The day I picked it up, the new fenders light bulb was broken off inside the lens not working, the fender wasn't in line with the door and hood, the door had fish eyes in the clear and a buffer burn. I made another appointment to get these fixed which they did, no charge. Again, I had to pay for another rental car for three days though. While it was there I decided to have them replace the seat bottom foam and cover I had bought at the jeep dealership. I picked the jeep up discovering that upon reinstalling the seat, they poked a hole in the new oem jeep 600.00 seat cover and scratched both the door panel and sil plate with the metal seat track. Also, the air bag light was illuminated on the dash. They agreed to purchase a new door panel and sil plate, but the cover is no longer available. I suggested they repair the old one for me to have as a spare and leave the new one on with a hole for fear of more damage. That would not be anywhere close to the cost of buying a new one. It took several phone calls, stop ins and emails to get those parts from them. After many many months of the seat cover being at the shop, with the owner saying it would get repaired after I stopped to see, I gave up and picked up the unrepaired seat bottom cover, now covered in dust and dirt. Chapter closed at least. I don't just leave negative reviews, it's not my thing but I have never had to call, email and stop in a place of business so many times to get something fixed, yet not completely. This was an extremely unprofessional transaction. Each time there were easily seen things wrong. I understand things happen, but this was all in lack of quality control, honesty and follow through.

I got a second quote at Mayfield Collision Centers since they were also highly-rated on Yelp but had to wait 15 mins to even get a quote then another 20 minutes while they wrote the quote up. The labor rates were higher ($50/hr for one but $75/hr for the other) and they wanted to work on a lot more of the car than would think necessary, it was a 30-40% higher estimate overall than Mayfield-Brainard. So I went with Mayfield-Brainard and am happy with the work they did, the damage was repaired and the paint well-matched and blended. The final price was actually $5 less than my estimate! My only complaint was that I was quoted roughly 5 business days of work but didn't get a call about the progress of my car even by day 4. It ended up taking a total of 7 days of work but it was me initiating the phone calls to get updates each time. The other small thing is that they only washed the parts of my car they worked on which is understandable but would've been a nice small gesture if they just washed the whole car. I'd come back for future body work, the place is straight-forward and reasonably priced but don't expect any bells and whistles.
