Buffalo - Robust sauce, fried Hard, was my favorite of the order. 2. ??? - I believe I ordered teriyaki but this could also be Cajun Barbecue. Either way they were good. Hot, fresh, and crispy. 3. Hot Lemon Pepper - I really dislike breaded wings. The flavoring wasn't hot to me and the breading was very thick and soggy. 4. Fries - Overcooked. I wanted to try this place a minimum of twice before leaving my review. The first time I went was around 8pm on a Friday. There was a line out the door to place orders and once I was told there was a 1.5hour wait before they would take more orders; I decided that wouldn't be the day I tried them. I went again two days later and it was much quicker. I ordered my husband the 10 piece wings all flats and got half Cajun BBQ half Dirty Sauce. I chose the 4 piece tender plate for myself with them tossed in honey jerk. There is such a large selection of flavors that I had a hard time deciding and hope they add a description for some of the not so obvious flavors. Their tenders were really juicy but I didn't taste the jerk in the honey jerk sauce. Their Mac and Cheese and fries were just alright. The WINGS are hands down the BEST I've had in Charlotte! They have a great texture on the wings before they're sauced. Sauces Ranked: 1. Cajun BBQ 2.Dirty Sauce 3.Honey Jerk The wings were so good we actually went back again a week later. The wait was a little over 40 minutes. This time I decided to try the tenders again but with a better choice in sauce. I got the 4 piece tender plate tossed in Cajun BBQ. It was good.... but the wings still are wayyyy better. I'd definitely want to check them out on one of their wing special days. First off they didn't have a great portion of what was on the menu. The dirty rice was just yellow rice. They don't season their yams, or string beans they were all straight out the can. The only good thing they had was the lemonade. I highly recommend that ppl should try sumthin else instead. read more

I tried the new Northlake location tonight and ordered a 10pc plate that came with wings and 2 sides. I ordered hot lemon pepper wings with mac and cheese and collard greens. The chicken was really good and fresh. The mac and cheese was okay, not bad but not great, but seems like I got the last bit of the pan. The greens were really salty though. Definitely would come back to the location, but probably would only order wings next time. read more

New chicken spot in Charlotte that offers a lot more than just chicken. They have a ton of different wing flavors you can get and they are open late night. In my opinion they are overpriced and the wings themselves are just okay. I got two sides and a lemonade. My one side was dirty rice which was not good at all, the mac and cheese was good, and the lemonades are amazing. There is a ton of artwork on the outside of the building so you can't miss it and it is small walk up counter in the front. You can eat outside at the table but this is still an upcoming area so be warned there's a chance you'll be approached by homeless people, it is more of a takeout spot. The customer service on my visit was good, I did not have any complaints. This spot is new so they are constantly adding to their menu promoting different eggrolls, lobster pops, desserts, days you can get $1 wings, and much more. I've only been here one time so I will give it another shot but as far as wing spots go there are better places in Charlotte to go so I'll try other items on their menu the next time I visit. read more

Waited 2hrs which I guess I understand because I had a pretty big order because everything looked so good online. This establishment is not good! the establishment itself is in a sketchy area, but I still gave them a chance just trying to support black owned local businesses But they have poor service in regards to customer service and the way that they handle customers unpleasant experiences. One of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a while. Got here around 7:15 pm and it took about 10 minutes to place the order. They said it'll take about 25-30 minutes so wait in your car and they'll text when it's ready. They did not text until 8:25 pm. Why did it take an hour for you to make 2 10 piece combos?? So we get our order and check before we leave and we're missing a whole 5 wings in one of the flavors we ordered. So we go back in to tell them and the cook comes up to the front and tries to gaslight us and say she put the other 5 wings in a little box. Obviously you didn't if I'm sitting here with all the food I received in my hand and those 5 wings are not in there. And the cashier and cook are blaming each other about the miscommunication and the whole time neither one of them have apologized for the hour long wait and incorrect order. So now that we've waited 1.5 hours for wings, the food we received the first time is just sitting around getting cold and soggy. So we had to reheat the food in the air fryer once we got home. I got the fries crispy and put some seasoning salt on them and they were pretty good. The hot lemon pepper was a little too salty for me. But the honey hot was really good. And we realized we actually only got 19 wings because we were missing 1 hot honey. And they have a teeny tiny restaurant where only about 5 people can fit in so you have to excuse yourself through the whole line waiting outside to tell them to fix your order. Went to get food today and heard that the food was great! Well I will start with the positives the food was great but I will never return. You cannot call orders in and I don't even mind the wait for freshly cooked food. The problem was that I ordered my food at 1 pm and at about 2 pm, I inquired about my food. As I approached she was like you have a pick up did I text you and I replied no but it's been over an hour. She then discovered that she had never placed my order. She then acted as if it were my fault that she did not give the kitchen my order and said she would move my order to the front. Twenty minutes later we got our food without an apology or nothing just here you go and get the hell on. Again the customer service is less than desirable and if you make a blatant mistake at least acknowledge be somewhat apologetic and correct it. This place have a very interesting way of running a business. I came on 1/12/2024 around 8pm. I initially wanted wings, fries and a shrimp taco, but they were out of wingettes. The server comes back to say they were out of the honey bqq sauce. So I ordered oxtail egg rolls meal, and once again they were out of oxtails. Not to mention, we paid before the food came. So I told her to just add another shrimp taco and a side of fries, in hopes of receiving a refund because they were out of literally everything I wanted. I made it very clear that I wanted 2 tacos and the server tried to gaslight me into thinking I said I wanted three tacos so she could avoid giving me a refund. I talked with a manager they were so adamant about not refunding me $6 for the additional taco that I did not ask for or offered to give me a gift card to come back assuming I would ever come back to a place so unorganized and janky. This is at the Northlake location by the way. I understand new businesses have their ups and downs but not accommodating a customer because your server made a mistake is just money hungry. One person at my table waited over 20 minutes for a cup of water and was told they were out of lemons! LOL Then our food came out in an hour and the place was almost empty, and everyone at my table still didn't receive their full orders, and wasn't if we didn't speak up about it. And still then we eventually had to leave without the cornbread side to two of the orders. We did not receive any napkins with our order. However the food was a 7/10, overall experience was a 4/10.
