I requested quotes on yelp for garage repair and C&D got back to me very quick! They scheduled an appointment with me within the same. We had a very friendly tech come out and check out our garage door. It was opening by itself and making a loud sound. The tech fixed it quickly and it has no longer had any issues. The cost of the repair is reasonable. read more

I am very happy I chose to go with C&D Garage Doors. They had good reviewed on Yelp and I can see why. Dillan, and his team Chris and Issac, were all professional, accommodating, and quick to respond. I really appreciate their insights, communication throughout the entire process, as well as going above and beyond. I will be using them again and would highly recommend! read more

the last window of the time frame. Seemed hurried. would not or could not answer questions about doors. Said he was falling behind and could not take time to see the Gliderall door I asked about. Also discovered I needed the serial no. of the unit to register it. They could have mentioned this. Had to use ladder to find it. At least I can use my door from the vehicles now except the Jeep. He could not program that. $715 read more

Tim was our technician from C& D today, we had been experiencing a few issues with our doors, Tim knew immediately how to resolve our normally quiet, recently vibrating, loud doors. After several adjustments, they are in perfect, well balanced, extremely quiet shape once again. He was so efficient, professional, knowledgeable & personable. Chris from C & D scheduled our service & kept us informed every step of the way, fantastic customer service & workmanship. Final note, their pricing is wonderful, will definitely use them for all our garage door needs in the future! read more

I purchased a garage door opener that I planned on installing myself, but due to unforeseen medical issues, I was not able to do it. I contacted C&D Garage Doors to get a quote for them to install it. The quote was reasonable, we set up a day and time, and they arrived within the time set. The two techs took about 40 minutes to install the new motor. They were courteous and they did a great job with the install. I think the price was fair and the job was done well. read more

Our garage door became finicky-- it would open, then not close unless I ran back inside and hit the button. I changed the batteries and no luck. After a few weeks I called one company and the guy tried upselling us a 1600 dollar door. Claiming, our door was too heavy and he couldn't guarantee a fix that would cost $750. Sounded unappetizing. So, we called C & D and they showed up in less than 24 hours and on time, had everything needed to do a tidy and less than 2 hour job. Now, we have an up to date smart door opener, new liftmaster and we are good to go for 10 years. I think. We live in a HOA community and have conforming garage doors. This solved everything and we couldn't be happier. read more

We accidentally broke our garage door this morning and realized quickly we couldn't fix this ourselves. I called around 11am and they had their technician out who had it quickly fixed by 1:45pm. Our technician Issac was very professional, helpful, and efficient. Everyone was communicative and kind. We will absolutely use them again in the future, cannot thank them enough. read more

I can't believe it's been this long since I posted anything about my garage door. I meant to post this along time ago. These guys came out with little notice and replaced our entire garage door with an awesome quiet motor and a new windowed garage door. We even upgraded the door to the steel one that makes a lot of soundproofing and doesn't let it get very hot in the garage now. I highly recommend them and have recommended them to family as well. Their pricing was not the highest, but not the lowest either. They have excellent customer service and I have already come out to replace a bolt that broke not due to no fault of their own, but due to the metal bolt just breaking. They fixed it at no charge. read more

C&D garage door showed up on time and took care of the problem. I would use them again if I have any more problems.

Could not get out of my garage as the door would not open. Called C & D and they were here in about 20 minutes. It was the spring. They installed a new spring and lubed the door. The young man that did the work was very professional and polite. Jeanette C. read more

We are very pleased with C & D Garage doors. They repaired two tracks, replaced two rails and also installed a new operator. Both my doors are now working great. I called Chris requesting help replacing springs on my broken garage door. He was honest and friendly over the phone and gave me realistic prices and availability. When we picked up the springs in person, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They even provided a safety and information sheet for when we were replacing the springs. They are a fantastic family owned business that I will be sending everyone to for garage repairs. read more

My garage door opener was 19 years old and the chain kept coming off. I recently had a REALLY frustrating experirnce with another company in town and rad LOTS of reviews before chising this one. I contacted then through the Yelp app. The rep was fast tho respond and suoer helpful. The guys came out quickly and showed me the worn out spool that was causing problems. Because a replacement spool was almost $200 and a whole new unit was only $400 I went with the new opener given the age of mine. They had the replacement on their truck, got it switched out quickly and I couldn't be happier! Glad to have found this company and will definitely use them again! read more

SUPERB. Do not bother using any other garage door company. This family firm is the REAL DEAL. Excellence is their goal and excellence is what one gets. Knowledgeable, professional and Clem is a true craftsman. Clem has years of experience and it was wonderful to witness this professional at work. Thanks to Clem's skills my old garage door continues to offer me many more years service and all for $85.00 The day before I had another garage door company out and they said my garage door could not be fixed and then proceeded to try to sell me a new garage door, which ran into a minimum of four figures!!!! THANK YOU C & D Garage doors for your excellence and knowledge. read more

My garage door began to become erratic when lowering to the closed position. It would lower to 12 - 18 inches, then reverse to the up position (and not due to the obstruction auto reverse safety feature) or would lower about one foot then reverse. After manually operating the door frequently, I decided to have C&D Garage Doors inspect the door for any malfunctions or possible opener replacement. Benny came and inspected the door and determined the opener to be the problem (a 21 year old Lift-Master opener). After consulting with C&D's front office, Benny installed a Marantec (belt-driven) opener. I immediately noticed that this opener is ultra quiet and the door opens and closes like 'silk'. Benny arrived promptly and did a professional job replacing my door opener. I am very satisfied with my experience with C&D and will look to them for any future garage door issues. read more

If you had 6 stars they would get it. I knew my garage door needed service they came out gave me an estimate 700 dollars less then A1 garage door service. Called and sent a service person the next day to fix my balky door. Very late the first day... Diagnosed the problem and needed parts. Came back the following day and fixed the door ... No BS about it needing this and that just to Jack up the price like my other two estimates.I highly urge you to use their service , honest and reliable which is sorely lacking in today's world! New garage door installation completed beyond expectations.

