I also asked the cashier what the $1 "Custom Item" was on my receipt and she moved a bottle opener out of the way to show me a sticky note on the register that mentions a $1 charge for using a card. My bad for missing that, I guess. I can understand a local business needing to raise prices to survive right now, but this was practically deceitful. She ordered a dozen with a couple gluten free and the lady REFUSED to package them separately. My mom mentioned the allergy and she just didn't even care. Not to mention my mom made a very large expensive order. The only reason we even went there in the first place was for their gluten free bundt cakes. She even asked to just buy one to eat then and the lady wouldn't even sell her just one. Talk about horrible customer service. I'm bummed because of how much we love their other locations, but we will never be back to this one. It's not hard to have good customer service, so how poorly my mom was treated is so upsetting.
