We bought a beautiful dresser three years ago for ~$1000. It had everything we wanted in our price range, enough drawers for both of us, gorgeous details on the outside, that millennial grey color that we love, no complaints. Amazing service at the store. Within a few months, one of the handles snapped off one of my drawers. Then another. Nbd, someone is giving away really good drawer pulls in my local Buy Nothing group. Problem solved. Fast forward about a year, my bottom drawer breaks on the frame. No problem, I pick up a few wood screws from a friend and repair it myself. Now, about a year later, the front panel on one of the smaller drawers has come completely off on the left side, and I can't repair it. Over the three years we've had this dresser, it has slowly been breaking down in new and frustrating ways. And though the folks who work at Nadeau are really friendly people, that "all sales final rule" can and will bite you in the butt. But hey if I ever want to become an Airbnb landlord who pays as little money as possible for instagram-pleasing furnishings, this is the place. Edit- I lived in NYC when I created my yelp account over ten years ago. I never bothered to change my location until now (probably because I didn't know that was a thing!) Nadeau messaged me saying no one from the store recalls ever speaking with me- my husband called Nadeau about the drawers. Seeing as it was several months ago that he called, and his name isn't Holly, I wouldn't expect anyone to remember the call! As I said, the person was very nice, but told us that all sales are final, and that's fine! I have nothing against the quality service of the store, my problem is with the quality of the furniture.

Plus, we had an odd shaped room that we recently rehabbed that we needed the sofa in, and the Joybird team patiently looked at our many diagrams of possibilities, made their own suggestions and fielded our questions. I am certain I would have not been as patient with us as they were. They didn't make us feel stupid for all our questions, or rush us when we were clearly "chieftains of indecision". This was true even when we lingered a bit long at or near closing time. The jaybird team made so many accommodations and changes for us and we felt genuinely cared for us even with our idiosyncrasies. We finally finally made up our minds on the exact sofa, number of pieces and color, and now have this great new sofa in our basement movie room. Even the delivery guys were exceptional. We got our couch during a sale, and even with adding back in the five-year warranty (which also included two large cushions as part of the package) the cost was cheaper than the list price. Our delivery was several weeks after ordering, which was sooner than estimated; the delivery guys unwrapped the couch parts and put on the feet, but oddly did not clip the sections together; seems like that should be done while everything is in its disassembled state? So now we have to figure that out. But happy with the couch so far: very comfortable (I don't want to get off of it).

We chose a round table with 4 chairs on it. It is a wooden table. We got a discount since we bought a lot. Aside from buying a table and chair we also buy some displays. We bought round glass with a unique design. It's perfect for my wall. We have a frame display that is attached to my wall already. They have a lot of good furniture so it was hard to choose what we wanted. Some staff recommend it. It's good that the staff knows what 's good and not. I must say I highly recommend this place. I had another chair recovered in velvet at Calico Corners in Wilmette and it does not attract dust and lint at all so it is not necessarily a function of all velvets. You were not nearly as helpful as you sound here on yelp when I had these complaints after the sofa was done. You' were completely unresponsive and refused to assist any further. At minimum, the sofa should've been comfortable and you definitely did mislead me on your product.