This is the second time I have used this company and as before, they did a great job at a fair price and both Bennie and Clay were a pleasure to have around. We are lucky to have this company in Tucson. read more

After hearing a loud THUD emanating from the garage, a close inspection revealed one of the two Garage Door coil-springs had snapped in half while the door was in the closed position. Apparently these springs typically last anywhere from 5-20 years or so. Ours was about 20 years old and sharp changes in temperature (such as seasonal fluctuations) impact the life of these springs in addition to how well they are lubricated and maintained. On the door itself, we found an existing sticker reflecting the service company that had originally installed it, but they were a week out and had earned 3 out of 5 stars on Yelp. The thought occurred to us that this might be a good opportunity to try another firm with 3 or more stars (hoping they could provide service sooner than one-week at a competitive price.) Sure enough we found, then rang up Bennie at C&D and he was courteous, knowledgeable & friendly on the phone. The price he quoted was very reasonable and he said his technician, Ronnie would be available in less than 24 hours for the service call. Ronnie arrived precisely on time and went to work immediately and efficiently. He replaced both springs and checked door function & alignment, spring adjustment, sensor alignment, mounting bolt tightness, opener function and lubricated every possible moving part. He also spent a few minutes answering my questions and educating us on all aspects of the door mechanics, operator and door springs which was actually quite fascinating. Wow, who gets excited about garage doors for goodness' sake? Well, when the service company arrives the next day, on-time as promised and delivers perfect service at a reasonable price, I do! Thanks again for the fabulous work, Ronnie; Now we have a new sticker on our garage door...C & D! read more

Absolutely the best business to work with! They'd get 10 stars if allowed, went above and beyond to fix our garage door in a timely manner! Professional, honest local business. Highly recommend! read more

Thank you Yelpers! C&D gave the most complete quote over email, answered the phone quickly to make a reservation, showed up on time, and got the work done fast. The pricing was very reasonable as well. A new Liftmaster 8550w belt drive unit, installed was just under $400. read more

Very responsive via the Internet/email, answered all my questions and provided multiple options/estimates and time frame for the job.

My new house is a little over a year old, so when I started noticing one of the garage doors (10' high x 12' wide) was making annoying squeaks and screeches, I first called the company that installed them for a check-up. I wanted to talk to the office manager before confirming a service call but never received a call back. Next step was contacting C&D. The nice lady in the office was personable, professional, and followed up with me twice to say that Clem, one of the owners, would be out to service my door. He showed up as scheduled, fixed not only the problem with the smaller door and adjusted its springs, but also adjusted those on the larger door which prevented the door from slamming the floor too hard upon closing. I observed everything Clem did to educate myself about garage door maintenance. He knows his stuff! He even left me with a can of the commercial lubricant for the door's hinges, rollers, etc. C&D is a first-rate, family-owned company with excellent customer service. You cannot go wrong with them! read more

I dropped in to C&D's office to find out about replacing a panel and broken spring on my Windsor garage door. I talked to Clem who explained that Windsor doors were no longer available but then showed me some Windsor panels from a door they had replaced and suggested there might be a good one that could be used to replace my broken panel and introduced me to Dylan. I told Dylan that I would measure my door to see if it was the same size and get back to him if it was which I did the next day. He said that he would have his techs look at the panels and let me know in a day or two if there were any good ones. Three weeks went by without hearing from him so I dropped into the office again. Dylan recognized me and apologized saying he had spaced it out and that the used Windsor panels had been scrapped. I said let's talk about installing a new door but if you are too busy or don't want to do it just tell me and I won't bother you again. He then showed me some options for a new door and said he would get back to me with a quote in a day or two. Now it is more than a week later, he hasn't called me back, I have two cars that I haven't been able to move for a month now, and am looking for another company to help me out. read more

I called Thursday mid morning, my door was back working (broken lift spring) at noon on Friday. They tried to get to me Thursday evening but it didn't work out. The tech, Dan, was friendly, fast and efficient. It took less than an hour for him to do everything, replace the spring, adjust the opener and lube everything that could be lubed. Cost: $185. I do not feel this is out of line for the work that was done. Overall, I am very happy with the work and company. read more

We were referred to this company by a friend. Their customer service was top notch. The company was slammed with work but the owner made time to come out himself and give us an estimate. He showed up early in the morning on time as scheduled. We had three estimates done. C & D was the first. He explained everything thoroughly such as the type of garage door, metal thickness, benefits of an insulated garage door vs non insulated and the details of their modern system. The second company that came out was also professional and on time but he did not reach the high standards that C&D set for us. The third company showed up two hours late and didn't even send us a quote as promised. Needless to say, we went with C & D and we are so happy with our new garage door. The day of the installation, Noah? came out right on time, he was really friendly and someone I didn't mind leaving at my house alone to complete the work despite never meeting him before. Our garage is right below our kids' bedrooms so having a quiet system was really important for us and we got just that. It reminds me of a Prius, you can't even hear it when it turns on! We also got a really modern system I hadn't seen before - I can now open my garage door with my phone, or let someone in from miles away. It also has the option to send me notifications when the garage door is opened or closed. I can also disable the remotes from home and easily change the keyless pad code if needed. I love it. I also forgot to mention that I had one company come out through my home warranty (didn't work out) and what they wanted to charge me for just THE DOOR was close to what C&D charged for the ENTIRE NEW SYSTEM. Thank you so much C&D! read more
