they care and aren't trying to upsell their customers. read more

Unacceptable. Scheduler confirmed with us and then had no idea who we were when we called for an ETA after waiting. She agreed to then send a tech to correct her error and that person never showed. She admitted to never having sent him. Ridiculous. read more

Excellent company to work with, very good communication about the day and time of my appt and the name of the person who would be fixing my garage door. I'm so glad I found these guys! Kevin came out within the hour early Sunday morning. He was great. Gave us some really good pointers and explained everything. Also, the bill was not outrageous. Can't go wrong with discount door services. I installed garage door locks which pulled the opener arm out of the door, dumb on my part. Eddie showed up on time and made quick work of reinstalling with a reinforcement plate. He also corrected a couple of things that were installed incorrectly when the opener was originally installed. The door works better than ever. Eddie was great at explaining everything to me as well. He also told me when the door and the door openers were installed and what to look for down the road which was most helpful. Very good price for quality work. I will be using them from here on out. read more

I'm an OK handyman and usually I fix what I can around the house, but certain things are just easier to get handled. Enter Discount Door Service. Woke up to my garage door opener not working. Called when they opened at 8am and had a guy at my house by 9:30am. Took about 20 minutes to replace the busted part and we were back in business. Lubed up the rails and door while he was at it. Price was reasonable, service was great, and the promptness couldn't be beat. No complaints! read more

These guys are awesome. My mom had called one of the nationwide companies that came over and did a "20 point inspection" and came up with a ridiculous price to repair the garage door. It was a total scam. Called these guys and they sent the nicest guy. Total old school fix your problem the right way and totally fair guy. He even connected some extra remotes. It was so nice to deal with an honest tradesman in this valley where everyone is trying to scam the old people. Way to go discount door on being great people. read more

David and I never make a decision without exhaustive research, multiple bids, and reference-checking. Discount Door Service rose to the top in every area. Melissa carefully presented the pros and cons in several areas so we could make the correct garage door choice, and Eddie had the door properly installed in a few hours. All our questions were quickly answered. Even though we called several times to ask more questions (New garage doors don't have outside handles!) Melissa patiently answered each query. When we had difficulty downloading the garage door app on our phones, someone was here to help within the hour. This kind of service is hard to come by in Tucson! Too bad there aren't more stars to give!! Melissa and her team deserve several more. I called 3 companies for quotes. The first two said it would be a few days before they could come out for an estimate. melissa was here in less than 2 hours. Fast, friendly, courteous, very fair price, great work and above all HONESTY!! I did not get a good feeling from the other companies, it seemed they were trying to upsell me and their prices were ridiculous. The door that was replaced was to my workshop, but thy also repaired my main garage door at the same time. The other companies said it would all have to be replaced, but a new trolley and a couple of steel braces my door is as good as new! It's refreshing to work with a company who is so customer service oriented and doesn't try to make you pay uneecessarily. This is my go to company from now on. Im glad I found them read more
