I've been meaning to go to La Crepe OG in Ogden forever but I'm never up that direction…read more You'd better bet when I was up in Ogden for a cheer competition I made a point to go!! When we entered the building we were immediately drawn in by all the flowers and the bright space. Every wall was covered in flowers, neon lights, and gorgeous lighting. It is adorable!! The woman who took our order was super sweet and our food came out quickly. I've seen their "over the top" shakes on Instagram for years so that was a MUST. We also ordered a panini and several crepes. Everything was delicious, super "Grammable," and beautiful. I may need to make a special trip back to Ogden just to come here!!

You are greeted with walls of pink flowers and tons of spots to take cute Instagram worthy pictures! The service was good. We went on a Monday afternoon and it wasn't busy. There is a sign stating they are short staffed and I only saw one sweet lady running the whole show. We didn't have to wait very long for food because she was surprisingly quick! Very friendly too. The food was very good! Good size, great flavor and beautiful presentation. They had so much to choose from on the menu that all sounded amazing. My only complaint is for a crepe, it's pricey. Almost $20 for a crepe is why I knocked a star off. Other than that, I'd recommend this place for a nice brunch spot with the girls!

It's a small little place that shares an entrance with a restaurant. They do have a handful of tables available to eat in, or they do take out as well. They have Hispanic music videos playing on a tv and the music coming through the speakers. The people working there were so kind and helpful. They helped us completely customize our desserts, and made us white girls feel completely welcome and not out of place at all. It was a fun, bright, inviting place! They have a wide variety of sweet and savory snacks, that all look addictively delicious. We were specifically looking for dessert and were tempted by SO many tasty options. We all decided on a variation of an ice cream filled concha. Is this a common Hispanic thing? I have never seen it before, not even on my trips to Mexico, but it is GENIUS!!! Concha's, if you don't know, are kind of like a Mexican donut/pastry. It's essentially a non sweet roll with chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla icing in the design of a shell on top. It's a perfect balance of sweet and savory. So imagine that tasty roll filled with ice cream, Nutella, and fruit! Mind blown right?! The concha had chocolate icing, I chose marzipan ice cream (it's not a Scandinavian almond marzipan, but a Hispanic peanut marzipan that's similar to a candy), Nutella, and strawberries on top. The portions were huge and with tax it only cost $7. Listen, I live in Draper and would GLADLY travel to Ogden to get this again! And as much as I'm obsessed with the ice cream concha, I also REALLY want to try some of the savory snacks too! So maybe I'll do a savory snack followed by a sweet snack next time. Anyway, it's a little hole in the wall that is COMPLETELY worth trying!!!! You need ice cream concha's in your life, trust me!

There are an abundance of flavors to choose from which got overwhelming but these employees were very helpful when it came to any questions I had. I usually never finish my ice cream but it was so creamy that my will power was gone. I got the butterscotch flavored ice cream with toffee bits which is called butter bricken. (I think?) Great customer service, clean ice cream parlor, and great location with a beautiful view to enjoy while you indulge in your sweet treat.

Years ago, I don't remember being able to go up the stairs to another area, (I could be completely wrong) but this most recent time, we went upstairs and sat to enjoy our scoops while we looked at all of the old fashioned candy, sundae bar, and old fashioned sodas available for purchase. It was only $15 for three of us, two of us got 2 scoops! The best prices in town by FARR (see what I did there? ;) ) and an overall fun ambiance that keeps you wanting more! We are already planning our next trip in, and we can't wait to see what fun flavors are being offered! My personal favorite was the Weber Wildcat. It is a grape ice cream which sounds a little unusual, but BOY was it good!!

The interior is thoughtfully arranged, a pleasure to peruse, and even features a fun upstairs area. As neighbor to Great Harvest, it always smells like baking bread, an unexpected bonus! Yet despite all these excellent attributes, I stop here for one thing, and one thing only: chocolate. The center of the store features a three-sided shelving unit filled with all manner of chocolate bars and candies. Many are craft, some not so much, but it is certainly the greatest variety and amount you are likely to find in Ogden, and possibly Utah, save for Glorious Caputos in SLC. But that is not all! They have a small case at the front counter, and this is where you should really be directing your attention. They are one of the few spots you can find Chocolot, and the only source I am aware of for Food of the Goods chocolates and truffles. Both are excellent, high quality, and skillfully crafted goods by local chocolatiers! I am most familiar with Chocolot. Their style is artisan, showing off well-tempered shiny, crackly-thin shells, often decorated with vibrant splashes of color, or smooth pattern-topped squares. I have never had a bad chocolate, but standouts are Grand Marnier, Strawberry Balsamic, Mint Leaf, Espresso Lavender, and Pistachio Cardamom. Some of my recent FOTG favorites are Mango Turtle and Caramel Cocoa Wafer, and EVERY SINGLE truffle they offer. Seriously, that filling is so, so luscious and rich and perfectly balanced! If you can only get one, though, the candied cacao nib rolled variety is one of the best things I have recently tasted. Truly took my breath away with it's perfection. Everyone I have interacted with here is lovely, kind and patient. Prices are in line with similar purveyors of quality goods, the bon bons themselves ranging from $2-$4 each. This is a gem of a shop, Ogden, treasure it!
