The selection is kinda crappy compared to the Highland Disc Replay. Some of the video games are overpriced too. Ehhhh

Midnight Releases that are quick AND everyone gets the right stuff??? Yuuup!!!…read more I've been here for the Midnight releases of both Halo Reach and Halo 4, both times were Legendary, gotta give 'em the Flawless Cowboy achievement for their customer service. Here's the skinny: The store - nice, open, good selection. The staff - big time gamers, know what's up. The Midnight releases - Holy Mother of God! Fun! Here's the fat: The store itself has a nice open layout, games are easy and obvious to find. If you can't find it the store associates will help you out if they know(or think) they have it. It's pretty clean too, no dusty shelves or dis-arranged games. They run a nice place. The staff is pretty much what you'd expect at a video game store, GAMERS. They know about video games that are coming out like... a year from now, then they tell you "oh you can go here and see some screenshots". Nice, I like info and they like giving it out. As far as Midnight releases go, they do 'em right here. Come in early either pay off your pre-order or show them your receipt(they can find it if you don't have it) then wait. I hate waiting... this wasn't waiting though, this was playing Halo Reach via system link in the store while time ticks by. When it was finally time, the staff managed everything very well, gathering the groups by receipt # and getting a nice line formed. Everything ran really smoothly, I was home playing Halo 4 by 12:25 am. Way to go Gamestop! This is probably gonna be my Midnight release place from now on. The one down the street is kinda eh... SYOY

Very small store but with the games we wanted. Prices were only ten bucks or so off new games, a…read moredifference that I spent in gas and time going there compared to buying new games on line from home. At the checkout, very very hard sell to join a $15 rewards program where you just couldn't get the clerk to stop. It looks like the reward on a $40 used game is about 6 cents. Finally as check out progressed we found he added a $4 game warranty, without asking or telling us. Just not the kind of place I like to reward with repeat patronization. We will try finding an on line used game dealer instead of revisiting this place.

The best in the business, dedicated to there craft and research. The video palace is a family owned…read moreand operated business, that has always worked to serve the community. I remember them being open when everyone else was closed, one christmas eve.

My son wanted money towards a new gaming system he actually plays, so we called this store to see…read morehow much Video Palace would buy his Oculus Quest 2. This system currently sells new for 400.00 at Walmart. Verbally over the phone the guy said, "I could give you 145.00 for it." Already a bad offer, we drive there and the guy inspects it then proceeds to tell us, "Okay 125.00." Upon telling him that he stated over the phone 145.00 and not 125.00 (which was absolutely true), he continued to lie and insist he stated 125.00. On eBay, a used Oculus Quest 2 sells for a little more than 200.00. It was a complete rip-off and he knew it but that's how he operates -- He tells the customer a price offer over the phone, the customer drives and wastes gas to get there, then while you're there, he lowers the price and says, "I didn't say that," with a bright red face flushing full of dishonesty. Really? Let's get real here. This isn't Neiman Marcus. Never again. Avoid the game playing and incompetency of people who think you're naive because your son is selling his gaming system he never plays and just wants his own money for Christmas. I draft long thesis arguments in Biomedical Ethics and graduated from Indiana University with a master's degree and a 4.0 GPA. I am no imbecile.
